Jiaxing Is Bittersweet With His Sister’s Return Home. Tianming Becomes Distressed. Xinyan Eggs Haoze On. Jiayu Confronts Haoze Over His Outrageous Accusations.
Lin Tianming told the police that he did not know the man in the surveillance video. After the police left, he took all the in-store monitors back to investigate and soon learned why Li Jiayu ’s foot was injured.
Yanan couldn’t seem to understand why the coffee shop was so messy and Tianming merely told her to clean up the place before running out to go in search of Mengchen/Jiayu. Meanwhile, Shen Fenfang played with her daughter whom she didn’t recognize.
Jiayu was somewhat uncomfortable with the situation. Zhenguo overheard Xinyan’s fake parents expressing their understanding of Ruirui’s rudeness at the banquet earlier. Haoze entered his daughter’s room and when he found her painting her mother Li Jiayu, he urged her to also paint Xinyan. However, Ruirui refused to do so.
Haoze turned down Ruirui’s request to go and live with her mother, saying that the situation was complicated. Jiayu took great care of her after her return home. Jiaxing had mixed feelings for his sister’s return; he was happy that she was back but then, not so much with the supposed shameful act she had committed.
After revealing that their mother was suffering from complications of Alzheimer’s disease due to an accident, Jiaxing showed Jiayu the divorce petition and asked her to simply grant Haoze his wish so they could get the compensation money. Tianming went to ask for news about Jiayu and he met Ruirui who told him that she was her mother.
Once he returns to the shop, Tianming reflected on the time he had spent with Jiayu for over six months.Tianming told Yanan that Jiayu had recovered her memories and would definitely return to the coffee shop. At home, Yanan and her mother Zhen discussed about the incident that had occured during the birthday party of Haoze’s father.
Yanan then told Zhen about what had happened at the coffee shop. Tianming was drinking in the darkroom and wondering whether Mengchen/Jiayu was a bad woman. Since Jiayu hadn’t completely recovered her memories, she began to wonder the same thing.
Xinyan told Haoze that when Jiayu comes to him, he must bury her with all the criminal evidence. Later, while Haoze was thinking about what Xinyan said to him in his car, Jiayu showed up to confront him with the outrageous accusations he had levelled against her in the divorce petition.
When asked when he had started his relationship with Xinyan, Haoze refused to answer. Tianming came to the house where Jiayu once lived and he left a note on the table and drove off. Yanan asked Jiaxing to have dinner together with her and he told her of his sister’s return home.
Later, Zhen counseled her daughter to go and work in Tianming’s company in hopes of sparking an office romance. Yanan thinks it would be a fruitless venture since it’s evident that Tianming doesn’t care for her. Zhenguo is taken to the hospital after accidentally falling off the bed.
In the meantime, Jiayu massages her mother and when she sets eyes on a wedding photo of herself and Haoze, she decides to go back to her former matrimonial home in order to recover the rest of her memories. Upon arriving there, the caretaker of the house secretly let her in. Jiayu looked around and realized that everything of hers had been replaced by things of Xinyan.
