Jill Makes A Scene As She Confronts The Luceros. Gio’s Resentment Intensifies. David Will Stop At Nothing To Fulfill His Wicked Plans.
Jill lingers outside the Lucero residence up till the point where her son is dropped off at the gate by a taxi. She watches as he sneaks into the house. When Gio sees Lexy standing on the balcony, he lingers outside until she goes inside. Jill follows him from a distance as he goes.
Gio then sneaks into the house and straight up into his room, and Jill observes him for a while through the window on the top floor. Later, she meets up with Diane somewhere to talk about the sudden change in her son which she can’t seem to understand. Diane offers to help but Jill wants to find out for herself what’s really going on inside the Lucero mansion.
In the meantime, David questions Gio of what he’s been up to. The boy merely apologizes when he’s caught in his lies.The next morning, Jill receives a phone call from the school principal, telling her to come and see her at her office. Mika has found Gio at the arcade and she strives to get him to open up to her about what’s going on.
Gio laments over not feeling welcome at the mansion, adding that he can’t go back to his mother because of coach Gabi. Also, because she doesn’t want him. Mika tries in vain to talk some sense into him as Enzo observes nearby with sinister intentions. At the school, the principal tells Jill and David about their son’s absenteeism and how to deal with the situation.
After the meeting, Jill asks David if everything’s fine at the mansion and when he gets home, he has a talk with Lexy on the matters. Jill reaches out to Mika to ask about her son and comes to learn of how Nathalia and Fred had scolded him before. That night, David catches Gio sneaking back into the house and he gives him a talking-to and charges him to never miss school or basketball practice again.
Also, they’ll be having lunch with the Luceros tomorrow so he has to be on his best behavior. Dinner with the Luceros goes on as planned and David makes it a point reconcile his son with them. Gio supports his move by apologizing also apologizing for their falling out. A moment later, Jill confronts the Luceros outside over how they’ve been treating her son.
An altercation ensues and as the scene unfolds, she tries to take her son with her since he isn’t welcomed at the mansion. Gio acts out and refuses to leave with his mother. Jill is left standing there dejectedly like something. That night, Jill returns to old habits as she goes to a bar to drink away her sorrows and misery.
Dr. Claire shows up out of nowhere and joins her at her table. As Jill laments over the things David has taken away from her, she can’t help but to feel sorry for her. In the meantime, David and Lexy have an argument over Gio’s stay at the mansion. Lexy worries that Jill will never leave them in peace as long as Gio continues to stay there.
Gio who’s been listening in all along sneaks out of the house to go to the arcade. He hangs outside when he finds the place closed and Enzo finds him and urges him to cover over to his place for a gaming tournament. The next day in school, Mika finds Gio asleep in the stands and when she wakes him, he throws a fit, blaming her for making things worse by telling his mother of him getting scolded by the Lucero.
Gio continues to treat Jill with resentment upon running into her on his way out. Later, Grace has a talk with Jill about her desire to keep their children apart so that her daughter won’t be caught up in her family’s problems. David meets Claire for updates on his evil schemes against Jill.
