“Edward is finally rescued as William pretends to take a bullet to save his brother Edward”
Edward hides when he sees Willam’s men approaching. Grace becomes worried after hearing a gunshot when she asks the officer he said it’s a $hootout between the kidnappers and the police rescuing Edward.
William also heard the guπshot and sneaks into the bush pretending he is looking for Edward. Grace calls out to him but he is already gone.
Edward is seen in a lot of pain and shouts for help, Grace overhears him and rushes after him too. However,William comes across Edward first and he keeps calling out for his brother to help him but William just stands there looking at him. Hearing Grace’s voice and seeing she is closing in on Grace, William brings out his gun remembering the ki$s he witnessed between Edward and Grace and points his gun at Edward as he begs William to not k!ll him.
Grace arrives right there and asks what he doesn’t want William to do so William intentionally pushes Edward down and starts $hooting at his men as he is shot in the process. William pretends to be in a lot of pain but tells Grace to help Edward out of there. Edward didn’t want to leave him behind since he is shot but William insists they go ahead so Grace leaves with Edward.
After they leave, a limping William picks up his gun and calls out his men, they come in front of him and he almost $hoots them but the police arrive calling out for him since Edward and Grace directed them to him after they were rescued. William then tells his men to run away and pretends to be in pain calling out for the police to rescue him.
They are brought to the hospital. Marissa calls Grace and she informs her that Edward has been found and they are at the hospital.
Cherie arrives there and starts fighting with Grace for putting her boyfriend in danger until Grace breaks free, she almost $laps Grace but William arrives there in a wheelchair telling her to stop hurting Grace because he wanted to help them so she better understands and orders her to apologize to Grace so cherie tells Grace she is sorry.
The Doctor tells Grace and her family that Edward’s x-ray shows no signs of any fractures so he is okay. Stella arrives and is happy to see Edward, she asks of Willam and Edward said he is still with the doctor since he was shot so she turns worried when William and Cherie arrive in Edward’s ward.
Stella asks William if he is okay and blames Grace for putting her children in danger. Grace said she didn’t mean for that to happen but Stella said it still happened and Edward tells her to not blame Grace because he knew the dangers involved but no matter what he will still choose to protect Grace and William said that’s exactly what he did by taking the bullet meant for Edward and saved the life of his brother.
Marissa tells Stella to understand her children and so does Cherie. Grace assures her they will bring the criminals to justice as William looks uncomfortable.
Later, Cherie asked William why he placed himself in danger during the rescue mission and he said he had to take a bullet to impress his mom and he knows what he is doing since he is not $tupid and he wants to divert the attention from Edward because he might be the damsel in distress but he is still the hero of the story especially to his mom.
William sees the police at the hospital and becomes worried so cherie asks what’s wrong with him since it’s only the police. William then sends her to go into Edward’s ward to find out what’s going on.
Later, William is present in Edward’s ward as the police interrogate him and he tells Grace and the officers that the kidnappers keep mentioning boss and taking orders from him as he gets flashbacks of when he was kidnapped. Grace asked if he will be able to recognize them or their boss but Edward is not so sure.
William tells it’s Marcus men and it’s not the time to analyze things but they should be grateful Edward is safe but Grace tells the officer to find the boss and their connection to the case.
At home, William tells Cherie he just hates it that Edward is back because now that he is back he won’t get control of the things he wants since he will be pushed out again but not this time since he has put a lot of effort in it.
Cherie asked if he is behind Edward’s disappearance but he said of course not that he may be the bad guy but he will never kidnap his own brother and he has just put in so much effort to get back in the company so Edward had better not stay in his way and they need to come up with a plan to keep him out.
Anton and Stella are so happy to see Edward as he is accompanied by William and William gets jealous. William said it’s good Edward is back and he is working in the company again but it’s good there are no complaints.
Stella thanks William because they will never forget his heroic acts for saving Edward and Edward tells him he is super grateful for his help and keeping Grace safe. William said he will do anything for his family.
In a meeting at the company, it is reported the profits of the company has increased by 10% and Edward jokingly asked Willam if it really happened under his leadership because he is so impressed.
After the meeting, Anton talks to William in the presence of Edward about his performance and they are thinking of appointing him as vice president for operations and he will be reporting directly to Edward annoying William.
However, Edward is proud of his brother and Anton tells him he is grooming Edward to take over and Edward thanks him for entrusting the Empire and his legacy to him.
William asked if his kid brother will be his boss and he is happy they are working together. Edward tells him to keep out of trouble since he just got out of his nightmare but William said his nightmare isn’t over yet because the people who are after him are still out there and Edward said he knows but don’t want them to dictate how he lives his life because he has to be strong for his parents especially Grace annoying William as Anton assures them everything will work out fine.
Edward visits Grace with a banquet of flowers and tells her he misses her so he wants to make up for all the times he was away but Grace tells him he doesn’t have to do anything but just be there with her always so she takes care of him.
Edward tells her he can’t wait for another year to marry her because he wants to marry her as soon as possible and Grace said she just wants to be with him. Edward nearly collapsed and Grace asked if he is okay but he said yes probably it’s low blood sugar.
Edward is welcomed back to the company by everyone and they are all happy to see him. Grace goes to her desk and William is sitting in the cubicle next to her saying she looks happy and his brother is really good for her and Grace thanks him for his help. William asked her if it’s a compliment because it doesn’t sound like her so she should give him a hug which Grace agrees.
While hugging William he whispers into her ears that he missed her and Grace asked what he means but William said they were always together looking for Edward but now he is back so now he guess he should move on. Grace said he will be busy now that he is vice president but he tells her he will never be busy for her while looking at her.
Cherie dressed up William for work since it’s his first day as Vice president and William said he wish to see the faces of the staff if Anton introduces him and Cherie said the prodigal son is back to take his rightful place but William said not yet because Edward is still officially the boss and Cherie tells him to be patient because one day he will get the position.
William tells her that’s why he l*ves her so much because she believes in him and he won’t disappoint him and not only Edward’s position but the entire family business will be theirs and Cherie said he should make sure of that.
Edward hands over a case to Grace and John in the board room but gets a strong headache within the meeting so Grace asks what the problem is and if he is sensitive to light but he said he doesn’t know as he starts vomiting.
Grace tells him they should visit the clinic but he said he is fine so she should take it easy and he has to go to the company since Anton needs him there.
Edward visits the company in a lot of pain, Anton tells him he doesn’t want to give the VP position to William. Edward is surprised since William has proven himself but Anton said when he gave him a position before instead of coming to work he was either drunk or high on drugs and Edward said he shouldn’t stress over such things but if it makes him better he will check on William so he will be fine and Anton said he hopes so unbeknownst to them William was listening in on their conversation.
Cherie calls William to check on him and he tells her Anton and Edward are talking behind his back thinking he doesn’t have what it takes for the position and the favorite son Edward is offering to check on him. Cherie tells him to prove them wrong and William calls them f0ols and that he will let them eat their words because he won’t play second fiddle to Edward and he will make sure Edward gets out of the way.
