Eloy Regains His Freedom & Gains A New Ally In His Quest For The Truth. Red Spies On Evangelista. Hugo Flies Into A Rage & Confronts Eloy Following A Concealed Discovery.
The episode picks up right from the last one where Ali apologizes profusely to Eloy for the accident that had led to a chain reaction of unfortunate incidents. Eloy states that it’s neither hers or her mother’s fault that he had ended up behind bars because some people have been plotting against his family all along.
Later, Eloy returns to the cell downcast. A moment later, he’s taken by surprise when he gets released on bail. The greater shock comes when Atty. Roma reveals that it was Hugo who had gotten him out on bail. Apparently, Jimmy had done it in Hugo’s stead because of something Bart had discovered.
While Red spies on Atty. Evangelista, Jill puts on a show of thanking Ali for her help in getting her job back. Evangelista meets up with Helena at a restaurant to talk to her about Eloy’s release, it’s implications and their plans. Red who had been tailing Evangelista lurks nearby and takes a photo.
Meanwhile, Ali goes to see Hugo in his study, only to learn that he had gone out with Jimmy and Bart. Eloy meets up with Rosales and Red to discuss the ongoing case and it’s connection to Fred and Hugo. They plan to dig up information on Hugo and Eloy reveals that there’s someone who could help them with that – the mysterious Hannah character.
Ali calls Badong on the phone to ask where he took grandpa Hugo, worried that he could get himself involved in something unhealthy. She’s surprised when she learns that Hugo and his buddies are at the cemetery. In the meantime, Rosales notes down how Hannah had wanted to send Hugo to jail.
Going by Eloy’s theories regarding Hugo’s suspected involvement in the car accident, Rosales speculates that it could have been his mother who was the intended target and not his father. When Daddy Ays and Tox learn of Eloy’s release, they come up with the idea of throwing a street party for him. Hugo returns with his buddies in a very foul mood and he orders Badong to drive them to Eloy’s house.
Speaking of, Eloy finally arrives home and reunites with his loved ones. Grandma Heart is surprised when she learns of how Hugo had bailed out her grandson and dismissed the charges against him. Ali is worried sick because she hasn’t heard from Badong for a while. Margie calls her on the phone to check up on her.
On speakerphone, Ali talks to her mother and sister about her conversation with Eloy earlier as well as their friendship. Heart and Eloy are equally confused with Hugo’s help, only for the old man to storm into the house, demanding for Eloy to tell him where Hannah is.
