Macoy Steals Again & Gets Caught. Jerome Dissuades Cardo’s Suspicions. Lily Schemes Against Arturo. Alyana Strives To Cope With What She Had Done.
Lily talks with Augustus about Mariano’s spectacular performance recently and she takes delight in it. The talk turns to his affair with Padua’s wife and Lily plans to make sure that Arturo doesn’t find out. In the meantime, Mariano gloats over how he’s become used to playing the president.
The fraud plans to use his manipulative and deceptive skills to get Ellen back. Macoy decides to go and swipe some more money from his boss in order to complete his savings. He sneaks into the mansion and after stealing the money, he bumps into Billy who raises the alarm.
Roxanne comes over and when questioned, Macoy claims that he had come to do something for Lito and since nothing is found missing or out of place, they resolve to let him go. Elizabeth and Ambo recount the encounter with “the president” to James who can’t help but to be amazed. Cardo broods by himself and when Jerome joins him, he brings up how strange it was for Alyana to suddenly stop working for Lito.
He also notes that there seems to be something different about Alyana and Lito and Jerome tries to convince him that he’s probably mistaken and there’s no cause for alarm. At the drug lab, Hipolito and Jacob take sick pleasure in tormenting Mr. Calavera in an attempt to ascertain whether Lito is a trusted business partner. Renato vows to deal with Calavera should Lito betray them.
James calls Diana to set up a meeting with her and Teddy in order to inform them of what had happened with “Oscar” and Lily. Nagging Virgie begins with her ranting as usual. Alyana reflects on how Cardo had scolded her on account of her dressing as well as how Lito had spoiled her.
She breaks down and can only hope that her husband will be able to forgive her. Renato resolves to form a good relationship with Lily in spite of their differences since she’s the one on the seat of power. Ellen lingers outside the presidential room and when Mariano sees her, he approaches her and tries to make out with her. Ellen resists but allows him to take her to his room.
While Lily keeps Arturo company and puts on a show of being concerned about his problems, Ellen gives Mariano some ground rules regarding their affair.Most importantly, he’s not allowed to ki$$ her when his breath stinks of alcohol. Cardo prepares some porridge for his grandpa to help speed up his recovery.
Lily gloats over Arturo not knowing what his wife has been doing behind his back. She plans to continue making Mariano happy so he would be motivated to do his best. Having freshened up, Mariano goes back to bed to join Ellen and they begin making out. Lily contacts Renato to tell him that he’s about to leave with Arturo for the drug lab.
Nagging Virgie begins with her ranting and trash talking of our favorite hero as it’s become her habit. Teddy tries in vain to talk some sense into her. Meanwhile, Lito gloats over how he’s erased all of Cardo’s doubts about him and earned his trust by saving his grandpa. He declares that now he’s free to take Alyana away from him for good.
