Juan Escapes From Lazaro’s Clutches & Vows Vengeance. Bubbles Mourns Her Loss With Cardo’s Family. Lazaro Blackmails Lily With The Evidence Against Her.
The episode begins with Lily having a talk with Mei Lin about Juan’s sudden disappearance. The jezebel suspects that something’s wrong somewhere so she plans to contact Lazaro and make him do her dirty work for her.
While Cardo and the rest of the guys strive to console and strengthen Jerome, Alyana keeps Bubbles company and also makes it her mission to give her comfort. Lily calls Lazaro on phone to inform him of her engagement with the dumb president. She then charges him to stay away from her for a while until she becomes first lady, adding that they would all benefit from it.
Appalled, Lazaro protests weakly. Hipolito is amused when he sees a news report of the president’s engagement to Lily and he plans to visit some old friends of his.Bubbles is discharged and brought home with the remains of her poor baby.
She mourns her loss with Cardo’s family and comrades and Grandma Flora is enraged to learn that Captain Bart was the mastermind of the tragedies. The Palace staff sympathize with Bubbles when they come to learn of what had befallen her and Oscar agrees to let them make an appearance at the baby’s wake to show their support.
Lazaro has Juan tied and restrained to a chair and he questions him about why he had deceived him. Juan makes mention of a cargo of products worth over 20 million and offers that in exchange for his life. When he refuses to give up the location right away, Lazaro angrily drops him with a kick to the head.
A moment later, Lily shows up at the hideout to warn Lazaro not to interfere in her marriage with the president.Juan takes the advantage to free himself. He takes out a couple of goons and is surprised to see Lily talking to Lazaro downstairs.
After Lily leaves, he escapes through the window, k!lls a motorcyclist and steals his bike. He then hurries back to his hideout to pack up his stuff and move back into the house he had rented near Cardo’s. Ernesto has a talk with Lily and he urges her to build up her public image as the soon-to-be first lady of the country.
Lazaro lashes out at his men and deals with them when they return empty-handed after their search for Juan. While the wake of Bubbles’ baby is ongoing, Basco informs Cardo about Chloe’s mürdër and they both figure out that Hipolito could be behind it. Diana soon relays the information to the president who’s inclined to believe the same.
Hipolito discusses with Jacob about his plan to fortify their assets and forces before they resume with their ultimate agenda of becoming the most powerful drug cartel in the country. Meanwhile, Lazaro forces his way into Lily’s house to face her.
Revealing that he has evidence against her that he could use to ruin all of her plans, he warns her to break off her engagement with the president or else he would expose the kind of person she really is. A battle of words ensue, güñs are drawn by Mei Lin and Cedric.
Mei Lin bests Cedric easily and in Chinese, she asks Lily for the go-ahead to k!ll him and Lazaro. Lily says not just yet since she doesn’t know the evidence Lazaro has against her. Upon arriving at the hideout, Lazaro gloats over the evidence, just as Lily orders Mei Lin to find out what Lazaro has on her and silence him for good.
