“I’m guessing that you’re troubled again. Lövê is an absolute pain, isn’t it? I find it hard to believe that someone wouldn’t fall in lövê with you. You will never really know unless you talk to her about it. What if she needs to choose your best friend over you?”
Bobby grabs Audrey and taunts her with how her husband had reacted to the affair they had had. He takes pleasure in the fact that the incident would hunt his brother for the rest of his life and make him hate her.
Audrey makes mockery of Bobby, asking whether his only goal in life is to be Troy’s equal. She also ridicules his pathetic life and Bobby gets upset and as he tries to compel her to take back what she said, Raven walks in on the scene and comes to her mother’s defense.
Raven gets in Bobby’s face and tells him that she wouldn’t allow him to hurt her mother the way she had done to his wife. As Bobby tries to react, Jigs shows up to call him off. Once home, mother and daughter argue over the incident, with Raven appalled with the possibility of Audrey entering into a relationship with the abüsive Bobby.
Anyway, Rica hangs out with her biological father and they have a heart-to-heart regarding the case and Cassie’s reluctance to involve herself.
“I’m sorry, dear,” Troy moans. “I wanted to do everything for you. I wanted to be your hero, just for once. I’m sorry because I failed you.”
A balloon seller passes by and Rica buys one and ties it to Troy’s wrist. As the thing dangles in the air, Rica asks if he feels like some weight has been lifted off him and Troy laughs and stares in amazement. Rica smiles back at him. Meanwhile, Consuelo bids goodbye to her boys to attend to something at her firm in Manila.
Before leaving, she counsels them not to continue to drag out things with Rica lest she drop them both in a heartbeat so she doesn’t cause a rift between them. The balloon brings back some memories from the past as Troy recounts Rica’s 3rd grade presentation during her sports festival.
Rica is amazed to learn that since her childhood, Troy had been watching her from afar and had had all her performances recorded from kindergarten to college. He notes a particular performance as his favorite and Rica gets emotional and asks why he hadn’t told her before.
Troy says it still wouldn’t have been enough to make up for all of his shortcomings. Troy apologizes to Rica again and she surprises him by holding his hand and telling him that the most important thing is that he’s now there for her. The next morning, Bobby gladly informs his family that the case against Jigs would be dismissed soon.
In school, Bea bothers her brother with her suspicion of their mother and sister keeping something from them. Nico reacts with indifference and she turns on Pogs when he butts in. She asks what his deal with Brax is and Pogs says he’s only trying to help her.
Bea seems confused. “How exactly?”
“You’ll see,” Pogs merely says.
“What do you mean?”
Pogs starts to walk away. “Be patient. It’s a…secret.
“Just tell me,” Bea insists. “I don’t like secrets.”
“That’s why I don’t keep it a secret that…” Pogs turns to Bea with a sweet hand gesture. “…I lövê you.”
Nico laughs as his sister reacts with annoyance. At Balai Arkitektura, Axel approaches Rica and asks to talk to her about what madam CC had said to her. Rica is reluctant and not in the mood for such a conversation. Pogs urges Brax to tell Bea the truth before he ends up hurting her more.
The only thing Brax can worry about is how to confess his feelings to someone he likes, something which confuses Pogs. He wonders whether it’s Bea they’re still talking about. At the pantry, Axel succeeds in reigniting his friendship with Rica. Kyle sadly witnesses them laughing together. Meanwhile, Dan is upset over the dismissal of the anti-voyeurism case.
Attorney Dizon is confident that they still have a chance to file an appeal for the rãpë case once they’re able to convince the other women to cooperate with them. Some time later at BA, Rica painstakingly brings her boss a report on a particular project.
Kyle tells Rica of his mother’s intention to apologize to her. He asks about why she’s been avoiding her and the meaning behind the message she had left him on the rooftop. Rica doesn’t want to talk about it now so Kyle lets it go.
Later after working hours, Rica heads out with Axel to wait for her dad to pick her up. Kyle’s attempt to follow doesn’t go so well. Meanwhile, Bea gushes with emotion as she paints a revealing scene in a romantic film in an attempt to compel Brax to confess.
Nico and Pogs are amused. A car veers out of nowhere and comes at them and Brax deftly shoves Pogs out of the way before he’s knocked down. Bea observes with interest as Brax worries about the minor injury Pogs had suffered.
As fate will have it, Kyle has another encounter with Karla who had been sitting motionless by the roadside even though her things were scattered on the floor. He helps her out and Karla admits that she doesn’t feel like going home yet because she doesn’t have any good news for her daughter.
“That’s the exact same look you had on your face when we first met,” Karla mentions. “I’m guessing that you’re troubled again. Maybe it’s about matters of the heart? Just admit it. Maybe I can help you in some way.”lövê
Kyle is spellbound for a moment. “Well…you guessed right. I fell in lövē.”
Karla sighs. “Lövê is an absolute pain, isn’t it?”
“And what hurts the most,” Kyle adds. “It seems that she doesn’t feel the same way about me.”
“I find it hard to believe that someone wouldn’t fall in lövê with you.”
“Me and my best friend are both in lövê with her. She became distant ever since. And I also thought she distanced herself from my best friend, but earlier I saw them laughing together. Am I jumping to conclusions?”
“You will never really know unless you talk to her about it,” Karla remarks.
“I already tried,” Kyle states. “But she didn’t wanna talk to me. I think she’s trying to let me down gently. I don’t want to add to her current problems. She’s going through a lot. My feelings for her is not what she needs right now.”
Karla asks the million dollar question. “Then what if she needs to choose your best friend over you?”
“That would hurt a lot. But I’ll have to respect her decision.”
Rica reflects on her conversation with Kyle earlier in the office. As she begins worrying about how her actions might have pushed him away, her dad joins her outside. Dan asks about how her trip had gone and makes mention of his reason for allowing the mayor to be part of everything.
Back by the roadside, Karla tells Kyle that she hopes the woman he lövês chooses him over his best friend. Still, she asks if he would be able to handle it when things go the other way. Kyle says he hopes so. Dan has a heart-to-heart with his daughter about how proud he is of her.
Rica reveals the mayor’s invitation to the city hall and how he had asked to be given a chance in her life. She hopes that they can all get along and so, she’s decided to give him the chance he’s asking for. Dan consents to Rica’s decision since he believes that it would be easier to convince the public that the mayor is on their side.
Anyway, Karla and Kyle wrap up their conversation and they both wish each other good luck. Bea reflects on how Brax had saved Pogs and the manner in which he had also worried about his wellbeing. Girl is upset for some reason. She barges into her brother’s room to question him about how Brax had reacted when the incident had occurred.
Nico doesn’t seem to get her. Back outside, Olivia suddenly shows up a moment before Karla does, surprising everyone. She asks if she’s already too late to meet the deadline. The episode concludes as Rica stares without words to say.
