The Dalisay family watch the news report of President Hidalgo’s unintelligent statements against the Vendetta, and they worry about the implications for our favorite hero. At the city hall, Margie also watches the news with her sister who resolves to badmouth Grandma Flora’s family on account of it.
Still, Margie firmly believes that Flora and her family aren’t involved in the alleged crimes of the vigilante group. The members of the Vendetta watch and listen to the president’s statement, and a couple of them speculate that Oscar could be as corrupt as Lucas and Hipolito.
Peng and the girls assure the group that they would never rat them out. Andi worries about Cardo. Meanwhile, some nosy neighbors have the guts to confront Flora’s family about Cardo’s whereabouts. The blockheads worry that the president could deploy army tanks to the community to blow them all up. As Margie observes from her house, Yolly chases off the morons.
Captain Dingding has an encounter with Councilor Gina on account of the suspected k!ller of the mayor being a member of the neighborhood. Dingding vows to triple her efforts to get rid of all evil doers and shady characters in her jurisdiction, and that includes the councilor.
Yolly and the others worry about how their neighbors keep hounding them and Grandma Flora tells them that they should know how to handle the situation since it isn’t the first time it’s happened. Wally says it’s different since it’s now the president who’s after Cardo’s group. Gina badmouths Grandma Flora and her family and Dingding defends them.
Margie comes over to the Dalisays to express her support for Flora’s family. Flora appreciates her and insists on not charging her for the order she makes for the day. While the Vendetta struggle to come up with a way to find compelling evidence against Lucas and Hipolito, the corrupt duo thank Homer’s group for a job well done which had helped Lucas regain the president’s trust.
In Santo Nino, Cardo expresses his appreciation to the chairman, Caloy’s family, his buddies and the other inhabitants of the town for all their help. Alyana also thanks her friends for their assistance. The people excitedly press for the newlyweds to ki$$ so they do so to cheers.
Lucas is confident of getting Brandon out of jail because of the president’s statement.Catherine begins arguing with him over Marco’s situation. Lucas wants Marco to forget about Alyana before his obsession with her ruins him but Catherine won’t have that since she fears what her lünatiç son could do if he doesn’t have his way.
Cardo and Alyana dance together happily before joining their friends and well-wishers to feast together. Doray and Elizabeth hope that Mrs. Dalisay would start a family with her husband at the soonest.
Meanwhile, Catherine informs Marco of the all-out manhunt the president had ordered against the Vendetta and urges him to quit with his search. Back in Santo Nino, Caloy’s family and everyone else decide to give the newlyweds some space to do their thing.
“I should be the one to find Cardo,” Marco declares. “Because I want to be the one who will end his life. Then I’m going to take Alyana with me and if that woman refuses, I’m going to end her life as well.”
Catherine is appalled. “No. Don’t you dare do that.”
Marco hangs up on his mother in a heartbeat. General Borja has a talk with his men about the president’s statement, hoping that they would be able to get to Cardo’s group before any other group does.
Later, Delfin receives a phone call from his sister who asks of what could happen to her grandson. Flora hopes that they figure out where Cardo is hiding so they could pass on some information to him so he could prepare for the worse.
Cardo romances with Alyana. “Everyone’s gone. It’s just the two of us.”
“Cardo…” Alyana admonishes,
“Maybe now I can have your permission.”
“For what?”
“We’re married again. And now I have my license to k!ll.”
Alyana laughs and Cardo carries her into their hut as Javier observes with his men
“I’ve been waiting for this moment to come. You think I’m tired?”
The guys ask if they should join in on the fun and Javier replies in the negative. He says he’ll give the newlyweds their time for tonight because he would have Alyana to himself soon. And with that, they walk away. Now back to the hut:
“What are you planning to do?” Alyana asks.
“My lövê, I’ve waited for a long time. Finally tonight, my patience will now be rewarded.”
“Cardo, what exactly are you planning?”
“Now, you’re about to experience the passion and the rage of the ultimate lover boy, Mr. Ricardo Dalisay.”
Cardo cries out like a wolf before taking his wife to the bed. At the Palace, Lucas fails to convince President Hidalgo to help him out with Brandon’s case so he presses for him to have Brandon transferred to a less chaotic detention center. Oscar says there’s nothing he can do about it and Lucas keeps his irritation in check. The people at Legarda tell Miss Becky and the girls about their worries regarding the president’s statement.
Miss Becky promises to talk to the group and remind them to be more careful. The next morning in Santo Nino, Cardo teases his wife with what had happened last night as they prepare breakfast together. They settle down to eat and a moment later, Doray and Elizabeth come to check up on them.
They ask what had happened last night since they had heard what sounded like a dog making growling noises. They make light of the situation. Javier and his gãñg storm the market to make their usual collections. At the vice mayor’s office in Manila, Margie is at it again with her advances to get Adonis’ attention. Yolly and Elmo come over to deliver food they had ordered earlier.
Margie makes note of the vacant space for a lease at the canteen so Adonis suggests that they rent it so they could sell there. Yolly kindly declines the offer, saying that they can’t afford it. On her way out with her husband, they run into Councilor Gina and her minions.
Councilor Gina gives the vice mayor a congratulatory gift since he’s set to be sworn in as the mayor. Cardo and Alyana tag along with Doray and Elizabeth to the market. On their way, Elizabeth teases Alyana with how she had wanted to buy a jacket for Cardo some time ago. Cardo asks if it’s true and Alyana admits to it. Doray and Elizabeth then tease her some more.
At the Palace, President Hidalgo meets up with General Perez the leader of the task force he had formed to go after the Vendetta. Oscar gives the task force a one week ultimatum to find Vendetta. Meanwhile, Gido and his buddies tell their puppet master that Yolly and Elmo might have gotten ahead of her and told the vice mayor bad things about her.
Gina refuses to take that so she asks her minions to think of a way they could beat Grandma Flora and her family. In the meantime, Elmo has a talk with Yolly about how Councilor Gina has been trying to get on the good side of the new mayor.
“What if she tells the new mayor lies about grandma and our family?”
“But Margie is on our side,” Elmo points out. “She won’t let the councilor inflict damage on the new mayor’s brain.”
Yolly is appalled at her husband’s terrible English. “Damage his brain?”
“You know, põisoñ his mind. Brain poïsōn.”
Oh, God. The ridiculous look Yolly gives Elmo is priceless. Back at the Palace, General Perez assures the president that they would accomplish the task they’ve been given in less than a week.
In Santo Nino, Alyana resolves to buy for her husband the jacket she had been eyeing some time ago. Javier is prompted of the presence of the guy who had beaten him up at the market, so he curses and storms over with his gãñg to confront Cardo.
