David & Jill Strive To Deal With The Scandal Involving Their Son. Gio Snaps & Causes More Trouble. David Plans To Send Him Abroad.
The episode begins with the meeting between Jill and David and Grace (Mika’s mother). With Gio’s video having gone viral, Grace states that the only way she would let the matter go is only if they transfer their son to another school.
Jill and David strive in vain to convince Grace to reach an alternate solution and after she leaves, they discuss Grace’s terms. David is all for Gio transferring school in order to salvage the situation but Jill objects to the idea.
In no time, she receives a phone call from Gabi, telling her that her son has been dismissed as team captain. Jill blames David for how things had turned out. Later at night, Jill notices someone lurking outside her house but she doesn’t really see who it is. The next morning, she calls David to question him and he denies it.
Gio decides to cause a ruckus at home by gathering up some of his personal belongings, sports related, and burning them up on the balcony. Lexy and the house staff are terrified. When David questions his son, the little man declares that he’s quitting basketball as if he has a choice. At Pine Hill Hospital, Dr. Claire doesn’t pass up the chance to taunt Jill with her neverending problems.
Jill indulges her all the same. Lexy pays David a visit at the office to tell him that she’s no longer comfortable with his son living with them. David assures Lexy that Gio isn’t mental or crãzy, though they both agree that he needs help. Later at home, Fred ridicules David on account of his son’s destructive behavior.
David takes the scolding and taunting in good faith and a moment later, he goes to his son’s room to dish out a scolding of his own. He reprimands him for his behavior and states that he needs professional help; he has to see a psychologist. Gio takes offense at this, asking if he also thinks that he’s crazy.
Jill returns home that night to meet a nasty surprise waiting for her; David enjoying wine in her living room. When she asks how he had gotten in, he reveals that he had made a duplicate of Gio’s keys. Gio is unsettled when David and Lexy tell him that everything has been put in place for him to be transferred to a school in Virginia.
Without wasting time, he decides to sneak outside the house with his stuff and he heads over to Mika’s place to apologize to her for the things he had done. He then leaves and as he’s wandering around, he comes across his mother. Jill quickly gets out of her car to go and hug him.
When she asks what the matter is, Gio tells her that he’s left his dad because he’s planning to send him away. The Luceros realize a little too late that the infamous little man is missing. In the meantime, Jill takes Gio home to go and prepare dinner for him. David soon shows up to confront her. He forces his way inside where Gio is and the episode concludes as they stare at each other.
