Lexy Takes Her Parents By Surprise. Diane Befriends Her In Order To Spy On Her. Lexy Gives David An Ultimatum. Jill Makes It Her Mission To Ascertain Her Family’s Financial State.
The Lucero family dine together and Lexy surprises her parents when she announces that she would no longer be going to the states because she has something important to take care of. Fred asks if there’s a problem and Lexy merely says that she just doesn’t feel like going abroad anymore.
In the meantime, Jill asks Diane to try to befriend Lexy and find out what’s going on with her relationship with David. A moment later at the house complex, Lexy has a dizzy spell after getting out of her car. Diane shows up out of nowhere to offer a helping hand, thereby making friends with her with ease. She poses as a pregnant woman herself who also lives at the place.
Charlie hangs out with David at a bar and he’s exasperated and surprised to learn of Lexy’s pregnancy. Meanwhile, Jill sneaks into David’s office and she searches the place and finds some documents which she takes photos of. Grace almost catches her in the act.
Diane carries on her performance and takes it to the next level by moving into the unit near Lexy’s. She invites her over to hang out and they converse some more. Upon arriving home, Jill questions her husband about the financial documents she had found and he lies through his teeth as usual.
Later while David sleeps, a bitter Jill douses him with gasoline, lights a match and laughs wickedly as he burns together with the bed. At a point, David opens his eyes, reaches out to his wife and calls her repeatedly. Jill snaps out of her delusion to stare down at her miserable husband.
David then goes back to sleep suddenly and Jill goes outside to take a breather. Charlie finds her brooding alone and after a talk with her, he heads inside to go and romance his wife. The next morning, David visits Lexy at her condo and as they dine together, they discuss how to deal with her pregnancy.
Lexy is open to head to the states to go and give birth there but she doesn’t want them to continue hiding their relationship and the baby when she returns. She gives David an ultimatum – if he’s not left his wife by tomorrow, she would pack up and leave and do whatever the hell she wants with the baby.
In the meantime, Jill goes to see attorney Dante to tell him of her findings and he counsels her on how to deal with the situation. At the Alustre residence, Jill has breakfast with Gio and when David joins them, she begins with her taunting antics while discussing plans for their son’s college.
Later, the groundbreaking of David’s project with the Luceros commences. At the event, Jill asks Sandy to find out David’s plans regarding his pregnancy with Lexy. Following the conclusion of the ceremony, David discusses business with Mr. Lucero and then a phone call comes in.
Fred is amazed to see him with two phones and when he questions him about it, he claims that one is for business and the other one is for personal use. Ironically, it turns out that it’s Lexy who had been trying to call him. The woman is pretty pissed as she waits in her condo in the company of her friend Justin.
In the meantime, Jill asks Charlie about her joint investments with her husband in an attempt to figure out the state of their finances. Charlie is reluctant to divulge the information she wants so she asks him out to dinner to talk. Later that night, Jill dresses to k!ll for a supposed business meeting, drawing her husband’s attention.
She meets Carol on her way who compliments how good she looks. Diane brings Lexy a bottle of liquid for prevention of stretch marks, and Lexy invites her over to talk. Meanwhile, Jill meets up with Charlie at a restaurant and she begins flirting with him, saying that they have a lot of things to talk about.
