“We mustn’t lose hope! We’re gonna get out of here alive! Protect each other! We’re going to charge at them! Alyana, stay right behind me! Commander, General, get ready!”
Cardo asks Jerome who had shôt them and he speculates that it was probably one of Homer’s men. Outside, Ramil takes down a couple of goons to protect the girls and Miss Becky, who convinces a neighbor nearby to hide them in her house.
Since Soriano’s injury isn’t as severe as that of his superior, he helps Cardo carry Jerome. In the meantime, Teddy talks over the phone with Grandma Flora about Marco who the police still hasn’t seen yet. Flora urges him to be vigilant since the psyçhö might return.
Psyçhö Marco meets up with his henchmen and gives them marching orders against the Vendetta. He charges the crooks to leave our favorite hero and his wife to him.
Speaking of, Cardo takes down some crooks they come across, just as Romulo’s group also strive to get out of the place so Happy’s wounds could be treated. Unfortunately, Homer refuses to dīê as he regains consciousness and begins crying out for help. Even more unfortunate is that, his men find him and carry him away.
Miss Becky and the girls thank Bubbles for her help because they could have all been deãd by now if it hadn’t been for her warning. Romulo’s group run into Cardo and his wounded police friends and when they draw guñs on each other, our favorite hero stops them and despite the grievances of a few of his comrades, he refuses to abandon Jerome and Soriano who are wounded. Romulo then agrees to let them tag along.
The Dalisays discuss about the despiçable Cabrera family and their crimes. When Paco mentions that Marco is really insane, Yolly agrees with him and notes that the psyçhö probably takes after his father and that kidnäppęr brother of his.
Grandma Flora suggests that they stay home and avoid going out like the authorities had said. Yolly then asks how the kids would go to school and Flora says they would be homeschooled for some time. Teddy receives a visit by the officers who update him on the search for Marco and the case against him.
The officers then begin questioning him about his daughter’s whereabouts and Teddy insists that he has no idea. The guys carrying wounded Homer run into Roldan and the others and they decide to flee from Legarda and leave their other comrades to their fates.
Cardo and Romulo’s group manage to get out of the tenement without further trouble.
Catherine talks over the phone with his dëmėnted son and urges him to stop whatever he’s doing and let the police take care of the Vendetta. Marco claims and promises to head home soon, but Catherine suspects that he’s lying.
Meanwhile, the Vendetta finally find Ramil and the girls and Cardo reunites with Alyana. Ramil asks of the cops with him and Cardo says they’re injured and in need of their help. Since it’s too dangerous out there, Romulo decides to leave Miss Becky and the girls behind.
“What about me?” Bubbles wails. “If Scorpion finds me, he’s gonna k!ll me.”
“Cardo,” Miss Becky beseeches. “Please take Bubbles with you. You’re the only ones who can protect her.”
Cardo glances at Romulo who gives the signal for them to leave. Meanwhile, Psyçhö Marco sets off for Legarda with his men, reflecting on some memories with Alyana and the encounter with her and her husband when he had failed to catch and k!ll them. President Hidalgo is getting worked up because he still hasn’t received any accurate report from General Perez regarding the operation against the Vendetta.
On their way to Legarda, Marco gets even more upset after his father talks to him on phone and tries to dissuade him from carrying out his mürdērous intent. In no time, dawn breaks and the psyçhö and his men chance upon the Vendetta while they’re still trying to escape Legarda on foot. The inevitable güñ battle ensues and the members of the Vendetta güñ down a couple of Marco’s men.
President Hidalgo lashes out at General Perez for failing to capture the Vendetta and letting them overpower the police force when there are about ten of them. The block headed General states that Cardo’s Vendetta companions came to their aid – Homer and his men.
Speaking of, wounded Homer is throwing a fit over the betrayal of Bubbles as his men drive him. When they offer to take him to the hospital for treatment, he lashes out at them since that could lead to their capture. Hipolito calls Homer on phone and learns of Vendetta’s escape. The güñ battle continues between the Vendetta and team Pysçhö Marco and drags on into the morning.
Ramil worries that Cardo’s wounded police buddies could slow them down but Cardo refuses to abandon them. In the Vendetta’s attempt to get away before the arrival of reinforcement, Tadpole and Greco suffer flesh wounds. Barakuda takes out a couple of the goons before he’s günñed down by psyçhö Marco.
Grandma Flora has a talk with the kids and makes them understand her decision to pull them out of school for the meantime. They soon receive a visit from Captain Dingding and after learning of the reason why the cops had come to their place earlier, she promises to tighten security around their house and the entire neighborhood.
The Vendetta try to escape with their wounded comrades and Marco pursues them with his group. Billy has a glimpse of the psyçhö so he calls General Borja to notify him.
“What the heck is he doing there?” asks the General in disbelief.
“We’re not sure yet, sir. But we saw that he was heavily armed.”
Psyçhö Marco and his group manage to trap the Vendetta as they strive to escape Legarda.
“Dalisay!” Earthworm calls out. “It’s impossible for us to get out of here alive!”
“Cardo! What’s the plan now?” Ramil prompts. “We’re trapped here. We need to do something fast. We have no choice but to face them head-on.”
“We mustn’t lose hope!” declares our favorite hero. “We’re gonna get out of here alive!”
On Cardo’s signal, Ramil, Anton and George run for the cars while Cardo and the others cover them. The güñ battle ceases for a while and in that awful moment, Happy succumbs to his wounds and dies on the spot. Greco is inconsolable. Earthworm notifies Cardo that their wounded companions are losing a lot of bløōd.
“We need to charge ahead, c’mon!”
“Alright! Protect each other! We’re going to charge at them! Alyana, stay right behind me! Commander, General, get ready!”
On the count of three, Cardo and the Vendetta charge ahead with their wounded comrades, leaving Happy’s body behind. Psyçhö Marco and his men pursue them and continue to fire at them.
