Emman & Celine Are Rescued. Anton Is Blackmailed After His Attempt To K!ll A Potential Threat.
The episode begins with Bernie walking around the city and calling Annalyne on the phone. Annalyne grudgingly answers and Bernie apologizes for their argument the other night. He reveals that he’s going to buy tickets to leave for Manila. Annalyne questions his decision and in no time, their talk turns into an exchange of words. Bernie hangs up in a heartbeat.
Annalyne accidentally knocks Arnold down with the wheelchair she had been steering and she apologizes profusely and helps him up with the assistance of another nurse. At home, Nick is compelled to reward a nosy neighbor with a punch to the face when he consistently makes mockery of the misfortunes of his sons. Sam and Caloy have a hard time finding a lead on the whereabouts of Emman and Celine.
Sam calls Anton to ask for updates on the search and he tells her that the coast guard and the military are currently doubling down on the search and rescue. He would continue to hound them until they gave Celine back to him. Celine observes Emman as he continues to make the raft. Suddenly, they hear a peculiar yet familiar sound nearby.
A helicopter comes flying and Emman and Celine try to get the attention of the pilot or passengers. Fernando “Andoy” spies on Anton as he has a talk with his sister about Emman and Celine both being alive. The rotten Hernandez siblings go and see Celine at the hospital and they put up a front to find out whether the parents of Robbie had discovered any damming evidence that might incriminate them.
Celine merely tells Anton that she and Emman would be able to identify the men that åttaçked them. Before Emman leaves, Celine thanks him for everything he did for her. In an undisclosed location, Robbie startles awake after having a nightmare about his father. He begins making a fuss and asking to be let out and taken back to his parents.
Emman calls Sam to assure her that he’s fine. He informs her of his plan to look for Fernando “Andoy”, Sonya’s husband, and Anton listens in and tries to convince him to help. Emman reluctantly reveals that the deãd nanny was the one who had tipped them off about where the kidñappërs had been hiding Robbie and the other kids.
Again, Anton asks to help with his plan to get information from Sonya’s husband but Emman insists that they can handle things without him. In the meantime, Andoy recalls how Anton had k!lled his wife and he vows to make him pay. Amelia has a talk with Celine about how a mother is always concerned with the welfare of their kids.
Amelia puts on an act and tells Celine that she’s impressed with her ‘never give up’ attitude despite all the troubles she’s been dealt with. Celine states that it is so because as mothers, they need to stay strong and stable for their children, and that she’s sure that she is also doing the same thing for Lester. Amelia fakes a smile.
Major Francisco searches for information on Andoy and sends it to Anton. In no time, Anton arrives at Andoy’s address and grabs his güñ to go and finish him off. A moment later, Emman arrives with Sam and Caloy in tow and they notice Anton’s car parked nearby.
Back at the hospital, Amelia tells Celine that she admires Robbie because he was smart enough to leave a clue behind about where he had been taken next. Celine says they can’t afford to give up even if they have to face a syndicate with powerful protectors. They all need to pay for what they’ve done to her son.
Emman and Sam go in search of Fernando and they run into Anton there. Later, they worry about how to find Fernando since he seems to be in hiding. The issue of how Anton had found the address comes up and they realize that it was through his police connections.
Emman worries about how to tell Celine of their failure to find Fernando and Sam tries to ease his anxiety. She states that after all his sacrifices and hardships, no one can ever question his determination to find his son, not even Celine. Amelia calls Leo to thank him for the favor she had done for her brother by mobilizing the military to find Celine.
Anton hands Amelia the note he had found at Fernando’s place. It’s a blackmail message addressed to Anton, detailing how Fernando knows of his family’s connection to the child trafficking syndicate, and the fact that his family is also involved in the kĩdnäppiñg of Celine’s son.
In the note, Fernando has asked for the 30 million ransom money to be given to him lest he spill the beans. Emman meets up with his father to catch up and talk about the search for Robbie. He asks his brother and Nick struggles to tell him of what had happened while he was away.
Celine is distressed after having a nightmare about her son being deãd and Anton strives to calm her down. Right there and then, he receives a phone call and claiming that it’s his sister, he steps out to answer.Over the phone, Fernando threatens to expose Anton’s involvement in Robbie’s kĩdnäppiñg to Emman if he doesn’t give him the money he had requested.
Speaking of, Emman tells Nick that he should have tried to understand Bernie. He sympathizes with how his imprisonment had turned his brother’s life upside down and asks that his father would let him know once he gets into contact with him. Celine bombards Anton with questions upon his return and noticing his demeanor.
She thinks he might have argued with his sister about her or Robbie and Anton assures her that she isn’t hiding anything from her. A flashback reveals how Anton had agreed to meet up with Fernando tomorrow at the memorial. If he doesn’t bring all the 30 million, Fernando would expose all the dirty secrets of his family.
While Bernie continues his journey in Manila, Anton questions Celine, asking if she had done something with Emman when they had been stranded on the island. He throws a fit and Celine assures him that nothing happened. Anton points out that she was the one who had given new meaning to his life, so he would do anything to keep her in his life. He would k!ll or dīê for her.
Celine assures Anton that she would never leave him. When Emman returns to the hotel room, Sam admonishes him for going out without informing her and making her worry. Emman asks why she’s worried so much and Sam tells him that it’s because he’s important to her. A flashback from two years ago reveals how Emman had turned Sam down because he was still in lövê with Celine.
Sam had been quite emotional and devastated. Presently, Caloy shows up to also reprimand Emman for disappearing on them earlier and he apologizes and promises to let them know whenever he’s going out. Emman then asks if Marcelo has anything new to share with them. At the NIA, Marcelo types away on his computer and he gets excited when he eventually finds information on Fernando.
