Peterson Is Enraged When He Loses In The Election. Tupe & His People Are Delighted With His Misfortune. Rita Suffers The Full Brunt Of Her Husband’s Frustrations.
Tupe observes silently as the captain and the others gladly dine together. Paulina comes over to check up on him and ask if he’s still not over Rita and wants to continue seeing her. Tupe says he no longer has any reason to see her anymore and Paulina is glad to hear that.
At campaign headquarters, Peterson celebrates with Olivia and the rest of their team when the partial results of the election is reported on TV. Back at the hospital, Tupe and his people aren’t pleased to learn that Peterson is leading with a huge gap.
The captain gets all worked up and after talking on phone to a friend of hers who works at city hall, she keeps her companions in suspense when they urge her to tell them what she had found out. In an interesting turn of events, it is revealed that the other party had overtaken Peterson and won the election.
Peterson gets pretty upset and he storms out of the office in a fit of rage to drive off by himself, leaving Olivia, Rita and everyone else worried. In the meantime, the captain gladly breaks the good news to Tupe and the others. They’re all happy that Peterson hadn’t gotten a seat in Congress.
Tupe talks to Simeon on phone and comes to know of Peterson’s outburst after he had lost in the election. Speaking of, Peterson sobs dramatically in front of a framed photo of his late father, whining about how he’s nothing but a loser – he had failed to deliver and make him proud.
Rita comes over and tries to get through to him, only for Peterson to take out his frustrations on her. While Tupe pays a visit to Margaret’s grave, Rita tries to convince her dear husband to stop his hunger strike and get something to eat. She brings him a cup of coffee and tries to convince him to go and eat.
A live interview is shown on TV – the newly elected congressman talks and gloats over his victory over an Alvarez. This ticks off Peterson who takes the cup of coffee from Rita and deliberately let’s it fall to the ground, breaking it into pieces. Peterson declares that he’s in no mood to eat after losing.
In the meantime, Kiko shows up with some flowers and he practices how he would give it to Hannah and confess his feelings for her. Tupe arrives on his motorbike and beholds the ridiculous scene. When he questions him, Kiko tries to cover up what his intentions really are.
Once Hannah shows up with her friend, Kiko gets all nervous and hands the flowers to Hannah’s friend instead, supposedly to celebrate eight months of working together. Tupe sees right through him and takes him aside to talk to him. Olivia tells Rita that she shouldn’t be surprised with the behavior of her son because he knows that she (Rita) had wanted him to lose.
Peterson continues to act out and constantly returned home drunk stüpïd. Rita tried to console him and got beaten up. When Peterson sobered up in the morning, he saw the bruises he had left on his dear wife and he apologized to her. Tupe and Hannah got along better.
Kiko hinted at his intention to court Hannah and told Tupe that he was working hard to try and finish college. Tupe let him renovate Hannah’s Tattoo shop and they surprised her. Tupe got closer with Paulina and he planned a friendly dinner to thank her for being there for her and helping Hannah market her shop.
Meanwhile, Peterson got excessively possessive and would not let Rita go anywhere alone. Rita had to escape from her body guards to help out a friend who was abused by her boyfriend.
