Lucas comes to see Oscar and puts on a quite pathetic act to gain his sympathy. He feigns concern for William’s dëāth, all the while badmouthing the Vendetta and even claiming that they had tried to k!ll him before. Hipolito and Venom gloat over the precarious situation of their vigilante enemies.
Pilo worries that they would probably hunt them down since they now know that they’ve been posing as Vendetta. Homer is unfazed and Hipolito commends his fearlessness.
Captain Dingding questions her men about the reports of the suspicious activities she had heard had been going on in the neighborhood.
Councilor Gina’s lapdog assures her that that isn’t so but still, Dingding declares that she would never allow any kind of illëgâl activities to operate in her turf. A moment later, the shady watchman notifies Gina of the captain’s determination to clamp down on the illëgâl activities going on. Gina blames Grandma Flora.
Cardo fetches some buckets of water for Alyana to take a bath with. Catherine worries about how her psyçhö son is upset with her because she’s no longer supportive of his obsession with Alyana. Menchu promises to keep an eye on him.
Coming upon the scene, Lucas states that if Marco doesn’t stop looking for Cardo, then he could become Cardo and the Vendetta’s next target like William. In the meantime, Marco orders his minions to scour the towns up north and not stop until they find Alyana and k!ll Cardo.
While our favorite hero chops some firewood to the admiration of his wife, Lucas assures Catherine that they would soon be on good terms with Oscar when their plans are executed. Speaking of, Homer manipulates Hipolito to pay them double for their next job.
At camp Crame, General Borja and his men hope to find Cardo’s and Homer’s groups soon since the president had given them an ultimatum. y deliberate on the possible reason why the vigilantes had also been at the hotel.
“I think Vendetta was after William Celerio,” Billy mentions.
“Or maybe they got a tip about Adlawan’s plan, so they went there too,” Chikoy chimes in.
Now it’s General Borja’s turn to have a say: “The only ones who can answer that lingering question are Adlawan and his men, and Vendetta. So we need to find out where they’re all hiding right now.”
Aubrey talks to Harold about the supposed encounter he had had with Vendetta. She’s glad that he hadn’t been hurt and Casillag thanks her for her concern. In Santo Nino, Cardo takes Alyana out, riding with her on a bicycle. They have fun and some sweet moments at a field.
Meanwhile, Councilor Gina confronts Yolly, Wally and the others for refusing to leave the neighborhood and they put her in her place with her shenanigans.
Gina begins making a scene on the street as she badmouths the family and their connection to ‘the terrorists”.
She feigns concern for the people of the town and urge the Dalisays to move out of the neighborhood. Elmo and the others get in her face and expose her fake concern. Back in Santo Nino, Cardo goes horseback riding with Alyana, just as Casillag informs the president of his suspicion of there being a traitor within their ranks.
Hipolito shows Lucas a video of the job Homer’s group had done. Lucas is delighted and confident that the president would now believe that Homer and the Vendetta belong to the same group and had plotted together to k!ll William.
Oscar worries about whether or not William had been planning something against him after he had confronted him about the anomalies in a particular construction project.
Also, Casillag worries that William might have had numerous allies. The opinions of the people are divided over how the Vendetta had k!lled William, though a whole lot of them still believe in their cause to eliminate corrupt officials.
Oscar begins whining about how he still needs to stop the vigilantes. He mentions his distrust of General Borja. The members of the Vendetta deliberate on their recent mission that had failed big time. Nevertheless, they make a toast to continue with their mission.
Elmo, Yolly and Wally inform Grandma Flora of how Councilor Gina keeps ruining their family’s reputation. They worry that they might not be able to attract customers because of that.
Elmo says they might have to close down the eatery and Flora urges that they stop being negative. She assures them that their business would be a success in the end. Meanwhile, Cardo tries to convince his wife to settle down with him in Santo Nino, and Alyana asks that they don’t rush things.
Cardo and Alyana have lunch with Caloy’s family. Later that night, our favorite hero hangs out with the guys and reveals his plan to serenade Alyana. Since he can’t sing, his buddies gladly offer to help him.
Cardo soon returns to the hut to have dinner with his wife. They talk about our favorite hero’s days with the Special Action Force. Cardo mentions that Caloy had left the force because he had been scared of dyiñg in an encounter and leaving his family behind.
“And you?” Alyana asks. “Didn’t you ever feel scared then? You’d leave the house not knowing if you’d be able to make it back alive.”
“Back then, I wasn’t afraid of anything,” Card admits. “And I didn’t really care if I diëd in duty. But there comes a point when a man starts to value his life. I realized that when I met you and Grandma Flora. So I have to be more careful, especially now that we’re starting over again.”
Alyana is all smiles as they have dinner. At the Palace, Lucas shows up with his equally rotten wife who puts on a quite pathetic act and pleads for the help of the president and his first lady. Imagine what this is about?
Lucas shows Oscar a photo that had been wrapped around a rock and allegedly been launched into their house. It’s a family photo of the Cabreras with a red V drawn across it.
Lucas shows Oscar the video he had gotten from Hipolito and strives to make him believe that he had been targeted because of his alliance with Hipolito.
Oscar asks Lucas why he sided with the Vulture in the first place and Lucas claims that he had been misjudged. He tries to make the president believe that he and Brandon had been set up by the Vendetta. Speaking of, the vigilantes deliberate on their current situation and the possibility of Cardo being in even more danger.
President Hidalgo proves to be as dümb as we never thought as he easily believes Lucas’ crappy story. While Homer gloats over how he had tricked Hipolito to pay them more than the usual amount of money, Oscar actually apologizes for doubting Lucas. Lucas shrugs it off and urges that they join forces to put an end to Vendetta’s “reign of terror”.
As Andi worries about the safety of our favorite hero, Cardo thanks Alyana for the chance she had given him. Upon spotting the engagement ring Marco had given Alyana, Cardo assures her that he’s not upset but hopes that she would fall in lövê with him again. General Borja examines the evidence Lucas had presented a while ago.
Oscar lamely states that someone had thrown that into the house of the vice president. General Borja is exasperated and probably can’t seem to understand how gullible the president can be. “Sir, I’m just confused. Lucas makes a face. “Are you asking me? I was ambushed once. We’re lucky they just threw a rock. What if it was a grenade? What if they hurt my family too?”
President Hidalgo then begins whining about how the Vendetta are seemingly responsible for the recent incidents. He lashes out at General Borja for his failure to capture the vigilantes. Vice president Cabrera adds to the trouble as he states that Delfin has only one job, and that’s to capture the Vendetta. General Borja gives him an irritated look.
“That is if you can arrest your grandson,” Lucas taunts.
