“This war isn’t over until I say it’s over. They fooled us, Marga. Cassie is still alive! I’ll prove it. Romina didn’t bury anyone. Only Hector is capable of k!lling everyone. This is the perfect time to go against him. I’ll take everything from him to make sure he rots in prison.”
Kulas confronted Hector at the precinct for k!lling his sons. Meanwhile, Romina arrived at the safehouse to find Bonita the rat there. Kristoff told her about the incident earlier and Mina decided to cut short Cassie’s wake in order to curve any suspicions.
Thanks to nanny Esther, Daniela started suspecting that there was something fishy going on about Cassie’s funeral. Hector told one of his lackeys to wait for Daniela’s orders to get him out of jail. He then ordered him to go after Mina’s lawyer and get some info out of him. A moment later, the scumbag spied as Kristoff had a talk with Mikoy.
At the cemetery, Daniela confronted Romina, demanding to know whether Cassie’s body was really in the casket. She went ahead to take a look as Mina stared mockingly. Danny girl got into Mina’s face. Neil revealed that they were visiting their mother’s grave and as she lunged for him, Romina intercepted, and held her in a chokehold as she recounted the countless crimes she had committed and the lives that had been lost in the process.
Mikoy told Marga about the phone he had seen at the safehouse. Hector’s goon spied as they conversed. Meanwhile, Daniela had gone loco upon her arrival home. While the inmates stood and served as barriers, Hector placed a phone call to Daniela and reminded her of their deal.
“They’re moving me to the city jail,” Hector said. “You’ll have a harder time getting me out of there.”
“I’m working on a plan. I’ll tell you when everything’s ready.”
“You better hurry. Work with my men. Don’t test my patience.”
“Romina was right,” Daniela grumbled after the phone call. “Only Hector is capable of k!lling everyone. If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t be in this mess!”
“Hector’s a dangerous enemy,” Savannah reasoned. “That evil man is your only ally.”
“This is the perfect time to go against him. I’ll take everything from him to make sure he rots in prison. And doesn’t contact me ever again.”
“How?”
Daniela rallied the goons and rambled on about her plan to break Hector out of prison, adding that they would need a lot of money to pay off the prisoners. A goon revealed that all of Hector’s money was at his hideout. Danny girl smirked. “Good. What are we waiting for?”
The goons took Daniela to Hector’s hideout and showed her the stack of money. Voiceover by Daniela : All I need to do is to come up with a so-called plan to set them up. We have to keep all of Hector’s goons busy that night. They must not be in his hideout when I clear out all of his money.
The next thing to do is to call the police and entrap his men. Daniela went ahead to tip off the police about the ‘plan’ to break Hector out of prison. She then laughed wickedly. And so it was. The goons were surrounded before they could enter the police station. As they refused to surrender, the police took them out.
A moment later, Daniela put on a show, sobbing and telling Hector about the deaths of his men. Hector asked how that had happened and Danny girl said Romina was to blame. So pleased with herself, Daniela asked her bratty lapdog to open the cabinet.
Savvy did so but didn’t find a single dime. Danny girl flipped, grabbed a baseball bat and began wrecking the place. She then singled out a part of the wall, and after a few strikes, she hit jackpot. Yep. The money had been buried in the wall. Daniela found and retrieved it in such excitement.
Leon saw the address of the safehouse on Romina’s laptop. He tried asking her about it but she brushed him off. On Hector’s orders, the goon held Mikoy hostage and forced Marga to give up the location of the safehouse. They eventually got away from the miserable swine. Arriving home, Marga informed her despicable mother of the incident.
Leon arrived at the address and a second later, the muscular goon showed up. He took cover and eventually subdued the bigger man who admitted to working for Hector before another scumbag came to help him escape. The Mondragons, who had already moved from that safehouse, watched the whole show on a phone.
At the crematorium, Daniela grabbed an urn, opened it and found it empty. She threw a fit upon realizing that Romina had tricked her. “This war isn’t over until I say it’s over. Revenge. Is mine! Only mine!!”
While Romina suspected Leon of being in cahoots with Hector and was thinking of ways to make him confess, Leon paid his cousin a visit in jail and greeted him with some punches to the face. He then asked nicely that he stop harassing Romina.
Threatening to keep his daughter away from him, Hector also threatened Paco, his son in return. Daniela was on a rampage at home, hellbent on proving that Cassie was still alive. Her antics brought Marga downstairs and she asked why she was like someone who had gone bananas.
“They fooled us, Marga. Cassie is still alive! I’ll prove it. Romina didn’t bury anyone.” Danny girl asked her daughter to pack up her things so she would fly her out of the country before she got caught up in the madness she was going to display.
Mikoy told Kulas about his recent adventure with Marga. Romina ran into Leon at the prison and called him out as a traitor. Meanwhile, Kulas stormed the Bartolome house and demanded to see his granddaughter. Daniela mocked him with how she was taking Marga out of the country and away from everyone.
Before going back inside, she instructed her goons to shoot him down if he tried to get in. Leon caught up with Romina and rambled on about how he had only gone to the address after seeing the lot on her laptop because he had been worried about her. Mina refused to believe or trust him. Leon went on about how he had his own reasons to be mad at Hector.
“He’s my cousin, but I’m nothing like him. I want him to pay for his crimes.”
Romina looked down. “What happened to your hand?”
“I got into a fight with Hector. He was threatening Paco because I’ve been helping you.” Leon then vowed to never betray her no matter what.
“I’m sorry, Leon. So much has happened. I really don’t know who I should trust anymore. I’m just being careful.” A moment later, Romina had a call from Kulas, asking that she help stop Daniela from escaping the country with his granddaughter.
Standing outside the Bartolome house, Kulas made another phone call. “Edwin. I’ll send you an address. Pick me up. I need your help.”
Daniela arrived at the airport with Marga, promising to follow up as soon as she got ‘justice’ for her dad’s death. After sending her inside, Danny girl was taking out the luggage when Romina pulled over and confronted her.
“Did you really think you could escape? You will never get away with all of your crimes.”
The commotion was pulling in a crowd. Turning the tables, Danny girl rambled on about how she was just waiting for Marga to leave before having her revenge and exposing her secret (Cassie being alive). Marga looked on as her mother and aunt held each other in chokeholds while exchanging words. As security came to restore order, Marga sneaked into Romina’s car in hopes of finding out where Cassie was being hidden.
“Remember this, Daniela,” Mina hissed. “No matter where you hide, I will find you.”
Daniela ordered a hit on Romina and charged the scumbags to make it look like an accident. Meanwhile, Romina noticed the black van following her and managed to shake off those losers. Marga was having the bumpiest ride of her life. Go figure. While Daniela went around asking about her daughter whom no one seemed to have seen, Marga was rendered unconscious during the high speed chase.
Eventually, Romina pulled over to fend off the attackers. She soon ran out of büllëts and took cover behind her car as the remaining two goons advanced. Suddenly, two motorcyclists came out of nowhere and fired at the scumbags, forcing them to flee.
“Romina?” one of them prompted.
Mina came out of hiding. She looked on in shock after the man took off his helmet. “Mr. Kulas?”
“Are you okay, Romina?”
