At the city hall, the vice mayor Adonis is informed of how the mayor had been shôt and the atmosphere of the place turns gloomy. Marge is horrified with the news.Grandma Flora and her family manage to make some good sales at their eatery.
Paco accredits their good fortune to Marge and hopes to see her again. Flora believes that their efforts with the business would pay off eventually. While Jerome and Soriano are on the hunt for the suspect who had shôt the mayor, Marge talks on phone with the vice mayor.
Jerome approaches Marge and asks her to go home because a suspect who had evaded arrest is hiding in the area. Soriano reaffirms his partner’s order and as Marge turns to leave, she’s taken hostage by suspect in question right outside the Dalisay house.
Jerome and Soriano to react. The commotion pulls in a crowd and Marge manages to break free by elbowing her assailant.The criminal tries to fire his güñ but coming out of nowhere, Paco grabs a stick and beats him down before the officers subdue him.
In Santo Niño, Cardo and Alyana reminisce about their marriage and the life-threatening incident that predated it. The last showdown with Joaquin, that is. Back in the city, the suspect is taken into a waiting patrol car, with the incident having pulled in a crowd.
Marge thanks Paco and the officers for coming to her rescue. Grandma Flora shows up and when she asks what the matter is, Jerome reveals that the crook they had caught is the suspect who had shot Mayor Simone during a ribbon cutting ceremony at the hospital.
Unfortunately, the mayor hadn’t survived even though he was already at the hospital. The people are alarmed to learn that the suspect lives in their neighborhood so Captain Dingding promises to do everything in her power to keep the neighborhood safe.
Homer takes pleasure in being on the good side of the vice president. He and his minions look forward to becoming Lucas’ musketeers when he becomes president. The Cabrera lawyer informs Brandon that it would be difficult to win his case because the testimonies against him are concrete and consistent.
Brandon gets upset but declares that he isn’t afraid because he had been told that they have the law on their side. In Santo Nino, Elizabeth and Doray tease Alyana over her reconciliation with her husband. The sound of music leads them outside where Cardo performs with his buddies to a great reception.

While Caloy’s family laugh and react with pleasure, Cardo comes over to Alyana and brings forth a ring and Alyana gladly accepts his proposal. The next morning, the couple push through with their marriage plans. At the Arevalos, Catherine shows up and actually questions Teddy and Virgie about their daughter’s whereabouts.
The couple say they have no idea but Catherine refuses to believe so and when she begins ranting, Teddy cuts her off. Teddy bring up Marco’s troubling attitudes and behaviors much to his wife’s displeasure. He bluntly tells 2nd Lady to stop tolerating her son’s ridiculous behavior.
Virgie resolves to do damage control. Back in Santo Nino, Cardo and Alyana exchange their vows and Cardo thanks his wife for the second chance she had given him. Virgie nags her husband and whines nonstop about the treatment he had given Marco’s mother earlier.
“Mrs. Catherine was just worried about what her son is going through,” Virgie says. “And then you had to go and describe Marco like he’s some kind of mãdman.”
“And you think he isn’t?” Teddy retorts. “You saw how Marco confronted us! I will never let Alyana get back with Marco ever again!”
Catherine drives with Menchu and discusses with her the incident at the Arevalos earlier. She’s determined to fulfil her son’s obsession of Alyana. Speaking of, Cardo and Alyana exchange “I dos” in front of the priest and they’re pronounced as husband and wife. Again. Our favorite her ki$$es his wife and the people react with such warmth and excitement. The newlyweds then get into their makeshift vehicle and drive off.
President Hidalgo decides to give a public statement against the Vendetta. Marissa worries about the consequences of her husband’s decision. Still, Oscar refuses to back down as he believes that the public should be informed of the Vendetta’s supposed crimes. Hipolito brings the vice president to meet Homer and his dëāth squad.
The Scorpion is excited and ready to do anything he’s ordered to do. As Bubbles spies, Homer assures Lucas of his loyalty. Teddy and Virgie have a video call with JP their son who’s set to leave Japan and return home tomorrow. The couple worry about their son’s safety once he comes back home, and Virgie hopes that their family would be whole again someday.
Armed with nothing but sheer ignorance, Oscar organizes a press conference and exposes Vendetta’s alleged tęrrôrist activities to the public, unaware of the real culprits behind the recent tragic incidents. Cardo drives through town with his newly wedded wife and they’re congratulated by everyone they come across.
Being in the company of his gãñg, Javier observes as the couple pass by and when the guys ask if he’s going to get back at our favorite hero, he says he’ll just let him have his fun for a while. Javier declares that they would pay Cardo a visit soon enough. The episode concludes as Cardo and Alyana continue their journey with such joy.
