Alejandra Plots To Get Rid Of Kristine Permanently. Joyce Plots A Counterattack To Turn The Tables. Noel Returns To Reunite With Kristine.
Kristine arrived at the house and Lourdes told her that Noel had been there to see her but left as soon as he learnt that Kristine had gone out with Gani. Kristine said it was fine that she had missed him because he would only complicate things and there were thing she needed to do on her own.
Lourdes asked what they were and Kristine told her all about her plans with Joyce to bring down Alejandra. She also asked her not to tell what she had said to anyone, not knowing that Leslie had listened in on the entire conversation.
Alejandra and her small party were going home and she asked Joyce not to worry about Ronaldo anymore since their little truce was over. Alejandra was upset that Ronaldo had only defended her so that she would not retaliate for what Kristine had done to her that evening.Later, Joyce and Lawrence were going down for dinner and Lawrence asked Joyce to go ahead as he went to get his phone in the room.
As Joyce was going down the stairs, she overheard Salve, Hannah and Alejandra talking. Alejandra was still upset that Kristine was the reason why she and Ronaldo were not getting along and Hannah suggested that they get rid of her. Madam Salve said she would take care of it and Kristine would be back in jail by the end of the week.
She asked Hannah to join her and Joyce had to go up the stairs so that they wouldn’t see her. As she ran up the stairs, she ran into Lawrence who was going down. The two walked in the room together and Alejandra asked them if they had been there the whole time. Joyce said that they had just gotten down.
Joyce called Kristine later and warned her that Alejandra was planning something against her for embarrassing her at the party. She noted that she would keep her posted once she found out what it was. Gani went to see Noel at his house and Noel punched him in the face for taking his girl after he had trusted him.
Gani told him that nothing was going on between him and Kristine and if Noel wanted to clarify things, they would go see Kristine. Noel was very upset and blamed Gani for losing Kristine but Gani told Noel that it was all his fault that he had lost her and he should not go around blaming him.
The following day, Gani took Noel to see Kristine but Kristine wanted nothing to do with him. She actually told him to leave.It was Gani who interceded and told Kristine that Noel was the reason she had been released from prison, adding that he had gotten shot while stealing the evidence, which was why he had disappeared.
That put Noel back into Kristine’s good graces and they were back to being civil. Noel apologized to Gani for punching him because he had been jealous. Kristine told Noel that he had no reason to feel jealous because there was nothing but friendship between her and Gani.
Gani left the two of them and went to spill his feelings for Kristine to his mother instead. She advised him to tell Kristine how he felt and let her chose who she wanted to be with. Joyce easily found out about Alejandra’s plan to bring down Kristine when Alejandra called her and Lawrence in her office to show them.
It was a video of a man confessing that Kristine had paid her to steal the evidence from the prosecution office. Joyce said she was glad that the video had been found so that she could finally get justice. Lawrence wanted to take the video to the authorities immediately so that Kristine’s case could continue but Alejandra told him to wait since she wanted to release the video at her own convenient timing.
Joyce readily agreed to this since it gave her sufficient time to copy it and plan on how to counter Alejandra. Joyce copied the video to her phone later then texted Kristine and asked her to meet her. She turned down dinner at her house, telling Lawrence and Alejandra that she was going to eat at Imelda’s house instead. Joyce met with Kristine, who arrived with Noel at the church.
Kristine had already explained to Noel that she and Joyce were working together to bring Alejandra down. They now told Joyce that it was Noel who had stolen the evidence and so Joyce showed them Alejandra’s video. Noel said he would take care of the man in the video so that he could recount his statement and Kristine would not have to return to jail.
Lawrence called Joyce to ask her where she was and so Joyce had to leave. Joyce arrived at Imelda’s house to find a very upset Lawrence. He had arrived at Imelda’s house to find Joyce not there and thus demanded to know where she was and why she had lied. Joyce told him that she had gone to the church for confession and since she had not planned for it, she had not told him.
Lawrence believed her somehow and they patched things up. Alejandra had also asked Joyce to talk to Jason about his involvement with Leslie so Joyce asked Jason to stay away from her. Noel asked Gani to get him details of the man in the video but he did not tell him the reason why.
