Jiayu Escapes Dajiu & Suffers From Amnesia; Tianming Becomes Her Anchor & Begins To Fall For Her; Yanan Tends To Get Jealous. Xinyan Comes Up With A Cunning Scheme To Win Over Haoze’s Father.
The episode begins with Jiayu’s mother returning home, still dazed. When she sets eyes on a photo frame of herself and her runaway husband, she flips and begins blaming him for their daughter’s disappearance.
Tianming receives a phone call from the hospital, requesting for him to make some payment so Jiayu can undergo a CT scan. Initially, he states that it’s none of his concern but soon changes his mind.
As Dajiu searches nearby, Jiayu finally regains consciousness at the hospital and she begins to have an episode. The commotion draws the attention of Dajiu who follows her outside.
When Tianming pulls over in that moment, Jiayu runs into his car and pleads with him to take her away from the place. Tianming then decides to take her to his place. Dajiu calls Xinyan to notify her of what he had discovered.
Xinyan worries about the implication and her puppeteer vows to stop at nothing to find Jiayu. Meanwhile, Haoze has a nightmare about his wife confronting him for everything he had done to her.
The next morning, while Jiayu’s mother gives a statement at the police station regarding her daughter’s disappearance, Haoze actually tells his parents of how his wife had allegedly ran away with some of his fortune.
Unlike his impossible wife, Mr. Hao strongly refuses to believe this until he gets the chance to speak with Jiayu personally. While Tianming takes good care of Jiayu, Xinyan connives with Haoze to make Mr. Hao believe that she was her donor and thus saved his life, all in an attempt to make him consent to their relationship.
In no time, Mr. Hao goes to see Xinyan to express his gratitude. He then makes it clear that he’s not going to give up on his daughter-in-law Jiayu.
Haoze later meets up with Xinyan who whines about how Mr. Hao had rejected her so bluntly.
Jiayu begins to recuperate in Tianming’s care and seems to be suffering from some kind of amnesia. Tianming decides to employ her at his shop. As Jiayu cleans up the place, Tianming saves her from falling and begins to take several photos of her, claiming that he’s testing his camera.
Jiayu is now referred to as Mongchun since she doesn’t remember who she is. When Yanan comes upon the scene of Tianming still taking photos of her, she begins whining.
Soon enough, Tianming secretly develops the films and when Yanan later asks when she would send off “that woman” since he’s taken care of her for six months, Tianming merely tells her to mind her own business.
Yanan gets upset and later blows a fuse in Mongchun (Jiayu’s) presence.Tianming teaches Mongchun the ropes at work and seems to be getting personal with her for reasons he himself can’t seem to understand.
Mr. Hao is discharged and brought home and when he asks for a glass of water, Xinyan brings him one excitedly, only to be ignored. As Mrs. Hao urges her husband to give his consent to her relationship with their son, Mr. Hao reprimands her and gives Xinyan a piece of his mind.
Xinyan gets emotional and after she runs out, Mrs. Hao goes after her and assures her that she would do everything in her power to persuade her husband. Jiayu’s mother scolds her son for refusing to pass flyers with her on the street and continuously goofing off.
Jiaxing blows a fuse fit for a childish brat. Meanwhile, Tianming is reading a book in his room when he recalls his encounter with Mongchun (Jiayu) at the shop earlier. The episode concludes as he reflects on the incident and smiles to himself.
