“You’re a bunch of bãstårds! You k!lled my innocent family! I will make sure that you will all rot in prison! Save me from the hands of Vendetta. Find me before it’s too late. Lucas, what are you doing? I’m alive. I’m still alive!”
While General Borja cautions his men about who to trust in their current situation, Hipolito also cautions VP Cabrera to watch out for General Borja since he would investigate what had happened and dig out all the evidence. Lucas is complacent and confident of becoming the most powerful man in the country. He would then be able to get rid of all his enemies.
The members of the Vendetta discuss the sad plight of President Hidalgo and the misfortune his family had suffered. Inside, Oscar finally wakes up and Nico hurries to alert the guys and they rush in. Oscar beholds the Vendetta and accuses them of what had happened to his family. When he learns that they’re all gone, he breaks down emotionally.
President Hidalgo cuts short his drama and branding the Vendetta as mũrdêrers, he declares that they would all pay for their crimes. At the city hall, some random lamebrain begins to cause trouble at Grandma Flora’s eatery by accusing Cardo and the Vendetta of being the reason why foodstuffs are expensive nowadays. Flora gives him an earful and runs him off.
Teddy tries to get a job at a certain company with a controversial article but he’s turned down solely because of his connection to Vendetta. At the hideout, Cardo and his comrades deliberate on how they can make the president listen to them and make him see the truth so he knows who his real enemies are. Speaking of, Lucas gladly occupies the Palace with Hipolito, Terante and his other minions.
“In just a few hours, I will become the president. And I am never leaving the Palace. Ever again.”
Romulo proposes to Cardo and the others that they keep a close eye on Oscar since the people who want him deãd are probably looking for him as they speak. Back at the Palace, Lucas enjoys the presidential seat and begins planning with his partners in crime the despiçable things he would do once he’s sworn in. The rotten vice president gloats over how he can do anything once he becomes the president.
Grandma Flora’s eatery hasn’t had any customers for the whole day on account of the bad publicity of Cardo and the Vendetta. Marie is excited about the presence of the president at her house and when she tries to take a photo of him, Jerome cautions her against that. Alyana brings Oscar some food but he refuses to eat and throws a fit instead.
Oscar demands that he be let go but Diana states that they can’t let him leave because his life is in serious danger. As fate will have it, VP Cabrera makes a public announcement of the dëāth of the First Lady.
He then puts on a show of concern and claims to hope that the president would soon be found. Oscar breaks down at the news of his wife’s dëāth. Councilor Gina picks a fight with Grandma Flora as she taunts her about how her grandson and his group had k!lled the president’s family.
Flora puts her in her place and compels her to flee. Meanwhile, President Hidalgo begins throwing a tantrum and wrecking the things inside the house of the poor couple. The lamebrain even unleashes his anger on the poor TV and Cardo and the others strive to restrain him.
“You’re a bunch of bãstårds!” Oscar seethes. “You k!lled my innocent family! I will make sure that you will all rot in prison! You mũrdêrers!”
Hipolito proposes to VP Cabrera that they prepare for the possibility that Oscar could reappear. Lucas suspects that the Vendetta has him and Terante assures him that he would deploy a battalion to make sure that he’s well protected. In the meantime, the members of the Vendetta discuss the terrible display of President Hidalgo earlier.
Oscar sleeps peacefully inside as the old couple discuss about him. Efren mentions that whoever is behind the terror would take advantage and seize power and make sure that the president doesn’t return to the Palace. While Nico goes to check up on the president, Patrick sneaks out with the güñ he had stolen from George.
Patrick and his buddies pick up some drûgs from Rosa to deliver to some clients. Rosa treats her kids with such terrible hostility and compels them to do all the house chores while having fun with her boyfriend. Cardo has a talk with Diana about the president’s situation and they come to suspect that VP Cabrera and Hipolito might be behind the tragic incidents.
The police search some neighborhoods and eventually find a charred body in a drum. General Borja is notified and a moment later, Billy and his team show up on the scene to ask about the unidentified male body the police had found. Terante comes over and insists that he and his men would take care of everything.
Terante meets up with Lucas to inform him of how General Borja’s men had shown up on the site they had planted the body and almost interfered with their diabolic plan. At camp Crame, the guys begin discussing about the possibility of the body being the president’s. They worry about what could become of their country if Lucas is to replace Oscar.
Terante informs Lucas that they would be releasing the matching DNA and dental records of the burnt body soon. Hipolito asks about the real Oscar and Terante states that he would have his men take care of him. In no time, some officers from the crime lab deliver the fake evidence to Lucas. At the hideout, the Vendetta discuss about the ãttaçk on the president’s family.
“It’s likely that the president’s only remaining daughter is in danger now,” Greco mentions.
“The PSG will do their best to protect her,” Soriano remarks. “They won’t let anything happen to his daughter.”
Ramil begs to differ. “But what if the very people close to the president were behind this whole thing all along?”
Oscar observes the members of the Vendetta and silently plots to escape from them. He hopes that Lucas would come to his rescue. “Lucas, you have to help me. Save me from the hands of Vendetta. Find me before its too late.”
Lucas mounts the platform in the Palace and on live TV, he recounts the tragedies that had befallen the country supposedly because of the Vendetta. “It is with great sorrow that I have to report that, the remains of President Hidalgo have finally been found.”
President Hidalgo stares at the TV in disbelief.
“With the dëāth of our beloved president,” Lucas continues. “It is stated in our constitution…that I shall replace him. I never wanted it to happen this way. I promise that once I’m sworn in as president, I’ll do everything to restore order. Starting with the capture of Ricardo Dalisay and Vendetta.”
Grandma Flora watches the news silently, her eyes brimming with tears. Pacquito worries about what would happen to his idol. The kids and everyone else share his anxiety.
Oscar hasn’t recovered from the shock yet. “Lucas, what are you doing? I’m alive. I’m still alive!”
Efren notifies Cardo and the Vendetta about Lucas’ ominous announcement. Ramil is disgusted with it all. General Olegario points out that those in power had probably manipulated the DNA results of the burnt body they had found. Cardo then states that the president is now in even more danger.
“Now that they have faked his dëāth, his enemies will make damn sure that he never makes it back to the Palace,” Cardo declares.
