“Daniela, I’m not a føøl. He tried to tell me something before the accident. Once I find your father, you can’t hide anything anymore. I’ll know everything. Down to your deepest secret.”
Carlos and Marga bombarded Daniela with questions as to where she had disappeared off to the whole day. Danny girl claimed she had been busy at work, and Carlos gave her a talk about how it wasn’t safe for their non-existent baby.
Camp Romina discussed the attempt on Leon’s life. An officer resorted to adding more security for Leon, and Romina assured Paco of his father’s safety. Paco left with the others to have his statement documented. Daniela revealed to her daughter that her grandpa was alive.
Mini-Daniela bombarded her mother with questions and suggested that they ask the police for help, but Danny girl was appalled at the idea. Romina arrived home and found the abandoned rose. She picked it up and went inside. Meanwhile, Robert came out of the bathroom at his hideout, staring at his own handsome reflection.
“I can’t go home yet. Until I find out who is threatening my family. Who are you, Leon? Are your feelings for my wife genuine? Or do you have a hidden agenda?”
Hector had a call from Snakeface, upset that his goons hadn’t been able to get rid of Leon. As Roxy stood nearby, he threatened to eliminate them if they didn’t cover their tracks. After the call, Roxy asked whether he had really done what Romina had accused him of, and Hector started with his emotional brainwashing.
Daniela went to the mansion to fish for information regarding Robert’s disappearance, and Romina gave her a piece of her mind. She later met up with Hector and asked for his resources to find her father. Romina discussed with Bernard her argument with Daniela earlier.She was certain that Danny girl was hiding something, and she was determined to know what it was.
Leon regained consciousness and Paco called out to the doctor and nurses who came to check up on him. Meanwhile, Romina was having a talk with Bonita when she received a phone call from Paco. Hector and his henchmen had come up short in their search, but Daniela was hellbent on finding her dad.
“What’s your plan when your supposed due day comes?” Hector asked.
“For now, I’ll just focus on finding my dad.”
“Your husband’s unbelievable. Doesn’t he see your belly looks way too big? How will you break it to him?”
At Robert’s hideout, he asked an unidentified person to investigate Leon. A moment later at the hospital, Romina spotted Robert as she was going to see Leon. Robert suddenly disappeared, only to show up again as soon as Mina was out of sight. Leon revealed to Romina that Robert was alive. He narrated the incident.
Mina was shocked, wondering why Robert hadn’t come back to her. She was determined to find him, certain that Daniela, Hector and Alvin knew something about his disappearance. Leon said he wouldn’t be able to help her in his current condition.
“They’ve been my enemies for a long time now,” Romina stated. “I know the way they think. But no matter what, they won’t stop me seeing my husband again.”
Cassie brought over some Camila employees to visit Leon at the hospital, and he thanked them for the gesture. Meanwhile, Carlos went to pick up his wife at her workplace only to learn that she hadn’t come in.
As camp Romina talked about the surprise visit for Leon, Robert listened in discreetly. After everyone left, he sneaked a peek into Leon’s hospital room. “So… you’re the man trying to replace me in Romina’s life. And my family’s. I’ll find out everything there is to know about you.”
Romina told Cassie about Leon’s discovery of her father being alive. Meanwhile, Robert was determined to figure out who Leon really was and why he seemed to have a pull on his loved ones. Cassie asked her mom why her dad hadn’t shown up or called, and Mina said she had no idea, though she was certain that he had a good reason for not showing up in their lives yet.
“I think Daniela might know something about daddy,” Cassie said.
“She didn’t tell me anything.”
“I’m not sure…but Marga keeps asking me for updates about him.”
The misëräble one-eyed-old man was throwing a fit over Jessa’s disappearance. A moment later, Myrna had a call from Jessa, asking that they meet up and talk. Romina confronted Daniela about the information she had hidden concerning Robert.
Meanwhile on the island, Eva saw some Camila Sardines cans. Obviously, a diabolic idea was brewing in her depraved mind. Jessa met up with Myrna, rambling on about how she didn’t want to be stuck with Kulas because of the baby.
Kristoff told Mikoy about how Cassie and Paco were getting close. Mikoy asked if he was jealous, and Kristoff said it sucked that he couldn’t be there for Cassie whenever she needed someone. Alvin was worried over his brother’s decision to help Daniela find Robert since they were the ones who had planned his accident. Hector said they had nothing to worry about because they didn’t have proof.
“I’ll know Daniela’s plans if I work for her,” Hector declared. “It’ll be easier for us to get rid of Robert again.”
Eva asked around about her ‘husband’. She saw a newspaper a guy was holding with Daniela headlined on it, and she flashed back to her encounter with her the other day. Present : Psycho Eva snatched the newspaper and tore it into pieces, panting like the crazy-ass-woman she was.
Meanwhile, Robert was peacefully enjoying a sweet cup of coffee at his hideout, staring at a photo of Leon. Leon told Felix that Romina was probably out looking for Robert. Felix asked what would become of their relationship if she found him and they got back together.
Leon said he couldn’t do anything because what mattered was Romina’s happiness. Cassie’s birthday was approaching, and she wished that her father would give her the best gift of all by showing up on her birthday. Neil asked about her mom, who hadn’t been answering his calls. Romina arrived at the island and started asking around about Robert.
“That’s Eva’s husband,” a woman said.
“Who is Eva?” Mina said in disbelief. A phone call came in just then. “Hello, Cassie.”
“Hello, ma. Where are you?”
The women began discussing about Eva’s ‘husband’. “Ma, who’s Eva?”
“I’m not sure. But she is the key to finding your father.”
Over the phone, Myrna tried to convince Jessa to return to the house. Carlos, who was coming in, overhead. Romina asked around about Eva and learned that she had been away for a few days now. She then showed Robert’s photo to them. “I know him,” a guy said. “A woman who rented my boat a few days ago tried to go after him.”
“Was it nurse Eva?”
“No, ma’am.”
“What did she look like?”
“She was pregnant and a bit rude.” The guy then gave Romina the person’s card. Yep. It was Daniela’s. Daniela was pretty upset that her bratty daughter was asking for online help to find Robert. She asked her to find what Romina knew so they could prevent them from knowing the truth.
Carlos confronted his mother about the phone call she had made earlier. Kulas overheard them and started ranting like a madman. Romina stormed into the Bartolome house to confront Daniela about her husband’s whereabouts.
“I don’t know what you’re talking…”
Mina shut Danny girl up with a left-handed slap. A battle of words ensued. “Daniela, I’m not a føøl. He tried to tell me something before the accident.”
