Albert Reconnects With Yvonne. Marcus Snubs His Father. Karma Comes For Victor & Janine & Leaves Victor In A Coma.
Marlon gets upset to learn of Victor’s marriage with his mistress and Yvonne charges him not to go and start any trouble. Later, Yvonne reprimands and urges herself not to be affected any longer with whatever her worthless ex-husband does.
Janine meets up with Mr. Hoffer at the restaurant who makes deliberate efforts to talk her into the business venture he had proposed to her before. In the meantime, Yvonne confronts Doris and the rest of the family for keeping Victor’s marriage a secret from her and Sonia strives to make her understand their good reasons.
Yvonne laments over how much Victor had hurt her and Sonia consoles her. Back at the restaurant, Janine figures out the game Mr. Hoffer is playing at and she speaks out her mind to him and turns down his offer. Janine arrives home, only to be confronted by Marlon who throws a fit and demands to see Victor.
Though a little thrown off by the news of Janine’s pregnancy, Marlon berates Victor for his constant efforts to manipulate his own son and vows to beat him up again the next time he sets eyes on him.
Albert amazes Marcus with his “magic” tricks and after he’s taken upstairs, he strives to convince Yvonne into going back to work for the insurance company, saying that her expertise is really needed there.
Carmen finds it difficult to accept her daughter’s situation and Marlon gives her a reality check and urges her to get over it already since there’s no chance that Yvonne would ever reunite with Victor. After having dinner together outside, Albert makes known his feelings for Yvonne.
Yvonne is speechless for a moment before she states that she can’t be in any relationship or løvë him for now after everything she’s suffered because of Victor. Albert takes it in good faith and urges her to return to the company.
While Victor excitedly tells Janine about the plans he’s made for their honeymoon, Carmen lectures Yvonne about her relationship with Albert and how Victor could use it against her. The next morning, Yvonne delights Albert with her return to the insurance company.
Marcus is glad to receive some gifts from his father at school but his excitement dies down when he remembers the words of his uncle and mother, namely how Victor has only been manipulating him. He then snubs his father and leaves.
Later, Victor takes his wife out and she urges him to get her some watermelons she’s been craving. As Victor is in the process of buying it from the roadside, he accidentally gets hit by a vehicle in such a dumb and ridiculous manner. Victor is taken to the hospital for treatment and Janine passes out from all the stress.
Once she regains consciousness, she begins to fret for her husband. Following an argument with Daria, Sonia resolves to leave the house and Doris strives to convince her to stay. Gary makes a futile attempt of his own to talk his mother-in-law out of leaving.
Janine uses Victor’s phone to call Doris and inform her of her brother’s condition. Yvonne expresses her appreciation to Albert after he drops her off at home. During dinner later that night, she receives a distressed phone call from Doris, telling her about Victor being in a coma at the hospital.
As Sonia goes to see her misëräble son, Carmen pushes for her daughter to express her emotions about the incident. Yvonne couldn’t care less as she states that what had happened might be Victor’s punishment for everything he’s done to her.
Doris lashes out at Janine and blames her for all the tragedies that had happened. Sonia chastises her for disregarding her brother’s condition and making a scene. After she has Gary take her out, Janine makes an attempt to connect with her.
Ultimately, Yvonne reflects on some memories with Victor and she takes Janine by surprise as she shows up in the hospital room where Victor lies. Both women take turns glancing at the comatose Victor and the episode concludes as they lock gazes, with Yvonne making a fist.
