Tianming Receives Update On The Investigation. Jiayu Remembers Her Liver Donation & Storms Haoze’s Office To Confront Him Again. Xinyan Makes It Her Mission To Cover Things Up.
The caretaker told Li Jiayu that one of the main reasons why Xinyan had been allowed to stay at the house was because she saved Ruirui’s life and that had made Zhenguo change his mind. Jiayu asked some more questions and the caretaker told her everything she knew.
As soon as Jiayu left the house, she ran into Ruirui who had just returned from school. Gu Min and Xinyan badmouthed Jiayu in front of Ruirui. However, Ruirui argued that her mother was not a bad woman.
Tianming came to the Maru Group as usual but ordered Secretary Liu to postpone the cooperation with Pide. He asked Secretary Liu to secretly investigate for information on Haoze and his wife Mengchen/Jiayu. This matter was absolutely confidential and must be reported directly to him.
Jiayu packed up some stuff and also saw the note that Tianming had left for her; the note stated that Tianming would find her and understand all her stories irrespective of her past. Jiayu burst into tears when she saw the words and she also left Tianming a note, saying that she did not know much about the past, but firmly believed that she could not be a bad woman.
After she proved her innocence, she would come back to find him. Soon enough, Tianming receives a phone call from Secretary Liu telling him that the investigation he requested has been conducted. At night Jiayu remembered some memories again.
The next morning, Haoze brings the divorce agreement to Jiayu for her to sign. Jiayu merely tells him to give her more time. Tianming looked at the survey data and found it inexplicably ridiculous. Secretary Liu told him that the company had grown with the support of Jiayu’s family and that everyone who knew Jiayu thought she was a gentle and virtuous woman.
In the meantime, Jiaxing urges his sister to simply sign the divorce agreement so they could get the compensation money to treat their mother. Jiayu found out about the hospital Zhenguo had been admitted at and when she went over there, she strongly felt that the place was strangely familiar. As fate will have it, she recalled her memory about donating her liver for Zhenguo.
Jiaxing took his mother out for a walk and Dajiu deliberately found an opportunity to approach him and ask some questions. Meanwhile, Jiaxing stormed Haoze’s office and tore up the divorce agreement in front of him.
She then questioned him about her liver donation and how he had replaced her with Xinyan. A moment later, Haoze called Xinyan to notify her that Jiayu had recovered her memories. Xinyan then acted with immediate effect to cover up her tracks and made Zhenguo treat Jiayu with indifference.
Xinyan congratulated Jiayu on recovering her memory and then proceeded to taunt her with her situation. Jiayu went to the coffee shop and after learning that it has been closed for a long time, she returned home to find the place disorganized.
