When Shannon (Pinky) gets wind of Jenny’s shady tactic, she exposes her and Jenny ends up getting sued for millions. On account of her plight, Jenny turns to Jack to help her settle the fine but after Jack disappoints her, she decides to reach out to his parents.
Gordon agrees to pay up Jenny’s fine but only on the condition that she end her marriage to Jack. The disturbing cycle continues as Jack plans to move forward with his decision – he would divorce Jenny whom he’s now grown tired of so he could finally marry Shannon.
Shannon also intends on getting married to Jack in order to have her rëveñge on him and make him suffer like he had done to her. Though she begins to realize that she has feelings for Windsor, the guy who saved her from drowning in the ocean, she cannot forsake her rëveñge to be with him.
Meanwhile, Jenny makes several desperate attempts to win back Jack. Pinky finally succeeds in getting Jack to divorce Jennifer. To top it all, Jenny also loses her job after Shannon exposed her and got her sued for stealing a foreign product and claiming it as her own.
Ethan falls victim to Jenny’s wicked scheme and gets himself in trouble. Jenny goes out of business and even ends up spending some time in jail where she’s tormented by nightmares of Pinky. Mrs. Lin gets hurt badly following an altercation with Ethan and Jack. With
Shannon hell-bent on getting married to Jack to initiate her rëveñge plan, Windsor decides to take off. Shannon’s Dr. Queen continues to thrive and she succeeds in winning over Jenny’s clientele. After Jenny gets out of jail, she reaches out to Mrs. Hung for help.
However, Mrs. Hung turns her down and drives her away as she’s upset over the scheme that cost her and her family millions. Jack’s family agree to pay off Jenny’s lawsuit provided that she sign the divorce papers and leave Jack. To make matters worse, the Hungs also take away her son and kick her out of the house.
While Shannon takes over Venus beauty salon, the very same salon that Jenny owned before, Jenny becomes so misërãble. With nowhere else to go, she’s compelled to accept Shannon’s offer to work as a cleaner in Venus.Shannon (Pinky) warms up to Jack’s family and is prepared to take in Jenny’s son, Shawn, and treat him as her own.
Shirleen treats Shannon (Pinky) with indifference. Since Jenny has been reduced to a mere cleaner after her fall from grace, she makes a pathetic attempt to pull a fast one on Shannon. Shannon won’t be outsmarted. After Shannon has fully dealt with Jenny and put her in her place, she targets Jack and his family.
Jack engages in a business deal that turns out to be a huge scam. Jack loses over 15 million belonging to Shufon Group, his father’s company. He makes the mistake of reaching out to Shannon for help. Shannon manages to get Jack a loan from Mrs. Giselle Gao on the condition that he gives up his share in the company as collateral.
Jack agrees to the deal and signs the contract without reading it. Unknown to him, he’s also given up the shares of his mother and sister. Shannon and Mrs. Gao now own more shares in Shufon Group more than Gordon Hung himself, and they plot to take over the company’s management as well.
Despite Windsor and Giselle’s counsel, Shannon decides to move in with Jack’s family without getting registered or married to him. Gordon refuses to attend his son’s engagement with Shannon. Shirleen reaches out to Windsor in a desperate attempt to break off the union of her brother and Shannon.
Mrs. Hung is compelled to get Mrs. Gao an expensive diamond as a gift, only to realize that the gifts she received from Giselle before were nothing but fake jewelry. Jenny makes a last-ditch and frantic attempt to foil Shannon’s engagement to Jack, and Windsor gets hurt in the process when he comes to the rescue. Jack runs Jenny off and gives her an ultimatum.
