“I look better in gold; the gold you showered me with to cover up for your filth. Because of you, my mother died. I was completely ridiculed and looked down by everyone. For seventeen years, you made me believe that you saved me from humiliation. And that I owed you for taking care of Cassie.”
Neil and Bonita went to alert those inside that Romina had arrived. Romina stepped out of her car, wearing a golden gown and bearing a bouquet of black flowers. After a confrontation with Daniela, she sauntered in, and everyone was wondering what she was wearing as she made her way straight to Robert. “There’s something I need to tell you,” Robert said. “We need to talk.”
Romina slapped him with the truth, literally and figuratively. Ignoring Robert’s pleas to talk about the matter behind closed doors, Mina announced that their beloved Mr. Mondragon was a räpïst and had fooled them all, even his own biological daughter. “Let’s talk in private,” Robert coaxed. “I was about to tell you the truth but you beat me to it.”
“Do you like my dress?” Romina taunted. “I figured that white doesn’t really suit me. I look better in gold; the gold you showered me with to cover up for your filth. I thought I already faced every kind of demon. I didn’t know I married their leader himself.”

“You don’t have a place in my heart anymore. Not anymore.”
Romina thanked the guests for coming and called off the wedding. Slamming the flowers onto the ground, she stormed out. Robert followed her out and asked for forgiveness for the mistake he had done and hiding the truth from her. Romina said what he had done was a crime and not a mistake.
“You completed me,” Mina said. “But you ruined me in the first place. Because of you, my mother died. I was completely ridiculed and looked down by everyone. How could you do this to me? You made everyone believe Cassie wasn’t a Mondragon. You propped her up like an orphan child who desperately needed a father.”
“I’m ready to face my punishment for what I did to you. But I can’t live without you and Cassie.”
“That’s not my problem. From this day onwards, you are just a criminal to me. You have no right to see my daughter. Because to me. You’re dead.”
At the mansion, Kristoff comforted Cassie as she sobbed miserably over the recent revelation, still in denial that her dad could have done something so heinous. Meanwhile, bratty daughter was worried that Romina would take everything from them and they’d go back to being poor again. Despicable mother assured her that that wouldn’t happen. Romina eyed the portrait of herself and Robert.
She grabbed a vase and launched it, breaking glass. Jepoy asked her to stop and think things through but Mina said she was doing what she had to do. Gino asked Mikoy about the wedding and he reluctantly revealed what had happened at the event. Meanwhile at the mansion, Romina set fire to all her portraits with Robert as he looked on in disbelief.
“For seventeen years, you made me believe that you saved me from humiliation. And that I owed you for taking care of Cassie.”
After exchanging some words with Daniela, Romina had their things brought out, demanding that they leave the mansion. Danny girl threw a fit and Mina decided to leave with her daughter instead. Carlos, the dumbass was upset over the fact that Robert had ruined his relationship with Romina. Meanwhile, Atty. Del Mariano brought Alvin some supplies. Alvin was determined to seek revenge on Romina and Daniela for what they had done to him.
Romina comforted her daughter over their situation, going on about how she had løvëd her dad more than anyone only for him to deceive them. She then announced that they would be leaving the mansion. Cassie was heartbroken, even as she asked to speak with her dad before they left. Cassie approached her dad and asked for the truth. Robert only evaded her question and apologized for lying to them. Carlos barged in just then and started making a scene.
“What are you doing here?” Daniela asked.
“I have something for your father.”
Carlos dashed forward and punched Robert, ranting nonstop about him being far worse than he was. Danny girl kicked out her hubby. Romina came down a moment later to take Cassie away. All of Robert’s attempts to make her change her mind fell on deaf ears. Hector was hellbent on getting revenge on the Mondragons for everything they had done to him.
Meanwhile, Carlos confronted Robert again when he saw him talking to his daughter. Danny girl came to stand by her father. The Mondragons arrived at their new residence. Cassie thanked her mom for giving her the chance to talk to her dad even though it was painful for her. Mina said she couldn’t have taken that away from her since it was important to her.
“But ma, when is the pain going to disappear?”
“I don’t know, Cassie. It hurts knowing that the man we løvëd was behind our suffering. I didn’t want to do this, but if we hadn’t left, the pain would have grown even worse.”
“I’m here for you, mamma. I know you had to endure a lot of pain and make sacrifices for me. You could have chosen not to have me.”
Romina shushed her daughter. “Cassie, no.”
“Because I was born from a crime. But you still chose to have me. You never made me feel like having me was a mistake, no matter how many times people judged you for it.”
“Because I løvë you very much, and I promise that will never change.”
Jepoy went to the mansion to get the rest of Romina’s things. Robert asked where they were and Jepoy told him that Romina didn’t want anyone to know their current location. Robert beat himself up over the fact that he had listened to Daniela when he had had so many chances to tell Romina the truth. Daniela ranted.
“I’ll do anything to earn her forgiveness,” Robert said.
Daniela met up with Savannah, going on about how she was worried about her dad since he was definitely the first person on Romina’s list. Meanwhile, Neil had a talk with Cassie, suggesting that Romina let things to cool down before she went back to work since people were talking about them.
“I trust mamma, uncle Neil. She did nothing wrong, so why does she have to hide if she’s innocent? Mamma needs us more than ever.”
Bratty lapdog was filling her puppet master’s head with ideas to solve her problems, certain that she wouldn’t let Romina win in the end. “You’re right. This isn’t over,” Daniela said. “She hasn’t pressed charges against dad. She løvês dad too much to do that. Even before she does that, I’ll ruin her life.”
Savannah spouted some crap my ears refused to listen to. “What are you planning to do?”
“I’ll start with the company. I have to convince the board that dad is the victim here. I’m going to do everything I can to get the investors to unite and kick her off her throne.”
