Victor Bonds With His Son & Tries To Connect With His “Wife”. Yvonne Struggles To Deal With Victor’s Return Home; Janine & Her Daughter Wallow In Misery. Victor’s Memory Triggers.
Victor begins to bond with his son and he blabbers about the plans he has to make it up to his mother and grandma. Yvonne observes silently from outside the door. Audrey is having a sobbing fit and whining for her supposed father and his absence from home. Speaking of, Victor finds his son and “wife” asleep in bed and he covers them up and professes his løvë for the latter. After he leaves, Yvonne opens her eyes.
The next morning, she has a talk with Albert about how her misëräble ex-husband is nothing but a painful reminder of all the things she had lost and the pain she had suffered. Albert can only hope that Victor would recover his memories soon so she would finally be free of him. Later that night, he surprises Yvonne with an exotic dinner and gift necklace for Christmas.
A band plays music and while Albert has a dance with Yvonne, Audrey begins to pester her mother again about when her “daddy” would return home and Janine strives to explain things to her and cheer her up.Marcus gladly lends his father a helping hand to prepare breakfast for the family as Yvonne observes.
Once it’s time to eat, Marcus ushers her to the table eagerly and Yvonne gets teary eyed as she beholds how father and son seem genuinely happy with each other. With dinner over, Victor gives Yvonne a shawl as a Christmas gift and she struggles to deal with his preceding moves as she recalls some sane memories from the past.
Janine is left to have dinner alone at home with her daughter, just as Mimi and Shakira pay a visit to the Aguiluz residence bearing gifts for the family. Victor takes Marcus upstairs to play with him while Yvonne hangs out with her friends and has a drink with them. They soon get pretty drunk and begin blabbering about Yvonne’s situation with Victor.
Yvonne drunkenly laments over everything that has been going on and she admits that she has a little løvë left for Victor but she would get over it because she doesn’t want to løvë him anymore.
And with that, she passes out right there and then. Victor shows up and insists on carrying his dear “wife” upstairs where he attends to her and tries to make out with her. Eventually, Yvonne recovers her sanity and resists him.
Janine sits dejectedly in her room reminiscing about some good memories with her husband.
The next morning, Victor takes his son to his mothers’ house for a visit and on the way, he sees some flowers that triggers some random memories he had had with Janine. They come across Albert who offers to give them a ride to where they’re going.
Meanwhile, Janine shows her misëräble face at the Aguiluz residence with Carla in tow with gifts for the family, and Yvonne treats her with indifference. Janine drops the stuff at the door and walks away. She doesn’t leave entirely but spies from the comfort of the taxi she had ordered. Inside, Marlon whines and expresses his disapproval of Janine’s actions and Carmen gives him a talking-to.
Victor and Marcus spend some time with Sonia and the rest of the family at home and Daria almost lets slip the concubinage case Yvonne had filed against him before. Gary cooks up a lame cover-up story. A moment later, Victor has a talk with his mother about how his “wife” has been avoiding him and no longer the woman he used to know.
Sonia urges him to try to understand her since she had recently lost her father. Carmen notices the taxi still waiting outside and she notifies her daughter. Once Marlon gets wind of it, he tries to go and scare Janine away but Carmen stops him. Yvonne goes out to confront her and Janine justifies her actions by saying that she just wants to see her husband and know how he’s doing.
Surprisingly, Yvonne invites her inside the house. While Doris makes a futile attempt to have Gary to lay with her, Victor returns home with some food from his mother’s place. Janine gets excited but soon disappointed when Victor ignores her and heads upstairs to see Yvonne.
