“Why did you do that?! Don’t you have a mother? Don’t you have sisters? Don’t you have a girlfriend? Answer me!”
Rose learns from a coworker how Rica had suddenly run off at the last minute when her name had been called for the job interview. She reveals that she used to work with her before and stating that sir Kyle really liked her designs, the coworker urges her to go ahead and give Rica a call. A moment later, Rose types a message but eventually backs out of sending it to Rica.
Rica hangs out with Allie, worried about the perception of her would-be coworkers and boss once they learn of the recent scandal she had been involved in. Allie scolds her for making no use of her talent even after passing the board exams. She reminds her of her interview and cheers her up, and Rica expresses her appreciation.
The corrupt congressman Alberto has Archie tied up to a chair somewhere while a tech specialist goes through his computer and wipes off every single evidence against Jigs. Archie protests and gets pünchêd in the belly for his trouble by a random goon, even as his traitorous mother pleads for mercy. Alberto charges Archie to turn himself in and keep his mouth shut about his grandson’s misdeeds.
Archie throws a fit and demands to be set free since all the evidence he could have used against Jigs has already been deleted. Mrs. Soliman urges her son to comply with the demands of the congressman. Meanwhile, Rica goes to seek employment elsewhere and she’s commended by the interviewer for standing up against what had been done to her.
“I want to hire you. You passed the board despite everything you’ve been going through.” Rica seems excited.
“I like your designs. You will be an asset in this firm.” “Thank you very much.” “However, there’s a catch.”
“What do you mean ‘a catch’?”
The interviewer reveals that they currently have no opening in the Sidero firm, adding that they have a vacancy in Iloilo. She then asks if she can relocate. Once Rica gets home, she informs her family about the situation. Dan asks about her plan but before she can respond, Karla states that the place is too far. She then receives a phone call from attorney Dizon who reveals that Archie has turned himself in.
Audrey seems to be in a really good mood as she has dinner with her daughter. Troy arrives home with Raven’s favorite desserts. Audrey then taunts him and gladly reveals that Archie has turned himself in. As Troy excuses himself to read some text messages from attorney Dizon, Archie is processed at the precinct.
Attorney Dizon comes across the Sicats on their way into the police station to confront Archie. She counsels them against it, though that doesn’t stop them from storming in. Karla tries to go at Archie as soon as she sets eyes on him, but Laura and Dan hold her back. Rica stares at Archie as she recalls the troubles the video had caused her. She then storms over and asks why he had done that.
“Why did you do that?! Don’t you have a mother? Don’t you have sisters? Don’t you have a girlfriend? Answer me!”
Archie merely says sorry and as he turns to leave, Rica pulls him back and follows up with a släp, saying that being sorry isn’t enough and won’t fix anything. She then charges him to tell everyone the whole truth if he really regrets what he did. Mr. Soliman butts in and his equally shāmelëss wife joins him in defending their son. Dan shoves Ronald aside. Rica explodes and accuses the entire Soliman family of ruining her life.
Troy has a talk with attorney Dizon over Archie’s sudden surrender. He speculates about his family and Audrey’s involvement. Once the Sicats arrive home, Rica laments over how people treat her badly because of ‘that video’. Dan asks why she had kept it all to herself and when Rica says she didn’t want them to worry, Karla urges her to tell them even if they have a hundred problems.
Rica is walking to the edge of the building when Kyle shows up, hurries over and urges her not to ‘do it’. Rica merely turns to glance at him for a while before whirling around. She then jümps off the building to her dëath.
In an instant, Kyle wakes up in the comfort of his bed. At the Sicats, Karla struggles to accept Rica’s decision of moving to Iloilo for the job opportunity. Meanwhile, Kyle leaves Rica another message on the wall:
“You can fix whatever the problem is. Keep fighting. I need to know you’re okay. Can we meet? Saturday, 9am.” The Sicats have breakfast, talking about the highly urbanized city of Iloilo. Karla acts all zombie-like, even as Dan asks Rica about when she would give her response to the company.
Rica says she would call them later. Nico sadly mentions that she would miss her when she goes, and stating that it’s her cooking he’s likely to miss, Rica promises to teach their mother how to prepare his favorite kimchi fried rice. She glances at Karla, who breaks eye contact with her and walks away.
Rose writes another message for Rica and flashes back to that fateful night at the club. Senior architect and Kyle’s best friend Axel “Chino” Mateo finds Rica’s design and he seems to be impressed by it. At the Sicats, Dan questions his wife about her recent strange behavior on account of Rica’s decision to go to Iloilo.
Karla laments over how they would have to board a ship or ride a plane anytime they want to visit her. She then expresses her worries over her safety in their absence. “As her parents, we need to let her go,” Dan states.
Karla silently turns away and randomly begins watering some plants. Dan comes over and hugs her from behind. Meanwhile, Kyle has a talk with Chino about the stunning design of the runaway applicant, eager to meet her in person. Speaking of, Rica receives Rose’s message, asking that they meet up.
Later, Karla goes to the market to buy some stuff and the vendor begins gossiping about her with another vendor who speculates that she (Karla) had thrëãtened someone (Audrey) with a kñîfë.
“I know you were actually gossiping about me,” Karla says matter-of-fact. “I can hear you loud and clear. I hope the information you have is correct.” “I told you so. She showed her true colors,” the vendor with the missing middle tooth says to the other. “That girl is so rude.”
“Yeah, you’re right.”
Karla shrugs off the annoyance and buys two limited edition key chains at a discount. The vendor with the missing middle tooth complains about the discount, saying that she’s sure Karla gets an allowance from the mayor.
Karla warns her to quit her fõölishnéss and the woman asks if she would thrêäten her like how she had supposedly thrëãtened Audrey. Karla ignores her and buys the key chains. She then glares at the vendor with the missing tooth.
“Get your teeth fixed,” she taunts before leaving. Pogs is live streaming Bea as she updates her followers about the arrest of Archie when the mean girls show up to belittle her family, particularly twisting what had gone down between Karla and Audrey at the charity event.
They accuse her mother of being responsible for the mayor and his wife’s alleged separation. Out of nowhere comes Brax who defends Bea, saying that her mother (Karla) hadn’t thrown anything at Audrey according to his mother’s friend who had been there at the time.
“That didn’t happen at all. Stop spreading fake news.”
Mean girls tuck tail and disappear. Bea smiles at Brax in appreciation before he walks away. She then gets all excited over what had just happened. Meanwhile, Karla is carrying some stuff she had bought somewhere else when she’s almost run over by a reckless driver.
The guy drives off but not after receiving an insult from Karla. Another car pulls over nearby and out comes architect Kyle to check up on her. The episode concludes as Karla silently stares up at him.
