Carlos Picks A Fight With Gabriel At His Workplace. Maila Receives An Anonymous Letter. Gabriel Begins To Suspect Carlos. Carlos Frames Gabriel A Second Time For Victoria’s Dëäth.
Gabriel is working peacefully at the grocery shop in the mall when Carlos shows his misëräble face to deliberately harass him. When Gabriel urges him to lower his voice, the scoundrel takes delight in making more of a scene in front of some customers.
Gabriel then gets in his face and puts him in his place. As a faceoff ensues, the manager hurries over to restore order and he chases Carlos off with the threat of calling security for harassing his employee.
Meanwhile, Maila storms the Viloria residence to confront Rigor about the disappearance of her witness. Of course the scumbag plays dumb and denies it and Lydia actually comes to his defense and as the tension starts to take a toll on her, Rigor kicks Maila and her father out of the house.
Gabriel sees the car of interest parked somewhere outside the mall and when he notices Carlos getting into it, he calls his lawyer to inform her about it. He then borrows his manager’s phone and snaps a photo to send it to her.
When asked what it’s about, Gabriel merely says that it’s a long story and he would tell him about it some other time. Once Carlos pulls over at the parking lot of Dela Vega Group, he gets rushed by property manager and is surprised to learn of how his father had ordered for the perfectly working car to be disposed of.
Gabriel deliberates with his loved ones about his latest discovery and speculates that Carlos might be the one who k!lled Victoria. Roman fires property manager upon learning that he had lied to him. Carlos begins to pester his father with questions about the car and his mother’s death.
He later receives a phone call from the police telling him about the bag that had been found near the staircase of the fire exit of Milton Hotel. The scoundrel gloats silently and charges the officer to update him on the progress of the investigation. In no time, Gabriel is summoned to the police station to take a DNA test to compare to the evidence.
From there, he reaches out to his lawyer about the turn of events and he’s told that the Dela Vegas are probably trying to pin Victoria’s death on him. Roman appoints for himself a new property manager and orders him to drive the car of interest out of town and never come back.
At home, Maila receives an anonymous apology letter and Marilyn insinuates that she might have a secret admirer.The manager of the mall pushes for Gabriel to tell him about the argument he had with Carlos the other day and he fills him in on the root cause. The boss then promises to protect him as long as he works for him.
Maila deliberates with her family about the anonymous letter she had received earlier, suspecting that it’s from the runaway witness. Gabriel resolves to give the crime lab his DNA sample to prove his innocence and Rigor subtly gloats. Later at the crime lab, he encounters Carlos who picks a fight with him as usual.
Maila seeks her lawyer’s counsel about the letter and figures that the witness had been forced to disappear. She hopes he changes his mind and resurfaces to do the right thing. In the meantime, Carlos lashes out at Rigor after the DNA test result came out inconclusive.Roman offers to lend his misëräble son a hand but Carlos decides to use the trump card he has.
He’s taken by surprise with Isabel’s sudden return to the company. The doofus bogus witness proceeds to give his preposterous testimony against Gabriel at the police station and he gets arrested in no time. Lydia gets distressed with her grandson’s situation, but Carlos and Roman celebrate with gladness.
Gabriel discusses his case with his lawyer who notes that they’re going to need a witness to prove that he wasn’t at the crime scene in order to prove his innocence. Carlos meets up with the bogus witness to coach him on how to handle the questions the police is bound to ask him. The crook takes the opportunity to extort more money from him and Carlos warns him not to mess up in court.
