Roman Tries To Trap Carlos. Sylvia Is Ättaçked By Emeka’s Goons. Gabriel Is Shocked To Discover The Identity Of His Real Mother.
Roman calls Carlos on phone and demands for him to come to his office right away. Meanwhile, Sylvia is tailed by Emeka’s goons who corner and confront her about Gabriel’s whereabouts. In desperation, she grabs a makeshift wëäpon and strives to drive the goons away. Sylvia gets shot in the arm and a moment after the scumbags flee, Gabriel shows up and hurries to her aid.
While Bianca goes for a checkup at the hospital, Gabriel takes Sylvia to another hospital for treatment. In the meantime, Bianca bumps into Isabel again at the other hospital and she treats her friendly and makes her believe that she’s always welcome to her home anytime she wants to visit.
When Carlos finally shows up at Dela Vega Group, Roman questions him about how he had sold out all of his shares in the company.Carlos justifies his actions and is taken by surprise when Roman urges him to stay at the company, implying that he stands to inherit everything he has as his legal son.
Following a talk with the doctor about Sylvia’s condition, Gabriel cheers up when he has a heartfelt conversation with his wife on phone. As fate will have it, Emeka has one of his goons tail Bianca in hopes of getting to her husband. Carlos informs his wife about the surprising offer Roman had made him earlier.
He suspects that it could be a trap and so he plans to beat him at his own game. Gabriel sits by Sylvia’s bedside and answers a phone call from her sister who happens to be none other than Natalia. In the meantime, Sandra points out some signs of depression in Isabel and strives in vain to convince her to get help.
Gabriel calls Roman on phone to update him on the recent happenings. Natalia soon comes to see Sylvia and Gabriel is surprised to realize that they’re sisters. Bianca makes out the scumbag following her and she alerts her driver and has him reroute to the nearby police station for help.
In an interesting turn of events, Gabriel is shocked when he finds a baby photo of himself in Sylvia’s purse. Upon arriving at the hideout, he goes through her things and finds a photo of himself with Sylvia as a baby. He’s even more shocked as realization dawns on him.
In no time, he calls Roman to tell him of his suspicions and he declares that it’s only a DNA test that can prove whether Sylvia is really his mother Clara Rivera. On this note, Gabriel quickly has the test done and he’s surprised when it turns out positive as he had suspected.
Rigor and Carlos have some guys dig up the spot where the former had buried the remaining diamonds. Ironically, they don’t find a damn thing down there and that makes Carlos even more frustrated. Meanwhile, Gabriel confronts Sylvia with the test results and she gets all dramatic and apologizes profusely for deceiving him.
After he leaves, Roman comes over and he’s surprised to learn the truth. Apparently, he hadn’t recognized Sylvia as Clara because he had only had a one-night stand with her all those years ago. Carlos pays Bianca a visit at home with a gift and she treats him with indifference.
At the hospital, Natalia recounts some incidents to Gabriel and tries to explain why she had kept him in the dark and not told him the truth right away. Gabriel softens up as he reflects on his first encounter with Sylvia/Clara and how she had saved him.
