Flora Visits Delfin. Cardo Continues His Personal Mission. Teddy Makes A Disturbing Discovery. Lily Connives With Arturo To Eliminate Cardo.
Cardo expresses his upmost appreciation to Miguel for agreeing to help him out with his investigation. When he sets eyes on a motorbike at the makeshift garage, Miguel gladly lends it to him so he can use it on his missions. In no time, our favorite hero rides the bike on the road in style.
Meanwhile, Arturo wraps up his meeting with Dela Cruz and when he brings up his relationship with Cardo, the miserable officer runs his mouth and gives him too much unnecessary information, even going to the extent of mentioning his suspension and fight with another officer.
The miserable bank manager calls Hipolito and laments over how Cardo had confronted and threatened her. Renato tries to calm her down and asks that they meet up. Grandma Flora visits her brother at the detention center of the CIDG and she talks to him about his case and who could be behind his misfortune.
Delfin names Lily and Flora blabbers about how she’s never been comfortable with the jezebel since day one. Anyway, Flora goes ahead to encourage her brother not to lose hope. Hipolito meets with Dominguez the miserable bank manager and he makes it a point to calm her fears, stating that she has nothing to fear since Cardo has no solid evidence against her.
He then threatens to get rid of her family should she betray them. Unknowingly, Teddy happens to be spying and taking photos of their interaction from a safe distance. He begins to wonder about Hipolito’s connection to Dominguez. Flora wraps up her visit and bids an emotional goodbye to her brother.
Arturo returns to the Palace to announce that Delfin stands a high chance of being convicted because the evidence against him is damning. Lily is delighted and so is the dumb president. Later, Arturo has a talk with Lily about the frame-up of Delfin, worried that the miserable fake witnesses could get cold feet and back out.
On this note, Lily decides to cook up another scheme – they would frame up our favorite hero and get him arrested so he can reunite with his beloved grandpa in prison.Cardo tracks down the rotten accountant somewhere in town and he lies in wait while he goes about his illegal business.
Once the scumbag sets off for home, Cardo tails him and soon confronts him with a vengeance, beating him up along with his men. Arturo calls Captain Raymundo (the officer Cardo had fought) with on phone to make him a generous offer he can’t refuse. In the meantime, Cardo returns home later that night and when Alyana learns of what he’s been up to, she tries to dissuade him from carrying on.
She whines about how his actions could put their family in danger. Cardo justifies his actions and refuses to stop, saying that he can’t stay idle and watch his grandpa rot in jail for a crime he didn’t commit. Arturo meets up with Raymundo and offers him a mission to frame Cardo for a generous reward. The rotten officer gladly accepts.
Yolly finds Alyana crying by herself and when she learns of her fallout with her husband, she consoles her and tries to reason with her. Teddy informs his wife about the startling discovery he had chanced upon and Virgie begins with her drama. On phone, Hipolito notifies Lily of how Cardo had tracked down the accountant and threatened him.
Since they no longer need him, Lily decides to get rid of him for good. Captain Raymundo manages to get his dirty hands on the officially issued güñ of our favorite hero and he calls Arturo to notify him. Teddy calls Diana to inform her of the new information he had found out about the blasted bank manager.
He urges her to meet him at a particular cafe with Cardo. Once off the phone, Diana calls James to arrange a meetup with him. She then proceeds to interrupt breakfast to tell Cardo about Teddy’s message. In the meantime, Raymundo delivers Cardo’s official güñ to Arturo who gloats over how he would use it to bring down our favorite hero.
Hipolito has a talk with Jacob about the situation on ground, whining about how Cardo can never bring him down because he’s always a step ahead and the unknown mastermind of everything going on. Meanwhile, Diana regroups with James and Cardo at the cafe and Teddy reveals the actual mastermind of Delfin’s frame-up – Renato Hipolito.
Cardo is shocked, even as he stares at the photos featuring Hipolito and Dominguez the bank manager. Ironically, Hipolito continues to run his big mouth, saying that Cardo and his camp are chasing the wrong lead because they don’t know that he’s their real enemy.Read Next Episode on Brothers Episode 556
