“You rebels are nothing but a bunch of mũrdêrers! You’re nothing but a plague k!lling our society!! You deserve nothing…but dëāth!!!”
Lucas plots with his partners in crime to destroy the reputation of Oscar as soon as the mourning period is over. He’s soon sworn in as the new president in front of the media and he basks in the warm reception he’s given. He then gives a speech and promises to bring peace to the nation and put a stop to the ‘menace’ that is the Vendetta.
Billy worries about what would become of the country now that Lucas is the president, and General Borja declares that they must keep fighting for what is right. Somewhere in Baseco, Patrick and his buddies deal with some clients of theirs. They’re caught by some policemen and they split up to escape. The officers chase them down individually, and one of the guys gets hit in the leg.
Patrick is urged and compelled to fight back and he ends up gunning down the officer who had been pursuing them. The guys run off from the scene and seek refuge from Rosa. They hand over the money, with Patrick acting so edgy. When they tell her of how Patrick had k!lled a policeman, Rosa kicks them out.
Upon Patrick’s return home, he leaves the güñ somewhere for the owner to find.Alyana is distressed over the current situation of her husband’s group. She reminds him about his promises and Cardo assures her that he would fulfill every single one of them. However, they have to finish their mission first since their very future depends on it.
The next morning, the members of the Vendetta discuss the implication of Lucas as the new president. The guys worry that their movement might be restricted. Diana mentions that Lucas would probably strengthen the armed forces to protect him and make sure that he doesn’t lose power.
Speaking of, Lucas meets up with his allies and appoints Hipolito as secretary for the environment agency and General Terante as the new Chief of the PNP. Lucas assures the rest of his allies that they would all be approved and given positions in the government.
Terante declares that by the end of the month, he would capture every member of the Vendetta. Speaking of, Cardo and his comrades continue to discuss the situation of the president. They dread the fact that Lucas would make sure Oscar doesn’t get back to the Palace alive.
Teddy shows the article he had written to his family and in spite of his wife’s misgivings, he leaves home to continue his job hunt. Lucas and his partners in crime delight in the success of their plans. Hipolito is assigned to take care of the state funeral for the Hidalgo family while Terante deals with Cardo and the Vendetta.
The delusional lamebrain Oscar still plans to escape and reach out to Lucas for help in order to deal with the Vendetta once and for all. Thousands of people flock to the cathedral where the state funeral of Oscar and his family will be conducted. At the hospital, the doctor checks up on Aubrey and she’s glad to find that her vital signs are improving.
Alyana and Bubbles bring Oscar some breakfast and Melba convinces him to join them for breakfast. Oscar begins grumbling about the crimes Cardo and his comrades have been committing and when Alyana declares that her husband isn’t a bad person, he states that he’s still a criminal all the same.
In the meantime, Patrick meets up with his buddies and threatens to deal with them if they snitch on him about the officer he had k!lled.Lucas calls General Borja into his office to question him about the whereabouts of his grandson and his group. When he gets nothing, Lucas vows to put the Vendetta behind bars along with their allies, and that includes Delfin.
At the hideout, Jerome and Diana propose to Cardo that they inform General Borja about President Hidalgo being alive so Lucas won’t be able to control the entire government.
“If they find out that the president is alive, it might be too late,” Diana declares.
Hipolito informs Lucas that everything is ready for the lying in state of the former president and his family.
“This is the last show,” Lucas states. “Right after this, the legacy of the Hidalgos will be erased. It will be buried alongside their corpses.”
“What do we do with the remaining daughter?” Terante asks.
“I plan to get rid of Aubrey soon.”
“Consider her deãd, Mr. President.”
Marie informs her boyfriend about the president’s presence at her house and swears him to secrecy. Noel is initially shocked. He tries to convince her to go on a date with him but she declines. In the meantime, Vendetta and their allies discuss about the president and hope that he will soon come to his senses and acknowledge their cause. And once he gets back into power, he would be able to restore peace and order in the country.
While Lucas arrives at the cathedral with some officers carrying the remains of the Hidalgos, Oscar makes a pathetic and futile attempt to convince Jerome and Soriano to help him escape. Oscar thinks the Vendetta has brainwashed the officers into believing in their cause. Jerome refuses to help him, stating that he would be much safer with them. Back at the cathedral, Lucas orders the coffin of the burnt fake president to be opened.
“Now the whole country will see the disgrace Dalisay and Vendetta has done…to President Oscar Hidalgo.”
The civilians standing by begin whispering among themselves as they behold the remains of the charred fake president. Some random emotional woman comes up to Lucas and urges him to catch the Vendetta. Lucas tolerates and indulges her, and he allows her to hug him before giving Hipolito the signal to take her away. At the hideout, Diana considers letting the country know that the president is alive.
Romulo objects to Diana’s idea since they haven’t yet figured out the group that tried to ässãssiñate Oscar, though they suspect that Lucas and Hipolito might have ordered it. Jerome calls Delfin on phone and assures him that Vendetta weren’t involved in the attempted assåssiñatiøn of the president. The General is shocked to learn that the president is still alive.
“We have him with us. He was rescued by Cardo.”
“What do you mean he’s still alive?” Delfin asks. “Whose burnt body was recovered from the crime scene?”
“The people involved faked the president’s dëāth,” Jerome states. “The vice president was behind it.”
General Borja charges Jerome to make sure that the president is safe at all times. A moment later, Oscar silently slips by Jerome and Soriano and begins to make his escape. Jerome and Soriano search the room when they notice the president missing. They notify Cardo and the others, and they all grab their güñs and begin to give chase.
Our favorite hero and his comrades eventually trap Oscar at the foot of the river. The way Cardo points his güñ at Oscar is too extreme and unnecessary. He points out to him that he has nowhere to go. And can’t swim all the way. Anyway, Teddy begins to work on another article at home. Back in Baseco, Oscar is dragged back to the hideout and he begins throwing a fit again.

Cardo glares at Oscar with his signature scowl. “What you think of us is false. It’s true that we k!lled people, but those people have done nothing but abuse and hurt our fellow countrymen!”
Diana and Ramil make a futile attempt to reason with Oscar and convince him that he’s being held for his own safety. Romulo orders the guys to keep an eye on the president at all times and to make sure that he doesn’t escape.
George gets his hands on a rope and carelessly tries to tie Oscar’s hand. However, Oscar snatches his güñ and uses him as a body shield and gives off some warning shots. The commotion brings over Cardo and the others who look on as President Hidalgo escapes.
