Gabriel Is Willed One Million Pesos From Victoria & Suffers Strong Opposition From The Dela Vegas. Lydia Is Hospitalized. Roman & Carlos Connive Against Rigor & Gabriel.
Grandma Lydia suffers a dizzy spell and Rigor attends to her and urges her to go and see the doctor. Lydia is reluctant to trouble Gabriel any further with more expenses and Rigor shows off the money he had earned last night, telling her to go and dress up already so he could take her to the hospital.
Meanwhile, Gabriel is updated by the police about the vehicle belonging to Roman’s company which had been caught on camera at the hotel. Gabriel’s lawyer notes that they won’t have a case if they can’t use that evidence.
Lydia is checked on at the hospital and counseled on things to do to maintain her health and keep her blood pressure in check. Rigor then urges her to stop working and just rest at home.
When he begins whining to the doctor about how his mother always puts Gabriel first, Lydia recounts Rigor’s knack for trouble, stating that he’s the one who always causes her blood pressure to rise.Rigor makes a solemn promise not to cause any more trouble.
In the meantime, Victoria’s lawyer Abella, meets up with Roman to inform him of the money his wife had left for her “son” before her death. While Gabriel is making deliberate efforts to talk his grandma into taking her medicine, Roman notifies Carlos about the interesting turn of events.
He whines about how Victoria had been stealing from him, declaring that he would never let “that bastard” get even a single cent of the money. Isabel actually has the time to confront Bianca as soon as she leaves her workplace.
She accuses her of ruining her name and Bianca argues that she had just been doing her job. Nevertheless, Isabel whines like a brat and vows to make her pay for everything she’s lost. Bianca then puts her in her place before walking out on her.
In no time, Gabriel receives a phone call from lawyer Abella who tells him of the inheritance Victoria had left him.Carlos throws a childish tantrum over the money his mother had left Gabriel. He whines to Rigor about it and vows not to let him get anything.
Gabriel informs Bianca about the good news and she mentions that Roman and Carlos won’t let him have the inheritance so easily because of their hatred towards him. Gabriel states that she has a right to it because his “mother” left the money for him.
Later in the conference room at the Dela Vega Building, Gabriel meets up with the lawyer and the Dela Vegas. It is revealed that he’s to receive one million pesos in the event of Victoria’s death. Vicky had left him the money because she felt guilty for all the trouble she caused him.
Carlos begins belittling Gabriel and his family while Roman expresses his disapproval and vows to contest the will. Later at home, Gabriel shares the news of his good fortune with the rest of his loved ones.
Gabriel looks forward to finishing school with his inheritance and starting a business for the entire family. It doesn’t take long for lawyer Abella to notify him of the case Roman had filed to have Victoria’s holographic will dismissed by the court. Gabriel resolves to let go of the fortune and focus on the mürdër investigation.
Carlos gloats and later connives with his father to get Rigor imprisoned for what he did to Maila and frame Gabriel for Victoria’s death. Upon arrival home, Rigor picks a fight with Gabriel for declining the one million pesos inheritance.
It takes a toll on Lydia who ends up getting admitted at the hospital. As Gabriel strives to figure out a way to pay his grandma’s hospital bills which amounts to half a million, Rigor reaches out to Carlos for help but he refuses to lift a finger and turns him away.
While Bianca makes a futile attempt to get her boss’ help, Gabriel reaches out to Derek to accept his initial offer to join his team. Roman charges his attorney to find incriminating evidence against Gabriel. Carlos declares that he would take care of it.
