“It’s not like I want to be associated with the likes of you. People like you who shämelêssly use and âbüse your power to destroy an innocent woman’s life, just to protect that family member who’s a çrìminäl! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!!!”
Rica gladly runs out of the abandoned building into her father’s arms. She reflects on how the building had inspired her to take up architecture in college. A flashback shows how a younger Rica had had her parents take photos of her while she happily posed in front of the then beautiful mansion. Presently, Kyle later parks his motorbike outside the building.
Rica arrives home with her father to meet a surprise from her family who commend her for being able to finish her exams. Meanwhile, Troy confronts Ronald Soliman and demands to know where Archie is. Mr. Soliman has a few exchange of words with the mayor before assuring him that he would be the first person to know once he learns of his son’s whereabouts.
“Who are you really here for?” Ronald taunts as Troy is about leaving. “Are you here for your nephew…or for your bâstärd child?”
Troy gets in Ronald’s face after he makes another mockery of his daughter. He shuts up the guy with a dëath glare before carrying on. In no time, the mayor pays a visit to attorney Dizon and pushes for them to find Archie first so he could convince him to go against Jigs.
Having already talked to his friends in the justice department, Bobby assures his father that the appeal of the Sicats won’t be granted. However, Alberto rains on his parade, telling him not to brag when he hasn’t even been able to find Archie.
Bea takes to her social media account to urge the public to help her family track down Archie Soliman so her sister can get the justice she deserves. Attorney Dizon has Rica review her statement for her appeal. A moment later in the company of her entire excited family, Rica checks the board exams results and finds her name among those who passed. The Sicats then celebrate joyfully.
“You did it!” one says.
Rica stares at her phone in disbelief for a while before jumping along with her family. “I passed!” “She’s an architect now!”
Archie calls Jigs on the phone and blackmails him for five million. Later, Bobby has a talk with his father about his brother’s intention for looking for Archie. He cautions Alberto that Troy is likely to betray them for his illegitimate child. After Jigs fails to find Archie at his house, he has an encounter with Troy. Some choice words are exchanged.
Rica hangs out and has a heart-to-heart with Allie on top of the abandoned building and assures her that she would never try to jump again. Allie asks how she can come back to the building after what had happened before. Rica states that it’s a reminder of how she had survived that moment of weakness, adding that she can get through anything because of her survival.
Troy tasks one of his men to investigate businessman Ronald Soliman and dig out everything he can find about them so he could use the dirt on him to find Archie before his family gets to him. Meanwhile, Allie urges Rica to set up a meeting with Kyle. Rica worries about how Kyle’s perception of her could change once he sees the video, adding that he might even regret having stopped her from jümpiñg off the building.
Allie shushes her. “That’s enough of your what ifs. It’s impossible. I just have the feeling he’s different.” “That’s why I’m fine with this set-up,” Rica says. “At least on this wall and inside my head, he’s on my side.”
Rica part ways with Allie outside her house and suffers another one of her episodes. She’s left disoriented and eventually, she passes out. A moment later, she wakes up in her own bed and proceeds to get herself ready to go job hunting. Karla her mother worries but Rica assures her that she can handle it.
Karla goes to the market to buy some stuff, only to come across a billboard which has a photo of Audrey and the sister of the prosecutor as charity donors. Realizing that they know each other, she calls her husband to lament over how Rica’s case had been dismissed because of the influence of the Ramoneses.
Rica is interviewed at a certain company and the interviewer commends her portfolio and skills, ready and willing to employ her. However, after realizing that she’s the subject of the viral video, she decides not to employ her though lest her business suffer from the bad reputation.
Disregarding her husband’s counsel, Karla storms into the market amidst some gossips. She’s about to turn around and leave when a friend of Audrey’s starts with her verbal âbüse, saying that people like her aren’t welcome there. Karla says she thought there was a fūneräl going on because of all the flowers.
“It’s not like I want to be associated with the likes of you.” Audrey takes offense at that. “The likes of us? What do you mean by that?”
“People like you who shämelêssly use and âbüse your power to cover up the crimes done by your family. People like you who have no conscience and who are willing to go the extra mile to dëstrõy an innocent woman’s life, just to protect that family member who’s a çrìminäl! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!!!”
“How dare you?!” Audrey seethes.
Karla taunts Audrey with a hand gesture. “You don’t have to yell at me, ma’am. We’re in a public place.”
In response, Audrey slams Karla and brands her and her daughter as mistresses. Karla readies herself to launch her basket at her but she holds back at the last minute, saying that she doesn’t want her rōtten self to affect her fresh goods. Upset, Audrey grabs a microphone and throws it at her nemesis.
As Karla tries to brace herself for the impact, someone suddenly materializes and shields her with his body. Troy. Both Audrey and Karla are in disbelief. Troy asks Karla if she’s okay and Audrey throws a fit, screaming her lungs out for Karla to disappear or have security drag her out. Dan makes his appearance as Karla turns to leave.
Troy goes after Karla, much to his seething wife’s disgust, just as Dan admonishes his wife for being so reckless. Enter Troy, who asks to have a talk. Karla calls him out over how his family had used their influence to get Rica’s case dismissed. Troy says he’s doing everything to fix the situation.
“You will do everything, except if it’s going to get in the way of your own ambitions,” Karla taunts. “Is that what you’re saying Rica?” Troy asks. “Because she’s been accusing me of the same things.” Dan then butts in. “You stay away from my daughter.” Troy can’t help but to scoff. “What did you say? Your daughter?”
Karla calms down her husband and asks the mayor to go back to his wife before leaving with Dan. Troy looks on, sulking. Meanwhile, Raven arrives home to witness a spectacular outburst of her dear mother. Audrey seems çräzy enough to pass for a psyçhö as she thrashes everything in the room, upset that her dear hubby had made her look like a föôl.
Rica seeks employment in a different company and stating that he’s already seen her video and likes her performance, the shāmelëss boss offers to employ her as long as she spends one night with him. Rica gets up to leave but the guy pulls her back. A worker at the office opens the door just then and questions her boss. Shāmelëss boss says he was just telling Rica that he would be reviewing her application.
Taking in a breath, Rica walks to the door, only to turn back. She storms over to give the shāmelëss boss a parting gift known as a sweet släp. She then thanks the woman before carrying on. Meanwhile, Jigs receives a phone call from Archie who asks him to publicly admit what he had done to Rica and apologize to her so everyone can see and read it.
“You must be ïnsãnë if you think I’d agree to do that,” Jigs spits. I’m just going to give you two days…” “Archie, I will k!ll you, I swëâr.”
