“Jacob commits su¢!de after a failed attempt to escape”

We begin tonight’s episode with Alyanna reporting the incident of the shoot out, Joaquin watches in anger so does Don Emelio, the Arevelos and Verna.. Alyanna states Jacob will be facing serious charges for his crimes and a 2 million pesos reward for anybody who can pin point Joaquin’s location.

The Arevelos are glad Jacob will pay for his crimes so is Grandma flora and the family who watches the news too, the kids praise cardo for a good work done.

Joaquin calls cardo a piece of trash and he has lost billion because cardo keeps messing things up for him. Verna calls to ask if he is safe and Joaquin tells her it’s better she doesn’t know where he’s. She ask him to give up so they relocate to a different country but Joaquin refuses saying he can get back at them and buy more men.

Delfin and Cardo visit their injured friends who are recuperating. Delfin congratulates them for apprehending Jacob and assured cardo they will soon capture Joaquin since the world he lives in has gotten smaller.

Don Emelio gets angry at Joaquin for what happened since the CIDG now has General Jacob but Joaquin insist he’s loyal to them but Don Emelio tells him loyalty doesn’t exist especially to those who wants to save themselves so Joaquin assures him that’s going to be his last failure and he shouldn’t worry because he won’t stop their operations but Don Emelio tells him to put it on hold temporarily since they after him and Cardo is the root of all their problems and he really should’ve finished him off when he had the chance.

Joaquin said if they come after him he will be prepared and he will get to Cardo first and he
k!ll him. Don Emelio ask him to stop being reckless and leave cardo alone for now.

The corrupt warden asked if they might get into trouble too since Jacob got him the job in the precinct so maybe they should suspend their operations in the prison for now but Don Emelio assured him they safe.

Delfin and Cardo go to question Jacob but he said they won’t get anything from him and there’s a reason he’s still alive. Cardo tells him
“General your happy days are over so I will suggest you start cooperating with us. He holds Jacob by the neck asking where Joaquin is but Delfin calms him down whiles Jacob looks so scared.

At home, Grandma flora ask how cardo’s friends and colleagues are doing, he said they recovering and the family discuss Jacob and hope he pays for his crimes.

Joaquin tells his henchman that he will close the business and lie low for now and he will start doing his dad’s former business and he wants his men to k!dnap some kids who are healthy and strong and can be useful to them and they shouldn’t mess it up.

Paco comes to take the children home since they playing outside but paquito refuses to go after seeing the child from earlier picking trash cans, he introduces him to the others including paco who agree to help him.

At the hospital, Jacob tells himself he needs to get out of there soon because his family needs him and he’s sure Joaquin has started planning how to get rid of him and stop him from testifying but he won’t go down easily since he has to make them pay for ruining his reputation, he attacks the doctors and officers and tries to escape.

Cardo the others catch him red handed and he’s cuffed again.

The family gives the child some food and clothes and Grandma flora offers to take him to the social welfare but he refuses.

Verna visits Joaquin again to convince him to flee the country but he refuses and she gets to know about his latest business after seeing a room full of kids crying and she stands in shocks.

Grandma flora and the rest go to see where the child lives and get surprised he leaves on the street.

Joaquin tells Verna he is reviving his dad’s business and he still have his contacts who are willing to do business with him and it’s safer than selling dr*gs and she’s not new to this, he said even if they’ve more money it’s never enough reminding Verna of her promise to support him in all his endeavors.

The CIDG holds a press conference, where Jacob is presented to the public, Delfin said now that they have caught him he will be punished for all his crimes and the 2million pesos bounty on Joaquin head is still in effect and the public should be alert since he’s arm*d and danger0us.

It’s court day for General Jacob and he pleads not guilty.

Verna goes to visit Don Emelio in jail,she tells him all of Joaquin’s allies have been caught and Don Emelio said not everyone since she hasn’t been caught yet.

Monica is been interrogated in court regarding how she met Jacob and she admits meeting him at Joaquin’s hideout and they were usually discussing their business relating to how they can export !llegal drugs to other countries.

Don Emelio tells Verna he already warned Joaquin to think about his plans and actions with the business and Cardo and her son is a grown man so he can answer for himself and Verna ask him to save her son so he doesn’t end up like them.

In court, the lawyer ask Monica what role she played in Joaquin group and she admits using her job as a reporter to help their agenda by clearing the Tuazon’s name, gain public sympathy for Joaquin and also spread lies about Ricardo Dalisay as tears flows done her checks.

Verna tells Don Emelio he’s not only a worthl*ss father but also a worthl£ss grandfather and Don Emelio said he never taught Joaquin to be a coward and give the victory to Cardo so she can keep dreaming.

JP also testified against Jacob for abducting him as everyone looks tensed in court.

Don Emelio calls Joaquin regarding Verna’s visit and tells him they need to be weary of Verna because he believes she will sell them out to the police one of this days and they need to be cautious because she could be the reason of their downfall. Joaquin tells his henchman to look for another place where they can meet up their clients and his mom will be there too because he has to keep an eye on her so he can only do that if she’s with him always keeping her busy or her conscience will only get the best of her.

Careon also testifies against Jacob and it’s looks like there’s no out for Jacob this time.

Verna meets Joaquin and his business partners. He introduces Verna to them and also tells them she will be in charge of their finances and if there’s any problems with the products delivery they can contact her and Verna just looks at him in shock.

At home, Grandma flora and the rest hope Jacob is convicted too so Joaquin can be caught.

Jacob takes the stand, he lies straight through his teeth that he was caught at the premises of the dr*g exchange because he went there to investigate and not because he’s part of a syndicate and he was working undercover that he exchanged gunfire with the CIDG because cardo has murder*ded a lot of people example Tomas, Joaquin and Chairman so he was only defending himself since he got terrified Cardo could do the same to him in other to seek r3venge and Cardo is a danger0us man.

Verna ask Joaquin why he brought her there and what he’s up to and she never said she will join his business but Joaquin said as they do business together they will always be together and she can protect him herself and it’s her job to face the clients for him now and it’s the two of them left so she should be careful and not get caught.
At home, the family discuss jacob’s lies and how surprising it all sounds.

Delfin visits Jacob and he reiterates it there is nothing to confess because he knows he’s innocent and it’s in the court’s hands now so they should wait and he will prove to them that he’s innocent.

Grandma flora believes they will all pay for their crimes. Jacob’s family visit him to convince him to cooperate with the authorities but he said he can get out of jail however his son tells him he doesn’t care if he is convicted or not and he doesn’t have a father and Jacob breakdown saying he only committed crim*s to give them a better life. His wife also tells him he won’t have a family waiting for him anymore as he cries.

Delfin visits Careon about his transfer to Belipe since he has nothing to contribute anymore and he accepts it. Jacob breaks down in his cell remembering his family’s word’s. He attacks an officer again but this shots himself.

Alyanna reports on Jacob’s suc!de as grandma flora and the family watch the news.

Delfin holds a meeting with his men and tells them Jacob never revealed Joaquin’s location until the very end and they all can’t believe he
k!lled himself therefore losing the only direct link to Joaquin. Delfin ask for options to help apprehend Joaquin.

The family discuss Jacob’s su!cide and they just can’t believe another link to Joaquin is lost.

Back to the meeting, Cardo said Verna is also involved and she’s the only one who can tell them where Joaquin is so they need to bring her in immediately for questioning.

Verna watches as the kids cry for help and Joaquin telling his henchman to get more kids and he needs to make up for his loses so he should a3duct only the healthy children.

Cardo informs grandma flora about their plan for Verna and she hopes Verna cooperates.

Verna watches as the kids are treated badly and she’s horrified. She visits the kids and Joaquin kicks her out to not go near any of the kids or talk to them.

Cardo and Alyanna discuss Jacob’s suic!de and Verna been their last card to Joaquin and cardo believes they will get her to confess this time.

Cardo and his friends visit Verna with an official letter inviting her to the CIDG and she said she won’t go without a legitimate warrant of arrest and that paper isn’t enough so they tell her if she doesn’t go with them now ones they come back again they will have an arrest warrant, Verna reaffirms the fact that her son is dead and we ended as she agrees to go with them.
