General Borja and her men deliberate on how the Vendetta are being framed by their enemies. They watch the video evidence Lucas had given the president featuring Homer and his group.
At the Arevalos, Virgie nags her husband about how their daughter’s life would be in constant danger because of Cardo, and Teddy points out how our favorite hero has always protected Alyana.A
Catherine actually asks her husband to grant their son his request for a private army. Lucas is appalled and he notes that her supportive actions would lead Marco to his grave. In Santo Nino, Alyana ponders over her situation with her husband and illëgâl ex-boyfriend.
As Cardo hangs out with Caloy’s family, Alyana steals away and makes her way to the bridge. While goes searching for his wife after missing her at the hut, Alyana decides to make things official and end her fling with her psyçhö Marco.
On that account, she takes off the engagement ring and throws it into the river. A moment later, Cardo finds and joins her. Alyana apologizes for not being strong enough to fight for their lövê the way that he had. Cardo says she doesn’t owe her any explanation because he’s the one who had made so many mistakes.
Alyana then shows him her hand, telling our favorite hero that she’s free and had finally decided to put an end to what she had with Marco. The couple get emotional and hug each other. Later, Cardo takes his wife along to get some fresh vegetables.
“If there’s a chance we could live in the countryside,” Cardo begins. “I would lövê to have a place to grow my own food. I’d lövê to have enough field to raise lots of livestock, just like I used to do in Botolan.”
Alyana smiles at the thought. “That would be a dream come true.”
“My lövê…can I ask you something?”
“Yeah, of course.”
“If I ever proposed to you again…would you still say ‘yes’?”
Alyana grins. “That depends on you,” she merely says with excitement.
Andi finally admits her feelings for Cardo and her mother sympathizes with her and assures her that she would move on in her own time. The girls also give her some comfort and assurance.
Back in Santo Nino, Cardo continues the adventure with his wife and enlightens her on the fresh vegetables they pick. They have fun and make some moments along the way before eventually making their way back home.
Vice President Cabrera comes to see his son who worries about getting convicted with the hearing coming up.
Lucas assures him that won’t happen because he’s started to win back Oscar’s trust again because of William’s death. Brandon pushes for his father to convince the president to have him transferred somewhere else or given special treatment.
Lucas says they would look suspicious if he starts asking for favors this early, so he asks his son for a little more time to get him out. At camp Crame, General Borja and Billy deliberate on what the vice president and Hipolito could be up to after shifting the investigation away from them.
Since they have no lead that could pinpoint them to the hideout of Homer, Billy proposes that they follow up on the lead they have on the Vendetta.The troubled inhabitants of the tenement express their grievances to the members of the Vendetta over William’s dëāth.
General Olegario makes known what had led to the dëāth of the president’s special assistant and the people reassure them of their loyalty and protection. While General Borja resumes with the search for Vendetta, Lucas informs Hipolito about his plan of getting rid of the president for good.
“No one can stand in the way of me achieving my goal,” Lucas declares. “Renato, because of your support and loyalty, you’re coming with me to the top. All the way up.”
Hipolito indulges the vice president. “Yes, I will go to the top,” he thinks to himself. “In the end, I’m going to make sure that I will be the last man standing. Mark my words.”
President Hidalgo continues to be swayed by the conspiracies incriminating the Vendetta. While Cardo recounts to his buddies the lively experience he had had with his wife, Alyana narrates her life story to Elizabeth and the other women.
She notes how some government officials want to stop her husband who’s made it his mission to fight for change. Doray mentions that Cardo is almost like a superhero, and Elizabeth is glad that he had beaten up Javier.
Cardo informs his buddies about his plan to marry his wife again so they offer to help him out and look forward to serenading her tonight. Catherine and Menchu have a hard time convincing Marco to quit his obsession with Alyana.
Catherine asks dear son what he would do if Alyana returns and rejects him. Psyçhö Marco declares that he would k!ll both Alyana and Cardo.
Yolly and her family struggle to get some customers to patronize their food at the eatery. They come across a neighbor by name Marge and the Dalisays introduce themselves and get acquainted with her.
Marge introduces her sister Sherlin and the family is surprised because of their distinct looks. Marge eventually agrees to try out Grandma Flora’s cooking. Marge is delighted with the food and decides to make two orders.
Councilor comes up- with a legal means of earning money since she had been compelled to close down her illëgâl businesses. She decides to rent a space at the city hall and plans to win over Simone the mayor. A moment later, Marge happily comes to see Adonis the vice mayor and makes deliberate efforts to make him fall for her.
At the Palace, Oscar spends some quality time with his kids. In Santo Nino, Cardo begins to put things in place to wed Alyana again. He reaches out to the chairman who gladly offers to officiate and sponsor the occasion.
Later, our favorite hero and his wife have dinner with Caloy’s family. Meanwhile, Billy and his team stake out the tenement, hoping that they’re not compelled to go against Cardo since it isn’t the reunion they want. Team Billy spot Andi, Miss Becky and the girls talking nearby so they decide to inch closer in hopes of catching some useful information.
When Chikoy brings up how Miss Becky had gotten in his way when they had tried spying on Andi before, Billy states that they can’t just go around asking anyone for info. He realizes that they couldn’t get leads before because people like them are protecting Vendetta.
