Ellen Comes Close To Getting Caught. Lily Plans To Use Lito Against Renato. Albert & His Team Pay The Mante Family A Visit, Unknowingly Stirring Up Trouble With Cardo & His Group.
Ellen shows Mariano the thrëâtening message and photo she had received anonymously, worried that her husband could find out about their affair. She suspects that Lily could be behind everything. Mariano isn’t the least bit bothered, overly confident that Lily can no longer beat him at his game.
This makes Ellen somewhat irritated. In the meantime, Lia hangs out with the guys at the dining table, talking to them about their situation as well as the strange issue regarding her father. Speaking of, Fernando whines to his wife over the confiscated phones.
Cassandra pulls another stunt by sending a gift bag to Arturo’s office with Ellen’s name on it. Having no shame, Albert goes with his men to the Mante residence to give the family false hope. Diana alerts Cardo and the others once she sees the officers talking to Lia’s parents, prompting everyone to stay on high alert.
Arturo makes Ellen open the bag to find a box and in it contains the bracelet he had given her for their last anniversary. Ellen gets all jittery and comes up with a flimsy excuse to cover up why she had lost it. Once Albert and his men leave, Cardo storms over angrily to go and confront Fernando.
Ramil delivers a sucker punch. The Mantes try to assure the group that they hadn’t ratted them out and Cardo orders for the place to be secured. Later, Lia questions her father about the things Cardo had said before regarding a daughter of his they had rescued. Fernando blatantly denies it.
Following an unfriendly encounter with Cassandra, Ellen goes to whine to Mariano about how she’s been working with Lily. Mariano defends Cassandra and refuses to believe Ellen’s claims. Ellen then gives him a piece of her mind and it doesn’t take long before she starts føøling around with him on the bed.
Lily has a talk with Arturo about her plan to use Lito to bring down Renato. Arturo indulges her as he couldn’t care less if they end up k!lling each other – his sole objective is to get his revenge against our favorite hero. Lia reasons with Cardo and the group and manages to convince them to return their phones so that her family can get back to their jobs.
Ultimately, a couple of the guys express their concerns for the well-being of the group against their powerful enemies, worried that they might not survive their next encounter. The episode concludes as Cardo looks on solemnly.
