Ramil Pays The Group A Visit. Mariano Buys Ambo’s Silence While Lily Continues To Scheme. Cardo & Task Force Agila Pull A Fast One On Arturo To Rescue Diana & Teddy.
The episode begins at the black ops headquarters where Lia and Villar are profiling our favorite hero. There are a series of flashbacks of Cardo’s several encounters with villains as a decorated officer of the law who had fought for justice. Lia concludes that he had died a criminal in the end.
Anyway, a couple of the guys express concern for Cardo and his plan and he declares that they have to take the risk if they’re to save their allies. Meanwhile, Arturo orders his men to prioritize the safety of his daughter first before eliminating Cardo and his group. Lily who has contrary plans of her own lurks nearby.
Having the Palace to himself, Mariano takes Ellen to the living room to go and make out with her on the sofa. Ambo is appalled when he catches them in the act. It doesn’t take long for Ellen to spot him and run off. Mariano then comes over and makes him promise not to tell Lily or anyone else about what he saw. Ramil shows up at the hideout and begins showing off.
After blabbering some nonsense to Greco and the others, he proceeds inside to extend the help of his new boss to rescue Diana and Teddy. Of course Cardo bluntly refuses so Ramil taunts him with how he would probably fail. Virgie also bothers us with another round of her blasted nagging. Ellen worries that she would be in hot waters when Ambo makes public her infidelity.
Mariano assures her that that won’t happen because he’s taken care of it. Elizabeth is bothered by Ambo’s sudden strange behavior and her efforts to make him fess up proves futile. While Cardo and Task Force Agila are on their way to San Marcelo, Lily calls Augustus on the phone to check up on the situation at the Palace.
In the meantime, Mariano talks to Ambo again to remind him to keep his secret. He gives him some money as a token of their so-called friendship. Ramil returns to Lito to report his findings. Lily and Arturo have the captives tied up to be taken to the rendezvous place.
Cardo and the group cautiously make their way through the dense forest and they eventually arrive at the meeting spot by the shore, having tied up Clarisse with a sack over her head. Arturo shows up with his men and the captives while Lily and her minions lurk nearby.Cardo faces Art from a distance, locked and loaded while Tadpole and a few others begin planting bømbs somewhere in the forest.
As Lily continues to observe, she mentions that Cardo is an expert in cheating dëâth but she’s confident that he and his group won’t be able to get out of their situation this time since she’s deployed dozens of her henchmen against them. She calls the head goon to confirm that they’re all in position.
In the meantime, Cardo agrees to trade Clarisse for Diana and once that’s done, Arturo holds Teddy at güñpoint to taunt team Cardo while one of his men unties Clarisse. When the sack is taken off the head, we see Roxanne glaring back. Before the enemy can react, the major pulls her güñ on Arturo. Cardo calls out the actual Clarisse and Arturo looks on in disbelief to realize that he’s been outsmarted.
