Kristine Faces Off With Rigor’s Sister. An Altercation Ensues At The Bail Hearing. Noel Is Shocked To Learn Of Joyce’s Marriage With Lawrence. Joyce Relocates With Her Husband To Alejandra’s House.
Alejandra tried to attåçk Joyce in front of Lawrence and Lawrence had to tell her that he was not going to let her hurt Joyce and if she did, he would soon forget that she was his mother. Joyce was in an awkward situation, so she left the two of them and ran off into another room but continued to listen in on them. Lawrence tried to go after her but Alejandra stopped him.
She went down on her knees and continued to beg Lawrence to leave Joyce and go back home with her. She suggested that they could talk to Lawrence’s godfather so that he could have their marriage annulled. Lawrence helped her up and told Alejandra that he løved her but he was not going to give up on his wife. He told her that even if they got separated, he was still going to find his way back to Joyce because he løved her.
He asked Alejandra to be happy for him instead but all Alejandra could do was whine about how Ronaldo had left her and now Lawrence was doing the same. She finally left after making no leeway with Lawrence and went home to cry to her mother. Georgina was still threatening Kristine with her scissors but she let her go, claiming that Kristine was only pretending to be nice.
She also said that no wonder people wanted to hurt her but when Kristine asked her to clarify what she had said, Georgina demanded that she go away and so Kristine left. Georgina got Rigor on the phone to tell him that she wanted to know who was behind the job she had done of harassing Kristine but Rigor did not want to talk so he hurriedly said that Georgina should be patient and wait, adding that the person who wanted Kristine harassed was the person who had filed charges against her.
Kristine had not left and was actually listening in. She sneaked behind Georgina, grabbed her and asked who was paying her. Georgina repeated exactly what Rigor had said and Kristine immediately though that it was Joyce. She went and told Noel and her lawyer about it.
The lawyer promised to talk to the warden so that Kristine would transfer cells and was not harassed anymore while Noel expressed his disappointment in Joyce. Alejandra went to see Ronaldo to tell him to help her talk to Lawrence so that he would not leave. Ronaldo told her that she would only push Lawrence away if she kept nagging at him, so he advised her to let Lawrence go. Alejandra told Ronaldo that all he knew how to do was give up on everything but she would never give up on her son.
Joyce and Lawrence were packing up to leave for abroad but Joyce saw how miserable Lawrence was after his misunderstanding with his mother so she removed her clothes from the suitcase and told him that she was willing to try and win his mother’s affection again, reasoning that it was Ronaldo who had hurt her and not Alejandra.
Lawrence asked Joyce if she was sure of it and she said she was, so they went back to Manila.Alejandra was about to do an interview for her political campaign but she broke down because of her issue with Lawrence and they had to reschedule. She was crying at home about Lawrence leaving when he and Joyce walked in.
Alejandra was not happy seeing Joyce there but her mother talked to her and told her if she wanted Lawrence to stay with her, she had to pretend to get along with Joyce. Alejandra took the advice well, welcomed Lawrence back and even hugged Joyce. The four of them sat down to have dinner and Alejandra suggested that the two of them move in with her since the house was big enough and Lawrence’s condo was not good enough for a married couple.
Lawrence and Joyce left and were talking about Alejandra’s offer. Joyce tried to escape it but Lawrence argued that it was a good idea so that Joyce and Alejandra could get to know each other.It was then that Noel arrived with accusations about how Joyce was harassing Kristine in jail. Joyce said she did not know what Noel was talking about but Noel continued to accuse her, talking of what a bad person she had become.
Joyce slapped him but Lawrence stepped in between them and had to beat up Noel after he told Joyce that she would have to deal with him if she hurt Kristine again. Lawrence finished the blow by telling Lawrence not to threaten his wife and Noel’s focus shifted. He asked if the two had gotten married and it was Joyce who answered him. She told him that she had married Lawrence and she was glad that Kristine was getting harassed in jail.
Noel went to have a drink with his lawyer friend who asked him whether he was upset about Kristine being harassed or Joyce getting married.Noel said he did not care about Joyce and that he was glad he had not chosen her. We moved to Kristine’s hearing where she had asked for bail but her petition was denied because she still posed a danger to the victim. Kristine was distraught because she had hoped to get out of prison.
She made matters worse by throwing a glass of water at Joyce and telling Lawrence that marrying Joyce was the worst mistake that he had made. Joyce told Kristine that if her father was not going to pay for his crime, she would. The lawyer apologized to Kristine for losing the petition for bail but promised her that Joyce would lose the next time they were in court.
Joyce and Lawrence were leaving to go and stay with Alejandra and Imelda warned Lawrence against letting Alejandra hurt Joyce. Alejandra welcomed Joyce and Lawrence well and Lawrence was so happy that he later made a glass of Juice and took it to Alejandra.
