Cardo & Task Force Agila Begin Their Investigation On Lily & Mei Lin, Following New Year’s Eve. Lily Looks Forward To Have Oscar Under Her Control. Hipolito Cooks Up A Contingency Plan Against Lily.
Hipolito swears that he and Jacob would soon live like kings by using Lily to fulfill their ultimate agenda. He states that he has a lot of surprises in store for the new year, and that they would take over the drug trade and have control over the whole country by the time Oscar and Lily are no longer in power.
Jacob is equally delighted with everything. In the meantime, Cardo and his family, comrades (Juan/Lemuel inclusive) and neighbors alike gather at Flora’s Garden to have fun and celebrate New Year’s Eve. Soon enough, they begin to feast together.
At the Palace, President Hidalgo dines with Lily, just as everyone at Flora’s Garden make merry and celebrate some more when it clocks 12am, transition into the new year. Lily stares at Oscar and almost feels sorry for him because she knows she’s really a jezebel. Anyway, the first lady wakes up the dumb president with a ki$$ and makes him believe that she’s glad they’re together again.
During dinner, Cardo asks Alyana about how things are in the office and she tells him about the kidñappiñgs involving the white van. Our favorite then offers his assistance if need be. Hipolito decides to have a meeting with the leaders of the syndicates Lily had had business transactions with.
Speaking of, the jezebel barges into the office as the president is having a heartfelt conversation with his most trusted staff. She puts on a show of concern and professes her miserable løvë. The baffled look on the faces of Diana and Delfin as they behold the scene is priceless. Cardo regroups with his team at camp Crame to deliberate on their delicate mission.
He then informs them of the trouble back home, say the kidñappiñgs involving the white van. The members of Task Force Agila are more than ready to bring the crooks to justice. Meanwhile, Hipolito and Jacob meet with the syndicates heads to ask for their cooperation to gather evidence they could use against Lily.
A couple of them willingly oblige but then one in particular refuses and begins lashing out at Renato, accusing him of being a traitor since he had already k!lled some syndicates heads before. Jacob k!lls the poor guy on the spot to sound a strong warning to the others.
Domeng, in the company of some watchmen, asks Krista if she has any valuable information about the white van that has been used in the kidñappiñg. Krista lies through her teeth and later decides to pack up in order to leave the place. Ironically, Letlet asks that they should say goodbye to uncle Cardo before they leave.
While some spoiled rich kids in the community plan to take advantage of the white van scare for their own criminal agenda, Cardo informs Dela Cruz of the information they had found out about Lily during a meeting at camp Crame. They then discuss about Mei Lin and her connection to former judge Arturo Padua.
Speaking of, Art has a talk with his kids, whining about how the rich and powerful in society got away with their crimes even after he had sentenced them. He declares that when money talks, evil works. Those spoiled rich kids get a white van to kidñap a poor girl and they’re easily caught by some policeman.
At the police station, the apprehended rich kids are interrogated and though they insist that they have nothing to do with the other kidñappiñgs, they’re still thrown in jail. Hipolito takes a look at the evidence he’s gathered against Lily, confident that he can bring her down with it when the time comes.
In the meantime, Cardo calls Diana to brief her about the intel gathered on Mei Lin. Apparently, she was the daughter of a drug lord. A moment later, Diana and Delfin approach the dumb president to tell him about something he needs to know regarding Lily.Read Next Episode on Brothers Episode 540
