“Marissa uses her healthy baby to entrap everyone around her while Ellice’s daughter is fighting for her life”
The entire family waits for some good news, Gabriel rushes out of the delivery ward to inform them that Marissa has given birth and he helped with the delivery so Sonya asked if its not only the father who’s responsible for that and Gabriel looks at Sonya guilty. The nurses sent Ellice to a different ward.
The doctor tells the family that the baby’s temperature has risen and her condition is also unstable as Gabriel looks depress. Lucing wonders why Marissa didn’t take her advice but listened to Gabriel.
They go into Ellice’s ward, Gabriel’s father tells him to take good care of his wife and the child as well and they leave the hospital. Gabriel’s brother encourages him before leaving.
Lucing is still talking to Marissa when the doctor brought her son, Marissa is happy to hear that her son is healthy so she can be discharged. Marrisa asks Lucing if Ellice is okay and Lucing said Ellice is okay but the baby isn’t.
Gabriel arrives at Ellice’s ward asking how she is doing, Ellice was in a hurry to see her baby but Gabriel says everything is fine and their baby is in the incubator since the doctors are watching over her, they promise each other that they won’t allow anything to happen their way.
Marissa gives her son to Lucing and she plays with the child, Marissa also tells her they will name her child Jacob after seeing a nurses name tag.
Gabriel and Ellice have gone to where their child was kept. The doctor tells them their child is not breathing well but they are trying to stabilize her as she is seen in the incubator. Ellice approaches the baby saying she will be named Hope because of the hope the baby has brought into their lives and despite everything she is still fighting to stay with them.
The Next day, Marissa goes to Ellice’s place and Ellice ask her about the company. Gabriel arrives with food and feeds Ellice as Marrisa looks jealous. Lucing prepares breakfast for Marrisa and plays with her son as well.
Ellice tells Gabriel to go and check on the company to see if things are going on well. Gabriel goes back to where his daughter is and says he l*ves her before leaving.
Marissa has gone to the office with Blue after her delivery and they were surprised to see Gabriel. Ellice seen at her baby’s room in the hospital.
Gabriel goes to Marissa’s office and Marissa ask of Ellice’s health and their baby’s condition. Marissa gave Gabriel a proposal for change of policy which needed Ellice’s signature to make it work, Gabriel reads it and is impressed.
Marissa and Blue arrive home and she introduces Blue to Lucing that he was her driver even though he asked for permission to court her, she then told her mom not to take what Blue said seriously because it was only a joke but Lucing makes it clear she didn’t like that joke.
Later, Marissa discusses what Ellice is facing at the hospital so she decides to push Lucing to help Ellice, Marrissa tells her mom to go and help Ellice at the hospital since she might need some help. Lucing was surprised at how thoughtful Marissa has become and felt her daughter has changed for the better.
Later, Gabriel shows the document about the policy change to Ellice who didn’t even read the document and just trusts he and Marissa will handle the company well.
The Next day, Marissa invited one of the workers (Gilbert) to her office and told him she was working to increase his salary to support his hard work after hearing his reason for taking loans.

Later, Marissa arrives and thanks Gabriel for taking good care of her baby. At the hospital, Ellice cries about her baby’s condition and Lucing consoles her not to cry other wise her case will worsen and hugs Ellice as Gabriel arrives after he called her repeatedly but she wasn’t answering.
Sonya pays Gabriel a visit at the office and Marissa interrupts them so Gabriel introduces Marissa to Sonya.
Marissa tells Sonya that she overheard their conversation and could assist her since she knows someone at the city hall who could expedite her permit. Sonya hurriedly gives her card to Marissa so she contacts her if everything goes smoothly.
Marissa tells Gabriel she will reschedule their meeting so Gabriel can go to the hospital to take care of Ellice. Gabriel was so thankful to her as she left. Sonya tells Gabriel that Marissa is something else.
