“Cardo’s a hero. He saved a lot of people. I don’t get why some people are so quick to judge Cardo. And some call him a tërrôrist? You heard what he did. That’s quite a huge burden to bear.”
Vice president Cabrera has a talk with some foreign investors who are worried about using a bogus Filipino company as their partner. Lucas assures them that they wouldn’t get into any trouble. He soon receives a phone call from Brandon, telling him about the recent happenings.
Meanwhile, president Hidalgo is quite upset to learn of Romulo’s escape from police custody. He expresses his disgust over dëãd Catindig who was the head of the NMIG. On this account, he charges his men to look into other government officials involved in the matter and arrest the culprits at once.
General Borja and team Billy deliberate on the numerous incidents leading up to Catindig’s ättaçk on the hospital. Though they share a strong suspicion as to who the mastermind is, they’re not able to do much since there’s not enough evidence.
Speaking of, Hipolito puts on a show at the hospital, all the while discrediting Cardo and his vigilante group. Back inside Brada hospital, nurse Andi is interrogated by General Borja and his men and she makes deliberate efforts to give them absolutely nothing to go on.
Alyana comes to see her illëgãl boyfriend at the hospital and the sick guy blabbers nonstop about spending the rest of his pathetic life with her. Sick guy is astonished once he learns that Mrs. Dalisay hasn’t signed the annulment papers yet.
Menchu looks on as he urges her to go through with it. Still, Alyana looks quite hesitant. At the tenement, Andi reunites with her mother and informs Cardo of how his grandpa had noticed her.
“I saw it myself,” Delfin says to his men back in the hospital. “I saw Miss Collins talking to Cardo and Dumaguit. So I have a strong feeling the girl had a hand in Dumaguit’s escape.”
“I think I’m being considered as one of the suspects,” Andi says to Cardo back at the hideout. “I was interrogated.”
Andi reveals to the group that she had heard the neighbors talking about them and thus, fears that they might report them to the authorities.
Later, Miss Becky talks the Flower Power Girls into covering for the Vendetta and plans to handle the neighbors. At the hospital, that thing Cardo calls a wife confirms and admits how she had already accepted to marry her illëgãl boyfriend. She says they’re moving way too fast, and psyçhö Marco gets upset.
Romulo expresses his appreciation to the entire group for coming to rescue him. Cardo reveals to General Olegario that they had klled everyone who had made an attempt on her life, Catindig inclusive. Diana hopes a thorough investigation would be done on the dëãd traitorous sñåke so his dirty secrets would be exposed.
Meanwhile, the thing Cardo calls a wife pays Grandma Flora a visit to inform her that she would be processing the annulment of her marriage to her grandson. Tears and drama follows. Grandma Flora recounts how she had stayed loyal and true to her husband throughout his demanding police career.
She notes that though she doesn’t agree with Alyana’s decision, she respects and accepts it. A moment later in the living room, a news report of how Cardo’s Vendetta group had fought off the armed men in black led by Catindig comes on.
“Some say that if the Vendetta hadn’t stopped Catindig’s group, more innocent people could have died in the blõödy encounter…” narrates the reporter.
“You heard that,” Wally points out to no one in particular. “Cardo’s a hero. He saved a lot of people.”
Paco butts in as Alyana looks on, stupefied. “C’mon, he’s always been a hero. That’s why I don’t get why some people are so quick to judge Cardo. He sacrificed being with his family just so he can defend and protect other people, and some call him a tërrôrist? You heard what he did. That’s quite a huge burden to bear – not seeing your own family.”
Alyana blinks back tears and disappears after saying her goodbyes, and Yolly comforts Grandma Flora. At the tenement, Romulo learns of the comrades they had lost during the ättaçk on their former hideout. Again, Diana takes blame for it, and so does our favorite for not being around then, and the commander declares that there’s no one to blame, and that they would carry out their mission as long as they’re alive.
Hipolito isn’t happy when he finds out about the new wëapoñs his henchmen had bought. Homer insinuates that he shouldn’t be mad since they had already taken the initiative. However, Hipolito belittles them and Homer asks if he’s going to get rid of them as well. While the commander vows to make the Vulture pay for everything he’s done, General Borja and his men gather some info about Andi, as well as Catindig.
General Olegario foretells that Borja would likely investigate nurse Andi and thus, Ramil pushes for the group to be ready and not caught off-guard. Outside, Miss Becky, flanked by the Flower Power Girls, addresses the troubled, gossiping neighbors and reveals how the Vendetta had saved them from their foreign clients who had held them hostage.
The girls confirm the rumor of how Cardo’s group had helped the innocent people in the hospital, stating that one of the people Vendetta had rescued was Andi. A number of guys propose that they relocate to a different hideout before they’re turned over to the police.
Romulo points out that it wouldn’t be easy to find another hideout in their current situation, and Cardo mentions that they can’t leave Andi and Miss Becky behind since their lives might be in danger. While Miss Becky talks her neighbors into protecting Vendetta, Marco sees the news of some victims/witnesses accrediting Cardo’s group for their survival.
Psyçhö Marco turns off the TV angrily. “I hope that Cardo gets arrested. And I hope they k!ll him. I want that man to dië!!!” It’s a shame. We all thought this mādmañ had been cured but it doesn’t seem so because he goes right ahead to threaten to k!ll our favorite hero if he tries to win back that thing he calls a wife.
Again, we all know this mādmañ wouldn’t stand a chance. Foõlishnëss seems to be going around today as Virgie who had seem the news of Cardo’s good deeds begins grumbling about how the witnesses might be lying and twisting the story.
Alyana argues against her mother’s silly opinions and the woman continues blabbering as if she’s now reached her menopause stage in life. Perhaps her brain had expired. Anyway, Cardo tells Romulo and Diana of his suspicion of how his grandpa Delfin had deliberately allowed them to escape.
Diana agrees that General Borja might be on their side, though she points out that the higher-ups around him won’t stop until they’ve captured all of them. Later, Diana has a one-on-one talk with Romulo who recounts how General Borja had protected him from Catindig and Hipolito. He admits that he now understands why she had insisted on asking him for assistance.
“He’s a committed law enforcer,” Romulo declares. “But that’s also the reason why we have to be weary of him. Even Dalisay believes his grandfather let us escape. But General Borja is a man of principles, just like myself.”
Cardo is brooding by himself when Andi joins him and strikes up a conversation with him. Our favorite hero apologizes for all the trouble but Andi says there’s no need as she and her family and acquaintances fully believe in his group’s cause. Cardo then offers to bring her to and from work to ensure that she’s safe at all times and Andi is all smiles.
Homer’s group worry about losing the mansion and their source of income since Hipolito had thrëãtened to kick them out. Mando proposes that they thrëãten the Vulture and Homer is all for it. Speaking of, Hipolito is at it again with his empty promises as he campaigns to be voted as the next senator.
Vendetta; Ally or Enemy? reads the news headline. President Hidalgo discusses the matter with his wife, asking why the vigilantes haven’t surrendered if they’re really the government’s allies.
Meanwhile, vice president Cabrera commends Hipolito for maintaining his standing in the recent survey. Hipolito thanks him for his continuous support and Lucas charges him to fulfill his promise of taking down the Vendetta.
Chikoy and Vargas head to Andi’s place on General Borja’s orders in civilian clothes. They soon arrive outside the tenement. At the hideout, the Vendetta have breakfast and Romulo thanks George for letting them stay in his place.
Cardo expresses his worries of how his grandpa would never stop until he finds them. He concludes that they would definitely come to the neighborhood to investigate Andi.
Billy discusses Cardo’s situation with General Borja and goes on about how he still thinks our favorite hero is a cop because he’s still fulfilling his duties. He mentions that Cardo’s group is only going after çriminãls, and Delfin shõöts back at him, saying that his group is still violating the law.
Meanwhile, Chikoy and Vargas head into the neighborhood and they’re spotted by some guys who notify Miss Becky. While the undercover officers go in search of Andi, Miss Becky notifies the Vendetta.
“Maybe it’s General Borja’s men,” General Olegario speculates.
“Should we get ready to ättaçk?” Greco asks.
“No, the police aren’t our enemies,” Cardo declares.
Ramil chimes in. “If those are Hipolito’s men, what are we going to do?”
Romulo states that they need to be prepared, and thus, the guys get their wëapoñs ready. However, Miss Becky asks them to stay right there in the room so they can handle the situation. She heads out with the girls a moment before Chikoy spots the room Cardo and his comrades are hiding in.
