Victor Saves Marlon’s Life. Kenjie Strives To Reason With Janine. Janine Pushes Through With Her Senseless Vendetta Against Victor & His Family.
Yvonne is miserable with her situation with Victor and as she laments over how she could lose him all over again, Carmen comes over to counsel and console her. While Carla strives to get Audrey to eat her breakfast, Kenjie pays a surprise visit.
He introduces himself to the little girl as a friend of her mother and she actually snubs him and walks away. Victor goes to see Gary in his office and they talk about his situation with Yvonne and Janine. Gary makes light of his misery and suggests that he use his amnesia to defend himself in court.
In the meantime, Kenjie makes a pretty pathetic attempt to talk some sense into Janine and convince her not to push through with her vendetta. Janine vows to stop at nothing to make her husband and family pay for her misery and the death of her baby.
Marlon has a fallout with Shakira and Mimi after getting himself drunk stüpïd. A moment later, he’s ganged up on by some scoundrels he owes money and after they beat him up for a while, Victor comes to his rescue.
Eventually, Marlon gets stabbed and Victor saves the day yet again. Mimi is miserable and wants to go and reconcile with her boyfriend but Shakira discourages her. After admitting Marlon at the hospital, Victor calls Gary to inform him.
In spite of her mother’s misgivings, Yvonne foolishly leaves home to go to Janine’s place and offer her condolences for the death of her baby. Janine blows a fuse and lamely blames her and Victor for it. She then vows to make them pay dearly before chasing her away.
Carmen and the rest of the family come to see Marlon at the hospital. She urges her son to forgive Victor for all of his shortcomings and give him another chance. Yvonne arrives home to learn of what had befallen her brother and she hurries to the hospital to go and see him.
In the meantime, Victor tries to reach out to Janine but gets hindered by Carla. Upon learning of her babe’s misfortune, Mimi goes to the hospital with Shakira to put on a dramatic display of care.
Janine reaches out to her lawyer on how to speed up her case against Victor.
Again, she refuses to listen to Kenjie’s sense of reasoning. Anyway, Marlon finally decides to make peace with Victor and that delights Yvonne, Carmen and the others. Doris gets pretty upset with Janine’s persistence and desire to drag her poor brother to jail.
Victor soon receives a subpoena from the court and that leaves him incredulous. Carmen can’t help but to be delighted with her daughter’s reconciliation with her ex-husband. Yvonne relates with her and looks forward to being there for Victor.
Daria hangs out with Janine and gossips to her about the time her husband had spent with Yvonne and their son on his birthday. Having no shame, Janine offers the gold digger of a woman some money in exchange for information and her secrecy. Albert calls Yvonne on phone and gets to talk to Marcus instead.
Later when Yvonne returns home, Marcus informs her of Albert’s call. He then begins to interrogate her on her friendship with him. Victor comes to see Janine and makes a futile attempt to talk to her. Janine berates him and as Victor strives to make her listen, Dale rears his ugly head and punches him in the face.
