Vida Kicks Janine Out Of Her Land. Yvonne Resolves To Make Her Husband & His Mistress Suffer. Victor Finally Has His Marriage Annulled.
Victor brings Janine a cheque to support the money she needs to give her aunt Vida to buy the land. Since the money isn’t even near enough, he considers leaving so her aunt won’t push through with her plans.
However, Janine objects to the idea and states that they would deal with the matter together. Later, while she has a talk with Carla about how to come up with enough money to meet her aunt’s demands, Vida shows up with her team to seize the land.
Janine pleads for a little more time to come up with the money and Vida reprimands her, saying that she should consider it as punishment for all of the foolish things she’s done. She then dismisses her and her working staff and demands that they pack up all their things and leave her property.
Janine returns home later that night in such a miserable state and Victor gives her comfort.Yvonne proceeds to file her case against her husband and mistress, vowing to make them suffer a great deal.
Later, she goes with her mother to visit Jaime’s grave and her mother counsels her against her anger for Victor which could affect Marcus’ relationship with his father. Yvonne resolves to improve herself with the help of her good friend Albert.
As Janine has hit rock bottom and is in a very tight spot, Yvonne attends a couple of Albert’s seminars and he has her partnered up with him on a particular case. They head out onto the field where Albert leaves Yvonne alone to sell some insurance deals. Initially, she struggles to make any sales but eventually gets someone who’s interested.
Yvonne receives an unwelcome visit from Victor who pleads that she let him set up a business on their conjugal property for the sake of Marcus so he could get a trust fund for him to secure his future. Yvonne gets pretty upset and berates her miserable husband.
As Victor rants nonstop about the right he has to half of their properties, Yvonne snaps, grabs a kñifë and brandishes it, all the while lashing out at him for trying to use their son to get what he wants.After kicking him out, Yvonne ponders over what had just happened.
Janine’s loan application to stat up another business is declined by the bank on account of her tax issues. Victor’s attempt to get her to relax breeds an argument. Sonia counsels Yvonne to tell her son the truth about her relationship with her husband and make him understand.
Victor and Janine reconcile after their recent falling-out and Yvonne spies on them and vows to frustrate her husband’s intention of settling down with his other family. Janine spots her and stares at her for a while before she drives away.
In no time, she worriedly tells Victor about the incident and later goes to see Yvonne with the hope of settling their issues so her daughter doesn’t get dragged into it.As expected, Yvonne berates her but agrees to not involve their children in their issues. An exchange of words ensue and Yvonne chases off Janine.
Victor reaches out to Louie for assistance with his situation and he offers to help him speed up the annulment process. Yvonne remains determined to make sure that her miserable husband doesn’t get a single cent from the sale of their properties.
Louie brings Victor and Janine a lawyer to handle their case and they pay him off for his services. At home, it doesn’t take long for Yvonne to receive a delivery; a document which declares her marriage with Victor null and void. Yvonne is shocked.
Janine is relieved that her løver boy is now free but Victor still worries that he could go to jail for the concubinage case. Yvonne mopes around at home all day crying her eyes out. When Marcus presses her for answers, she reveals that his father had left them and would never be coming back.
Marcus consoles his mother and promises to never leave her. The next morning, Marcus sits dejectedly by himself after school and when Victor shows up to talk to him, he snubs him and stating that he had left him and his mother, Marcus demands that his miserable father leave him alone.
