Jill Recovers & Refuses To Compromise. David Gives Into His Wife’s Demands; He Becomes Homeless & Penniless. Lexy Asks Her Parents For Help.
The episode begins with Jill regaining consciousness to find her son asleep by her bedside. She caresses his hair and when he wakes up, he begins fretting over her. Gio breaks down as he apologizes for all the nasty things he said to her before. He promises to never leave her and Jill consoles him.
David is visited by his mother in prison and she urges him to stop with his madness because he’s already done enough damage. David bluntly refuses to back down until he gets custody of his son. In the meantime, Lexy goes home to ask her mother for help to bail her løver boy out of prison but she turns her down.
Carol visits Jill to check up on her and assure her that she would take in Gio while she’s still recovering. Charlie goes to see David in prison and the scumbag throws a fit when he lectures him on how he had assaulted his wife. Later, Mrs. Marina pays Jill a visit at the hospital to apologize to her on behalf of her miserable son. She urges Jill to drop the charges against David and she gives her the silent treatment.
In the meantime, Lexy decides to gather her bags and jewelry to sell them alongside her apartment in order to raise the money needed to bail her løver boy out of prison. Attorney Dante comes to see Jill at the hospital to talk about the annulment and she makes it clear that she won’t compromise; she wants David’s lawyer contacted so that they can end things once and for all.
David will get absolutely nothing from the settlement.David receives a visit from his lawyer and he’s compelled to agree to Jill’s conditions in order to get out of jail. Jill gets emotional when her lawyer calls to inform her of the good news. Lexy shows up at the prison to pick up David.
David is eager to go home but then he’s taken by surprise when Lexy tells him that they don’t have a home to go to any longer. Soon enough, Jill is discharged from the hospital and Carol brings her and her son home. She offers to stay for a while to keep them company but Jill thanks her, saying that they can manage on their own.
After Carol leaves, Jill takes off her engagement and wedding rings and dumps them in a box. Meanwhile, David brings Lexy to his mother’s place and they receive a warm welcome. The next day, David goes to his office to announce to his staff that he’s closing down the company because he’s bankrupt and completely broke. Jill dines with Diane and they do a little catching up at home.
Nathalia is appalled to learn of how her daughter had pawned off all her jewelry and apartment to raise money to bail David out of prison. She calls Lexy to meet up for a talk. While Jill resumes with her medical missions, David tags along with Lexy to her home. The Illustres welcome their daughter before Fred begins to taunt and make mockery of David, even labeling him as garbage.
David doesn’t feel welcome there so he gets up to leave and Lexy decides to go with him. Nathalia hurries out to offer them a place to live. Once school is over, David shows up and tries to talk to his son and Gio actually scolds him. He declares that he and his mother don’t need him anymore.
