A moment later, she calls Jill on the phone to inform her of how her husband had shown up at the airport too late to stop Lexy. Later that night, David returns home drunk and even more miserable.
Jill finds him asleep on the couch and she merely stares. The next morning, she prepares breakfast and proceeds to question her miserable husband of his whereabouts last night.David claims he had been stuck at the office dealing with an issue there and Jill indulges him.
With the other woman now out of the picture, Sandy urges Jill to fix her marriage with her husband and forgive him, and Jill is like how can she when the jerk hasn’t even apologized and admitted to his infidelity. Jill goes to see attorney Dante to discuss her annulment. She resolves to tell her son about it first before she signs the papers.
Somewhere in the states, Lexy goes to a clinic presumably to push through with the abortion procedure. David has trouble at the office and he resolves to take drastic measures to solve his problems. In the meantime, Fred has a talk with his wife about his weariness for David and the mess he’s made.
Later, David meets up with Charlie to discuss his falling out and separation from Lexy. He returns home as miserable as before, only for his brother to call Jill and give her the bad news – their mother has been admitted at the hospital after suffering a heart attack. In no time, the Illustre family arrives at the hospital while CPR is being performed on Mrs. Marina.
Fortunately, she’s stabilized and transferred from the ICU to a private room. David gets pretty torn up over his mother’s condition and Jill looks on so silently as he stays by her side, sobbing. Later, Jill calls attorney Dante to inform him that she’s changed her mind and would no longer be leaving her husband.
Fortunately, Mrs. Marina begins to recover and the Illustre couple decide to take her home with them since she would be undergoing therapy. Soon enough, Marina is discharged and brought home and the entire family dine together in harmony. Jill later meets Sandy at work to talk to her about her decision to move on in spite of the fact that she hadn’t talked things out with David.
Sandy can only hope for the best as Jill is inclined to believe that Lexy is gone for good and won’t be coming back. Jill goes to see a patient of hers, only to find out that he had left without seeing her. She’s then prompted by her assistant to check her social media handle where she sees nasty comments people had posted about her.

Once they meet up, they talk about Carol’s marital problems – Charlie supposedly having another affair. When Carol asks Jill what she found out about her suspicions of David, Jill lies through her teeth, claiming that she found nothing. Carol says she wanted to talk to her because Charlie had denied having an affair when she confronted him.Jill states that she can’t help her because it’s only her husband who can tell her the truth.
She then excuses herself to go to the washroom where she calls Charlie to inform him of his wife’s suspicions. Jill wants to tell Carol the truth of what had happened between them and Charlie strives to talk her out of it. Eventually, Jill gives Charlie an ultimatum; if he doesn’t show up in ten minutes time to talk to his wife, then she would tell her the truth herself. The episode concludes as Jill sets a timer on her phone.
