Jill Exposes David & Lexy’s Affair. Mr. Lucero Flies Into A Rage. Lexy Is Kicked Out. David’s Life Goes From Bad To Worse, Compelling Him To Take Drastic Action.
Jill decides to leave Jose’s place and go back home to take care of unfinished business. During the long-awaited dinner date with the Luceros, she puts on a quite remarkable performance and takes pleasure in exposing David and Lexy’s affair with such flair. The revelation of Lexy’s abortion makes matters worse.
Enraged beyond measure, Mr. Lucero flies into a rage and deals with David with such ferocity, with Jill taking delight with the unfolding events. Lexy strives to convince her father to consent to her illicit relationship. Fred threatens to disown his daughter; appalled with her actions, he proceeds to kick her out of the mansion when she refuses to put an end to her affair.
Jill decides to go ahead with the annulment after David chooses his mistress over her. She’s left with no other choice but to let go and start over with her son. She puts her mother-in-law in her place when she gets out of line. David moves out of his matrimonial home to go and be with his mistress.
In spite of Natalia’s grievances, Fred cuts ties with Lexy and also cuts off her financial support. Gio is deeply affected when he gets wind of the situation of his family. After Jill tells him the disheartening truth, he seeks solace in his two closest friends. Mr. Lucero declares war on David and begins to make his life miserable; Jill is revealed to be the mastermind.
David’s business partnership with the Luceros begins to suffer on account of his falling out with Fred. While Lexy strives to make peace with her father, David takes out his anger on Charlie upon learning of what had happened between him and his wife.
Following several futile attempts to convince Jill to drop the annulment petition, David resolves to play dirty; he makes deliberate attempts to win over Gio and convince him to choose him over his mother. Lexy gladly looks forward to marrying David as soon as the annulment is finalized.
When she has an encounter with Jill, Jill gives her a reality check and she soon begins to get weary. For the sake of her daughter, Natalia tries to make a deal with Jill to leave Baguio for good. Meanwhile, David learns of his wife’s mental breakdown before and he shamelessly decides to use it against her in order to obtain sole custody of their son.
