“Daniela already made a mistake by underestimating me. She might be cunning, but I am a sharpshooter. I’m doing all this to clear my name. And Robert’s. I will not stop until I get justice for his dëäth. We’ll start with his own daughter – Daniela. Because of her big mouth, I know exactly where to find the very thing that could bring her down.”
Romina and Daniela were still exchanging words when Carlos came between them. Carlos asked Mina to stop and Mina told him that his wife had started it. “Jude, arrest this woman,” Danny girl said.
“Quick reminder,” Mina taunted. “You are the one who came here to make a scene. Jude, as an honourable policeman, how would you suggest I deal with a troublemaker like your sister-in-law?”
Kulas arrived on the scene and so did some others neighbors who came to back up Romina. Daniela then left with her family while Jude dragged his misëräble one-eyed-old man away. Daniela arrived home with Carlos and Marga. She and her bratty daughter started ranting on about what had just happened at Navotas. “I won’t let her get away with humiliating me,” Danny girl said.
“Will you please stop?” Carlos said. “Daniela, you keep yapping. Marga, go to your room.”
Marga went upstairs and Carlos followed. Daniela stayed back and made a phone call. “Hello Mrs. Galvez…we have to do something about Romina.”
“What exactly do you have in mind?”
“Convince the board to hold a meeting for the CEO position before Romina entrenches herself again.”
“Okay. I’ll see what I can do.”
Back at Navotas, Romina thanked her neighbors for having her back, and Jepoy told her that there was no need because she had done so much for them. “I made the right decision by coming back here,” Mina sang.
“Even when they were still living in Kulas’ house, Daniela always annoyed me,” an old woman began. “Don’t worry, Romina. If that snob comes back here, l’ll pour laundry water all over her.”
The neighbors burst out laughing and Mina laughed along with them. “The nerve of Mr. Kulas took her side,” Neil commented.
“It’s because his son Carlos has also become a snob like them,” a woman said.
“He really has changed,” Bonita added. “Instead of keeping his wife and daughter under control, he just let’s them do what they want.”
“I think everyone changes,” Mina cut in. “I’m not the same woman they used to trample on. No matter where they want to take the fight, I will not back down.”
“What if the whole board is now on Daniela’s side?”
“I will not allow Daniela to win this, Bonita.”
Cassie was dressed up for school the next morning. As she stared at an empty seat at the dining table, she flashed back to some moments she had had with her father. Mina came over and asked what was wrong, and Cassie told her that they used to have breakfast together with her father, as a family. “I’ll make things better,” Mina assured me. “Even if your dad is no longer with us. Don’t think about what happened last night. Hey, what’s wrong?”
“I just miss daddy. I wish he was still with us, ma.”
Romina then had a phone. “Hello, Bernard.”
“Everything is ready. Just like you asked.”
“That’s good. I’m on my way.”
Daniela ran into Savannah at Camila’s hallway. “Are they all here?” she asked.
“Yes,” Savvi replied. “But…”
“But what?”
“See for yourself.”
Daniela walked into the conference room to find Romina making a presentation to the board. She then proposed that they elect the company’s new CEO. “I agree,” Mina said. “And I think the new CEO should continue Robert’s legacy. And I believe that’s me.”
“You must be joking,” Daniela lamented. “I deserve the position more than you do. I’ve accomplished so much in a short time. And you’re yet to prove your innocence regarding the dëäth of my father.”
“Innocent until proven guilty. We will find out who is really responsible for mürdëriñg Robert. Because of you, the company was almost closed down. Do you call that an accomplishment?”
“How dare you?”
“I’m not done yet,” Mina taunted. “I have pairs of heels that are higher than your accomplishments. You want to become CEO, yet you put the entire company in danger.”
Mr. Torre, a board member voted for Daniela, telling Mina that he would risk Daniela’s bad publicity over her trial. Romina started flirting with Mr. Torre. She started caressing his hand, and then she dropped her hand down to his knee and carried on with her stunt. “You might want to rethink your stance. So you were saying?”
Mr. Torre stared at Mina as if in a trance. “I think we should consider your application for the position.”
“Thank you, Mr. Torre. Who’s next? Mrs. Estellor, what’s your decision? Oh by the way, how’s your driver? I heard he put up a huge house. You’re such a generous employer. So what’s your decision?” (Translation : I know you built a house for your driver with the money Daniela bribed you with)
“I also agree we should consider your application as the new CEO,” Mrs. Estellor said.
Mina chuckled. “Daniela, we could do this all day. I’m sure they will all agree that I will be considered for the position of CEO.”
“No, you can’t consider her as CEO,” Danny girl grumbled.
“That’s not for you to decide,” a board member stated. “Romina contributed a great deal to the company’s success, that’s why her application for CEO should be considered.”
Daniela stormed out and Mrs. Galvez followed. The board then postponed the meeting. At the mansion, Esther asked Marga what she wanted to have for breakfast, and Marga started bïtçhiñg when she mentioned her grandpa’s name, saying that Romina had k!lled him. Daniela confronted Romina after the meeting and accused her of being a flirt.
“Maybe you’re right,” Mina teased. “What are you gonna do about it?”
“I can play whatever game you want to.”
“Someone once told me, you should win the war before you fight. You’re too late, Daniela. Because I already know I’ve won.”
“It’s not over until I say so, Romina.”
Bonita came over with Bernard and congratulated Mina as Daniela walked away. “It wouldn’t have been possible if you hadn’t tipped me off about the board members,” Mina said.
“I’m friends with the secretaries,” Bonita said. “They know all their dirty secrets.”
“We can’t celebrate yet,” Bernard cut in. “Until you become the new CEO.”

Cassie and Kristoff were having a talk about what had happened at Navotas the night before when they saw Marga giving away some presents. Marga asked the Mean Squad to go shopping with her and Nadya asked where she was getting all the money. Marga held up Cassie’s credit card. “You’re using my allowance to shop?” Cassie asked in disbelief. “I gave you that to pay for the painting I destroyed. But if you’re just going to use it to shop, you should give it back.”
“I didn’t force you to give it to me. And I’ll spend your money as I see fit.”
“On useless things?”
Kristoff shook his head in disbelief as Marga bitçhëd some more before leaving with the Mean Squad. Daniela noticed Hector at Camila and confronted him for showing up there. Hector told her that the place was secluded but Daniela was upset that he had barged into her home, and now her office.
“You can’t avoid me forever,” Hector teased. “Drop the tough chick act. You don’t scare me.”
“What do you need?” Danny girl asked.
“I want to know why Cassie left the mansion. What’s your plan?”
“I’m not planning anything. It was that bästärd’s decision to leave with the mother. I’m thinking of a way to send Romina back to prison. You won’t get anything from Cassie as long as her mother is there.”
“You think I’m not doing anything? I’m trying to come up with ideas.”
“Then you should be glad, because I have a plan. I need you to tell me that you’ll help me first before I tell you. And you better not mess up either.”
“Daniela, if I need to do it myself in order for it to happen, I’ll do it. Anything to get rid of Romina.”
Marga went shopping with the Mean Squad and paid everything with Cassie’s credit card. An attendant came over and asked whether she had enough funds in her account since the card had been declined. “Of course I do,” Marga said. “Just try again.”
The attendant came back after another try. “I’m sorry, ma’am. But your card was declined again.”
“What? Just try again. I’m sure there’s a mistake.”
“Didn’t you bring any cash, Marga?” Nadya asked. “Let’s use my card. This is embarrassing.”
The attendant came back after yet another try. “I’m sorry, ma’am. But your card keeps getting denied. If you are Cassandra Mondragon, then why did your friend call you Marga?”
Daniela met up with Savannah and told her about Hector. Savvi suggested that she rat him out along with his brother but Daniela told her she couldn’t because Romina would reopen her case if Alvin ever admitted that he wasn’t Cassie’s real father. “She’s giving me enough problems already,” Danny girl barked.
In Romina’s office, Bernard told her that she was making progress. He then asked whether she really wanted to become CEO, and Mina told him that that was the only way to secure the company’s future. “And most of all, Cassie’s,” Mina added.
“But Daniela won’t just hand you the position,” Bernard pointed out.
“I know. But if I don’t get this, then she can easily have me fired. Not just me, but everyone who has supported me as well.”
Back at the rendezvous point, Savannah asked Daniela what her plan was. “I just have to play along,” Danny girl said. “I’ll use Hector and his brother. I won’t let the truth about Cassie’s identity come out.”
“And your next move is?”
“To Romina, and her brat. It’s the only way to end this once and for all.”
Back at Romina’s office, Bernard reminded her that she still had another case to settle and Mina told him that she had never forgotten about it. “I’m doing all this to clear my name,” Mina said. “And Robert’s. I will not stop until I get justice for his dëäth.”
“Where do you want to start?”
“Right here in this company. We’ll start with his own daughter – Daniela.”
Back at the shop, the attendant brought in a security personnel and he asked who had used the stolen card. The Mean Squad ditched Marga and left her alone to deal with her mess. “Come with me to the precinct,” the man said. “You’re so young, but you’re already a thief. Stealing is a crime.”
“What? I’m no thief,” Marga objected. “I’m just shopping. There was a problem with the card.”
Cassie came in just then. “I am Cassandra Mondragon. I’m the owner of that card.”
“Do you know this girl? She used a stolen ATM card.”
“She’s my sister Daniela’s daughter. This was just a misunderstanding. I’ll handle it.”
Marga started bïtçhiñg as the man left. “Did you do this just to humiliate me? You gave me the card. Why are you acting like I stole it? You have no right to it because it is my grandpa’s money.”
“Which one of us is spending money which isn’t theirs, Marga?” Cassie snatched her card from Marga’s hand. “No matter what you say, I am daddy’s daughter. Besides, I never gave you anything. You forcefully took this from me.”
Carlos arrived at Primarosa and he was upset to find that Castro had been promoted to the assistant manager position over him. He confronted his boss and the man told him that he hadn’t seemed interested, and neither had he made any effort. “I don’t blame you,” the boss said. “You don’t need to work since your wife can provide for you.”
“Don’t insult me,” Carlos hissed. “I’ll make sure you’ll regret this decision.”
During the drive home, Marga was bïtçhiñg to Maureen on the phone about how she was going to get back at Cassie for humiliating her. She noticed Cassie standing by the roadside. After ordering the driver to stop, Marga poured a cup of coffee on Cassie and bitçhëd some more before leaving. Kristoff came over a second later and offered Cassie a rag.
Cassie declined the offer and Kristoff managed to convince her to take her home since no taxi driver would let her in their car since she was all wet. Romina assured Bernard that she wouldn’t do anything that would be used against her in her trial, and that everything would be over once the real culprit was caught. Kristoff took public transport with Cassie.
Kristoff bought some stuff from a kid and took a selfie of themselves, saying that he hadn’t ridden in public transport before. The car bumped into something and Cassie was forced to hold onto Kristoff to steady herself. Hector was upset that his brother had confronted Marga over what had happened to Cassie.
He told Alvin that he had already addressed the issue and he shouldn’t do anything to piss off Daniela since they needed her to get Cassie’s money. Kristoff brought Cassie home and she thanked him. After he left, Neil asked her whether Kristoff was courting her and Cassie told him that they were just friends.
“He just accompanied me home,” Cassie said.
“And why did he have to do that?” Neil asked. “Is he a human GPS you need for finding your way back home?”
“Uncle, I’m serious.”
“I’m just asking. He wouldn’t have accompanied you if he wasn’t concerned about you, right?”
“Uncle, we’re just friends. Take you and Gino for instance. He’s concerned about you even though you’re just friends.”
“Hey, don’t drag me and Gino into this. Alright. I’ll take your word for it. But if he starts messaging you before going to bed, that might mean something else.”
Lo and behold, Cassie received a text message from Kristoff after Neil left to go get changed : “Goodnight, Cassie. See you tomorrow,” it read. Cassie smiled.
Kulas complained about how Carlos had let the promotion get past him. He advised him to use his wife’s connections to get ahead. Meanwhile, Romina and Bonita were in Daniela’s office, rummaging through her stuff. Bonita asked what they were looking for and Mina told her that they needed to find evidence because she suspected Daniela was involved in Robert’s dëäth.
Daniela walked down the hallway of Camila with Savannah, telling her that she had come back to the office because she had forgotten to log out of her laptop and she didn’t want Romina to find anything she could use against her. Back in Daniela’s office, Romina and Bonita overheard Savannah yapping. Mina looked on, horrified. Daniela and Savannah entered the office a moment later and found it deserted. Romina and Bonita were hiding behind a file cabinet.
Daniela glanced at some files on the desk. “Someone touched my files,” she said.
“You’re paranoid,” Savannah admonished. “Danny, there’s no one else here. But I’m not surprised. You do have a lot of secrets.”
“There’s one thing Romina can’t know. If she finds out, all my efforts will go to waste.”
At their hiding place, Romina glanced at Bonita in shock and confusion. “Danny, don’t tell me you still have the results with you. You should have disposed of it right away.”
“I never got the time. I can’t toss it away either.”
“Having the document is more dangerous. Don’t tell me you left it here in your office.”
“I’m not that stüpïd, Savannah. It’s at home. But I have to make sure they don’t get anything from my office.”
After Daniela and Savannah left, Bonita suggested to Romina that she confront Daniela over what she had just said. “She won’t admit it,” Mina pointed out. “She’ll try her best to hide it. And I’m sure she will do everything to destroy the document they were talking about.”
“So what you going to do?”
“I’m going to thank Daniela.”
“Huh? Why?”
“Because of her big mouth, I know exactly where to find the very thing that could bring her down.”
Carlos arrived home and Marga started bïtçhiñg about how Cassie had humiliated her. Carlos told her to talk things over with Cassie because he had enough problems already. Marga bitçhëd some more and Carlos got upset and yelled at her. Carlos then apologized and bratty daughter said it was fine because she was getting used to it. That night, Romina went to the mansion and asked the guard (she had beaten up earlier) to let her in because the house was in her name. The guard told her that he couldn’t because he was following orders.
Inside the mansion, the prosecutor told Daniela over the phone that the judge had set a date for Romina’s trial. Daniela assured him that she would be there because she didn’t want to miss any opportunity to see ‘that woman’ suffer. Outside the mansion, Romina was trying to find a way in when she noticed the dog (who had chased her earlier) prowling and growling. Mina stared silently. Back inside, Daniela called Hector on the phone. “Carry out the plan. Romina’s trial is set for the day after tomorrow. You better not fail.”
After the call, Danny girl took out the DNA test of herself and Cassie. Carlos came in just then and noticed it and she told him that the document was for work. Carlos stared suspiciously. Alvin and a few other of Hector’s goons infiltrated the delivery team of Camila. Alvin paid off one of the guys and told him to make sure that no one ever found out that they weren’t all employees of Camila. He then called his brother and told him that everything was ready. Back at the mansion, Daniela put the DNA test into a paper shredder. A maid came in and she ordered her to take out the trash.
“Now, no one will discover your secret, dad,” Danny girl thought to herself. “Cassie will remain a bästärd.” Danny girl smiled wickedly as the maid dumped the now tattered DNA test paper into the trashcan.
The next morning, Cassie gave her mother her credit card and told her to use it. “I’m sorry it took me a while to give it to you. I just got it back from Marga.”
“What do you mean?” Mina asked.
“I accidentally destroyed one of their paintings, and I offered to pay for it. I didn’t expect Marga to take it…”
“Cassie, they had no right to do that. You should have told me about it. Those two had no right to take your money.”
“I’m sorry, ma. I didn’t want to add to your problems.”
“Cassie, I’m sorry. You’re not the one I’m frustrated with. I just don’t want you to keep things like this to yourself.” Mina returned her credit card. “Keep your money. Your dad left it for you.”
“But I know you’ll need all the money you can get to clear your name,” Cassie argued. “So we can take back everything they stole from us.”
“I’m not doing all this for the material things. This is about justice. I need to do this for the sake of your future and your welfare. I hope you understand, dear.”
Cassie nodded. “Yes, mamma.”
Romina then had a phone call from Bonita, who told her about the problems they were having with their corned beef. “Our customers say they’ve got food poisøñing.”
Romina, Daniela and the rest of the board watched the news in the conference room about the food poisøñing. Daniela started blaming Mina and the workers she had fired before for the situation. Mina told her not to start passing blame around. A board member asked for the way forward and Mina announced that she had already started an investigation into the matter. She added that they needed to make an official statement to the public and help the victims.
“It’s your mess,” Danny girl barked. “You clean it up.”
“Daniela, I’m not asking you to do me a favor,” Mina stated. “It’s your department’s duty to protect the company’s name and the brand’s image.”
“Romina’s right,” said a board member. “A problem like this affects the entire company.”
“Just tell us if we need to look for another person to do your job,” Mina said to Daniela. “Or you could simply resign if your intentions aren’t aligned with the company’s interest.”
At Maxwell, some guys were teasing Kristoff with Cassie since he had taken her out earlier. They asked whether he was really courting her, and Kristoff told them that he would have løvëd to. “Not right now,” Kristoff said. “Cassie’s got tons of problems now. And I don’t wanna add to them. I just wanna be there for her as much as possible.”
“That’s cool,” one of the guys said. “But what if she puts you in the friend zone?”
“It’s just a zone, not a jail cell.”
“Nice one,” said the other guy. “I like that.”
Maureen sat at a table some distance away, and she had heard the entire exchange. “Oh my God,” she said to herself.
Daniela was in the courtroom, talking to Savannah on phone about how everything was going according to her plan for Romina. “What plan?” Savvi asked.
“Not only will she be unable to attend her hearing,” Danny girl said. “But her reputation is ruined too.”
“Well done, Danny girl. That’s what I call a perfect plan.”
“Make sure she won’t be able to attend. Do everything you can to stop her. That way, I can ensure that her bail will be revoked. And she’ll go right back to jail.”
“Don’t worry. I’ll take care of it.”
After the phone call, Bernard came into the courtroom. “Here you are,” Danny mocked. “While the entire company’s in chaos.”
“What’s the meaning of this?” Bernard asked.
“Let’s just say that Romina won’t be able to make it.” Daniela took a seat to wait for the others, and so did Bernard. From where he sat, Bernard turned to glance at Daniela.
