“I am Romina Mondragon, president and CEO of Camila Sardines. I am giving a reward of 20 million pesos to anyone who can find my missing husband, Robert Mondragon.”
The police served Hector with an arrest warrant for the attempted mürdër of Leon. They cuffed him, and off to the precinct they went, where he declared his utmost innocence and holiness. “Wait sir,” Hector said as he was about to be processed. “Before anything else, I need to call my lawyer.”
“Go right ahead then.”
Romina was impressed that Leon had gone through with his case against Hector. Leon said Hector had to pay for his crimes and shouldn’t have put his son in danger. Mina offered to help in anyway she could. Bratty Marga confronted Cassie with her usual boring nonsensical rantings.
As they traded words, some girls mocked her with the fact that her grandpa hadn’t returned home because her family was so dysfunctional and always bickering. A catfight soon began, where Cassie backed her up. She then asked that they work together to find her dad.
Hector posted bail. The Herreras arrived home and he confronted Leon. As they traded words, Robert looked on discreetly. Hector asked Leon to drop the case against him and Leon threatened to bash his face in if he didn’t leave.
“Get out of here, uncle,” Paco spat.
“Like father like son. You will pay for ruining my plan,” Hector said to Leon.
Robert watched as Hector drove away. Kulas resorted to setting a trap for Jessa with the one thing she loved the most – money. Romina discussed with Bernard what she had learned at the island. Seeing an advert about a missing person on TV, an idea popped into her mind. Kulas walked into a mall.
Meanwhile, Myrna called Jessa, who was also at the mall to inform her of the fake text and the trap Kulas had set for her. Kristoff had a talk with Cassie concerning the recent happenings in her family. Cassie brought up the supposed truce she and Marga had agreed on. Kristoff was glad that they were working things out. Again, supposedly.
Lights. Cameras. Action. “I am Romina Mondragon, president and CEO of Camila Sardines. I am giving a reward of 20 million pesos to anyone who can find my missing husband, Robert Mondragon. If you have any information, please contact Camila Sardines or call the number currently on your screens.”
Psyçhø Eva watched the live telecast and picked up the provided phone number. Meanwhile Robert also watched the news at his hideout. “I need to find out if my suspicions are correct. If my hunch is right, Romina and my family are in grave danger.”
Alvin informed his brother about the trending news, worried that their crimes would be exposed if Daniela or Romina found Robert first. “We have to move fast,” Hector said. “Nothing can stand between me and Daniela. No one should know that I tried to have her father k!lled.”
Later that night, Robert went to buy something at a shop and a guy filmed him. Romina arrived home, surprised to see bratty daughter there answering the phone. Cassie explained that she had brought her along to help with their search for her dad. Bratty daughter put on her best behavior and spouted some crap I didn’t bother listening.
A moment later, Jessa called the phone and asked to talk to Romina. Bratty daughter tried her best to coax the info out of her. Mistaking the brat for Cassie, she told her to inform her mother to meet up with her at the Freedom Park by 8 o’clock. As soon as she got home, she told her mother about it. Daniela then called Hector and asked for his help.
Psyçhø Eva walked into Camila Sardines. As she asked about Robert, she noticed Romina approaching. Cassie received the trending video of Robert from LJ. She showed it to her mom. Romina was shocked. Psyçhø Eva shadowed Romina as she came out of the office and went straight into her car. She flagged down a cab and followed. Daniela and Hector waited at the Freedom Park, and Jessa showed up soon enough.
Both women were surprised to see each other. Romina met up with the video uploader to ask about Robert. She didn’t find any leads though. Psycho Eva spied, and Mina barely caught her. She managed to slip away though. Daniela asked Jessa about her father, but Jessa didn’t know jack. She revealed her intention of giving her baby away to Romina because she wasn’t financially stable. Ignoring Hector’s warning, Danny girl then offered to adopt her baby.
“And why will you do that?” Jessa asked. “You’re about to give birth too.”
Hector sounded another warning. “Daniela, she might rat you out.”
“No. This is my only chance to bring home a baby to Carlos. I had a miscarriage,” Danny girl said to Jessa.
Jessa then decided to sell the baby to her at a discount; 10 million pesos only. Since she wasn’t certain that Daniela could afford it, she decided to go and ask for Romina’s help instead since she was the one swimming in dough. Danny girl then sent Hector after Jessa to stop her from revealing her miscarriage. The Mondragons discussed psycho Eva and her claim of being Robert’s wife.
Mina was determined to track down the psychotic woman. Meanwhile, Jessa evaded the clutches of Dahec (Daniela and Hector), only to broadcast her current location with her woeful cries. She had gone into an impromptu labor. Daniela managed to deliver the baby, and Jessa dropped unconscious. Ironically enough, Daniela tried to revive her by performing CPR.
“We need to focus on the baby, because she is a goner,” Hector stated. Dead. Dead. Dead.
Daniela resorted to keeping Jessa’s baby and passing it off as her own, and Hector offered to take care of Jessa’s body. You know, bury it in uncharted territory. Something peotic. Robert had put up a crisscrossing list of the suspects he was going to investigate.
He was actually talking to the photos of Leon and the Mangubats as if they could talk back. He stabbed Hector’s photo with his pen. “Once I prove that you had something to do with what happened to my family, I’ll make sure that you all rot in jail. And I will never stop until justice is served.”
Dahec had taken Jessa’s baby to the hospital. Hector told Daniela that she was now the boy’s mother because he had settled everything and paid up everyone. “But will Carlos buy it?” Danny girl said worriedly.
“Call him up. I have a plan.”
Kristoff told Cassie that he wouldn’t be able to make it to her upcoming birthday because he had a lot to do regarding the work attachment. Cassie was a bit downcast, though she understood his position. And the mind games begins. Marga and Carlos arrived at the hospital, elated at the sight of the baby.
“Is that my baby sister?” Marga asked.
“Baby brother,” Daniela corrected. She began with her cock and bull story as a nurse joined them.
Carlos looked like he was on cloud nine. “Why is our baby a boy?” he asked the nurse. “The ultrasound revealed we were having a girl.”
Daniela looked on, her eyes wide with trepidation. The nurse spouted some crap about ultrasounds not being accurate sometimes and Carlos soaked it up like the dumbest dumbass of the century. Go figure.
“Little Carlitos,” Carlos breathed.
“I’m a big sister now,” Marga sang.
Hector looked on from his hiding spot, the expression on his face telling tales of such stüpidity at it’s best. Little Carlitos was now home and pouting his little mouth, even as Nanny Esther fawned over him. “Aww, such a handsome boy. He looks so much like you, Carlos. Your side of the family must have strong genes.”
“I guess so,” Carlos said stupidly. That comment didn’t sit well with Daniela. She quickly reclaimed her stolen baby and eyed her sheepish, clueless husband. What a perfect, degenerate family.
