The episode begins with Ella reflecting on her last conversation with Archie. On that note, she refrains from sending the text message. As fate will have it, Karla shows up a moment after Ella has walked over to the door of Rica’s doctor.
Karla doesn’t notice her so she goes to ask Ella’s doctor for some info that could help her find Ella. Though she notes that Ella really knows her, the doctor refuses to divulge anything since it’s not allowed to give out patient information.
Ella lingers outside Dr. Irene’s door and she changes her mind at the last minute and decides to head down the stairs, just as Karla comes out of her own doctor’s office. Again, Karla fails to notice her because she chooses to sit down to sulk.
A moment later, some girls join her on the bench and when she overhears them talking about Ella, she pleads with them to help her get into contact with her since she’s the only one who can help her daughter.
Rica arrives at Balai Arkitektura to be bombarded with the concern of her coworkers. She assures everyone that she’s fine, saying that it’s nothing compared to the rãpë case that had been dismissed. She then makes known her plan to move forward and focus on her life.
Later in the boss’ office, Kyle asks Rica if she’s really okay and when she reaffirms so, he proposes that she come with him later to see the Santuario site. After failing to get some privacy at the pantry, Rica slips into the washroom to cry her heart out.
Meanwhile, Troy ignores Laura’s phone calls during breakfast. He seems to be in deep thoughts so Audrey asks if he’s okay. Troy remains silent and reflects on what had gone down last night with the treacherous witness.
Flashback: Troy lashes out at Bong Tupas for double-crossing him. He then points his güñ at him.
“You’re all animals!” Tupas cries out. “You’ve proven you’re no different from your father. Both of you can go and dīê!”
Troy fires off a single shot and gapes in disbelief. Attorney Dizon then shows up to behold the scene. Troy throws away the güñ and Laura stares at him in disbelief. Tupas who hadn’t actually been hit takes the chance to escape and Troy fails to catch him.
When Laura’s henchmen show, she sends them to recapture Tupas before questioning Troy about how he had almost k!lled someone. Troy says he had snapped because Rica is suffering because of Alberto, Bobby and Jigs.
Laura looks on silently as Troy laments over how his family keep manipulating everything just to get what they want. On that account, he declares that he’s had enough. Laura is appalled so she asks if his plan was to stop them by k!lling their only witness.
Troy merely says that she shouldn’t be surprised because he’s his father’s son. Laura begs to differ as she points out that Troy always chose to give into the wishes of his father for validation.

Presently, Troy glances at his wife and brings up the promise they had made to each other – that they would stop keeping secrets from each other. He then goes on about how he had been so devastated and furious after the hearing and so had to take out his anger on the world.
Audrey admits that she’s happy for Jigs but sorry for him (her husband) because of his situation. The workers at Balai Arkitektura discuss about their current and upcoming projects. After the meeting is over, Kyle and Rica get stuck in the doorway as they both pass at the same time.
Axel observes as they stare at each other until Miss May prompts them to move out of the way. And when you think things couldn’t get any more awkward and ridiculous, Kyle literally bumps into Rica on his way to his office as Axel looks on.
Rose doesn’t approve of Rica’s decision to give up on the case. She tries to talk her out of it but Rica comes up with an excuse to postpone the conversation.
She gets up to leave, only to bump into Kyle this time around. Rica apologizes but Kyle shrugs it off and asks that they meet later at the rooftop because he wouldn’t be able to go to the Santuario site. Rica replies with nothing but silence.
Karla returns home and lies to her husband about what she’s been up to. She recalls the info she had gotten from the ladies at the clinic. Meanwhile, Ella ignores Archie as he cries out and makes a scene outside her house.
At BA, Rica decides to accompany Axel to a site visit. At school, Bea vlogs amidst rude remarks from the mean girls. She gushes with excitement when Brax comes to compliment her. Bea thanks him for being nice and always being there for her.
Brax invites Bea to his sister’s café so she can have a taste of the cheesecake and make a review. Bea is excited but not so much anymore when Pogs intrudes and insists on going too. Outside BA, Axel asks Rica if she would scream at him if he asks her how she’s feeling. Rica playfully throws the question right back at him.
‘You’re really something else,” Rica notes with a smile. “You always know the right words to make me feel better.”
Axel smiles. “I told you before, right? I’m not just a pretty face.”
Bea excitedly takes some photos at the beautiful coffee shop. She has Pogs take some more before Brax comes to take them to their table. After Bea makes her order, Pogs grudgingly asks for black coffee without sugar or cream.
Brax brings Bea some cheesecake while they wait for their order. As he goes on to glorify the cheesecakes, Pogs sulks as Bea has a taste of it. Pogs is amused when he notices how Bea tries to hide her discomfort, all the while complimenting the tasteless cheesecake for Brax’s benefit.
Meanwhile, Kyle has some guys decorate the rooftop in preparation for his meet up with Rica. While he waits up for her to show, he receives a text message from Rica who apologizes for the holdup and asks that they meet up some other time.
Kyle has nothing to say or do except to stare at the wall of messages in disappointment. Axel brings Rica to a quiet place since she said she wanted to scream earlier. Rica merely closes her eyes and basks in the serenity of the atmosphere. Axel can’t seem to keep his eyes off her.
However, he looks away when Rica opens her eyes. Rica takes back what she had said about Axel earlier. She says he doesn’t really know the right words to say but knows when it’s better not to say anything at all. The two exchange smiles and Rica thanks him.
“If you don’t wanna talk, I’m here for you,” Axel says with a smile, and Rica smiles back at him.
