Janine Is Compelled To Make The Tough Sacrifice For Victor’s Recovery. Yvonne Decides To Do Right By Her Son. Victor Returns Home To Reunite With His Family & Make Amends.
The episode begins with Sonia scolding Victor and telling him to quit with the drama since Doris had already called Yvonne who’s supposedly on her way over. Janine still looks on in disbelief after her dear hubby had pushed her down on her misëräble a$$. At home, Marcus apologizes to her mother again for causing his father’s breakdown earlier and Yvonne consoles him.
Janine gets pretty torn up with the incident earlier and the possibility that Victor might not remember her or their baby. Audrey’s grades and overall performance in school drops drastically and Janine is summoned by the principal to have a talk about the sudden change.
Later at the hospital, Sonia, Doris and Janine consult with the doctor on Victor’s condition and they’re urged to surround him with people he’s familiar with in order to boost his chances of recovery. Janine is appalled and reluctant to let her husband stay in the house of his former wife and the doctor tries to reason with her. Sonia urges her to make the sacrifice if she wants Victor to recover.
A moment later, she has a talk with Yvonne and struggles to convince her to agree to the 3 month period stay. Yvonne later meets up with Albert to discuss about the matter. Upon her arrival home, she finds her son lamenting and pouring his heart out over the conflict in their family and that makes her pretty emotionally affected.
The next morning, Yvonne and her mother visit Jaime’s gravesite where they talk about the ongoing situation with Victor. Yvonne wants her son to be happy and at peace but she still can’t bring herself to make that difficult decision. She later reaches out to Albert to ask for his opinion on the matter and they kind of bond.
Yvonne shows up at the hospital to inform Sonia and Doris about her decision; she would let Victor stay at her house for the sake of her son. Victor makes his appearance to show a dramatic display of remorse for Jaime’s death. He then takes her by surprise with a ki$$ out of nowhere and Janine is appalled as she beholds the scene.
Later while Yvonne is literally washing and cleaning her mouth in the washroom, Janine storms in to confront her. She says that she hopes she wouldn’t fall in løvë with Victor again. Yvonne scoffs and gloats and declares that she’s a very decent woman and would agree to continue their make-believe friendship in front of Victor.
Yvonne later dines with her friends and talks to them about her situation. Mimi and Shakira express their disapproval over the deal she had agreed to as well as the conditions of Janine.
Doris arrives home with her mother and she expresses her misgivings over how they had left Victor alone with “that woman”.
Daria comes over to start a pointless argument over the situation. In the meantime, Janine watches over Victor at the hospital and recounts to him the story of their friendship, all the while omitting the vital details, even as she explains why Audrey had called him “daddy” before.
After receiving an update from the doctor about Victor, Sonia urges Janine to get his things ready so she would take them to Yvonne’s house before he’s discharged from the hospital. Painstakingly, Janine proceeds to pack up her husband’s stuff in such dramatic and deplorable manner, reflecting on some memories with him. Yvonne soon receives Victor’s things from Sonia.
Janine surrenders the documents of her house and lot to her loaner and she’s cautioned that she won’t get them back if she doesn’t keep her end of the deal. Carla makes a futile attempt to talk some sense into her friend over the mess she’s made of her life on Victor’s account. Janine couldn’t care less but only wants her husband’s return.
Marcus excitedly looks forward to the arrival of his father and Yvonne reminds him that he would only be staying for three months and would return to his other family after he gets better. Marcus gladly goes to hug his father once Sonia and co bring him home. Yvonne plays along as Victor hugs her as well.
Victor then approaches Carmen to ask about Jaime’s death and after Doris recounts the incident, he laments over his loss of memories and desperately pleads for forgiveness. Carmen assures him that he’s forgiven but that doesn’t stop Victor from crying his eye out like a pathetic baby. Yvonne looks on silently as the drama unfolds.
