“So what? You had no right to do that to another woman. That is what you have taught me. How to hate myself. Rica finally has a chance to get justice, and if she loses that chance because of you, I will never forgive you. Never.”
Bea walks the school with Pogs, excited over how the press conference video has been trending. Pogs begins his sweet-talking and makes it crystal clear that he likes her, and that he’s seriously fallen in lövê with her.
As they stare into each other’s eyes, transfixed, Stella and her group show up to make mockery of Pogs and Bea joins them. Pogs looks on in disbelief as she ditches him again for the girls. That’s gotta hurt.
Audrey storms the Sicat residence to confront the ‘husband stealer’. She begins ranting and making a scene as she can’t seem to understand why her husband had chosen a former pröstitutê over her. She vents out her frustration on Dan and reveals the talk she had had with him during the dinner at the mayor’s house.
Audrey rants some more about how Karla and Troy seem to still have feelings for each other. Dan cuts Audrey off, telling her that it doesn’t matter because he’s the one Karla had chosen. When he asks her to go and have a talk with her husband, Audrey lashes out at him and his wife.
She asks Karla if she’s happy that she’s won and hadn’t even given her a chance with her husband. Karla says she never wanted to take Troy from her. She takes Audrey by surprise by apologizing profusely and urging her to let go of all the hatred.
“You can still blame me again and again,” Karla sobs. “But please stop blaming yourself. Stop hating yourself already.”
Without another word, Audrey retraces her steps and turns to walk away. At Balai Arkitektura, Rose and the other workers observe excitedly from the outside as Rica has a moment with Kyle in his office. Back home, Karla resumes the serious talk with her husband about mayor Troy.
Dan brings up how he had overhead them talking the other night and how Karla couldn’t even say anything when she had been asked if she had any regrets. Dan admits his jealousy over his wife’s connection with the mayor, though he notes that it’s good enough for him that she had chosen him and lōvêd him.
Karla wails and denies having any feelings for the mayor and Dan asks why she can’t accept the truth. Pogs tails Bea to a shop, amazed that she had cut classes to go shopping. Bea retorts, saying that he’s worse because he also cut classes to stalk her. Bea goes on about how she needs branded clothes for Stella’s upcoming birthday party.
Pogs strives to reason with her and asks if he’s as clingy and lame as the girls had said earlier. Bea evades the question and states that she wants to be like Stella and her group since they’re popular and admired by everyone like Raven.
Pogs can’t seem to understand why Bea needs to prove anything to them.After reaffirming his lövê for her again, Pogs urges Bea to discard the party and stay with him, but Bea ditches him again and asks him to go back to his class.
Following a business discussion at Balai Arkitektura, Rica resolves to leave the table for her desk when she notices that Kyle is wrapped up in his thoughts and not paying attention to anything or anyone around him.
Axel receives a phone call from Mrs. Constantino who notifies him of Kyle’s investigation into his dad’s dëāth and his suspicion of the mayor’s involvement. Consuelo urges him to look out for his buddy lest he end up like his dad.
As if on cue, Kyle suddenly gets up from the table and dashes out and Axel goes after him as Rica looks on. Anyway, Audrey arrives home and reflects on her recent encounter with Karla.
Audrey is upset that Karla had the audacity to tell her not to hate herself. She throws a fit and after she calms down, she realizes that Karla was telling the truth – she’s always hated herself all her life.
Pogs decides not to attend the birthday party so he warns Brax to keep an eye on Bea and make sure that none of his friends try something on her.
Bea shows up all dressed up and the guys are mesmerized. However, Pogs leaves after staring for a while. Kyle tracks down Joseph Laurena’s house but meets only his wife who recounts how her husband had disappeared.
He asks about the incident at the Sidero Arts High but the woman insists that she knows nothing. As Kyle persists, she slams the door right in his face. Kyle turns around and freezes when he finds Axel and Rica standing there, staring. Bea comes to the birthday party with Brax, only to get picked up on by the school bullies.
Meanwhile, Rica questions Kyle about how he had told her that he believed the mayor wasn’t responsible for what had happened to his father. She asks if he had been lying and Kyle says he couldn’t tell her the truth before because she looked so happy with the mayor.
“He talked to the victims and made deals with them,” Kyle mentions. “He made the whole thing go away. He let everyone think that dad’s design was the reason why the building collapsed. And why all those people died.”
“The mayor already said those accusations aren’t true, and I believe him,” Rica argues.
“Why? You didn’t know him. He’s still a Ramones. You and your family know what kind of people they are.”
“My mom said that he is a good person.”
Kyle is exasperated. “He is a Ramones. You really think that he’s clean? That he hasn’t ruined lives during his lengthy stay as this town’s mayor? Maybe you’re being blinded.”
“Am I or are you?” Rica retorts. “You don’t have any proof yet, but you’re already convincing me that my dad is guilty?”
“I’m trying to convince you to have an open mind.”
“No, you’re not. You’re convincing me to lose the trust I have in my dad who’s my ally. I don’t have that many allies. I still call him ‘the mayor’, but he is my father. He’s important to me.”
“My dad is important to me too!” Kyle snaps.
Kyle laments over how he can’t let the case go because of how his dad might have suffered. Without another word, Rica walks away. Kyle then vents out his anger on Axel, asking if he had deliberately brought Rica along to get back at him.
Axel gives his buddy a reality check as he can’t seem to understand what the hell is wrong with him even after he had gotten the girl. Kyle rants, saying that he can’t just pretend like everything is alright. Audrey comes to herself and desperately tries to reach Cindy on phone. Once she picks up, she urges her friend not to post the photos any longer.
Unfortunately, Cindy says she had already given the trolls the order to post the photos online. As Audrey urges her to find a way to delete the photos, Raven shows up and confronts her with the article that has already gone online, appalled that she’s the one behind it.
“When I got those photos, I snapped. I got angry. Sue me!”
Raven just stares in disbelief.
“But you don’t understand,” Audrey wails some more. “All my life, it has always been her!”
“So what?” Raven retorts. “You had no right to do that to another woman. Haven’t we already done enough when we ruined Rica? Now you want us to ruin her mother’s life too? She and dad hurt you before, but they parted ways. They have already moved on with their lives. But you didn’t.”
Audrey looks on miserably.
“You could have forgiven dad for his mistake, but you became cold. You became bitter, hateful. That is what you have taught me. How to hate myself and the sister I should have been given the chance to know. Rica finally has a chance to get justice, and if she loses that chance because of you, I will never forgive you.”
“No, Raven,” Audrey sobs.
“Never,” Raven reaffirms. And with that, she walks away.
Audrey sinks to the floor, crying her heart out in misery.
